Two teenagers Taki Tachibana(boy) Mitsuha Miyamizu share a profound, magical connection upon discovering they are swapping bodies. One day they Taki Tachibana wake up and he feel something's different he look at the mirror and he saw that's not even his body. He's on the body of the girl.Mitsuha Miyamizu wake up also she feel different too as she look at the mirror she screams.She said is my wish come true that i wanted to be a Tokyo boy then it come true.both of them go to school and they don't know there own school.So Mitsuha Miyamizu asked the parent of Taki Tachibana where do I school mom? and the mom say where she school. Mom said did u forget where u school?.Taki Tachibana ask the parent of Mitsuha Miyamizu and there now they know where they both school on there different body. They go to school Mitsuha Miyamizu said to his self act normal act like I'm a boy. While Taki Tachibana act like a boy instead of a girl.The school is over and they got home and every 12:00 they switch back to their own body. And Mitsuha Miyamizu figured it out and had a plan what if I wrote something in my hand.Tommorow morning Taki Tachibana read the wrote says don't be fool on my body act like a girl not a boy. Every night Taki Tachibana and Mitsuha Miyamizu woke up 12:00 to write on their hand or notebook. And Mitsuha Miyamizu wish that I want my body back permanently. Taki Tachibana wishes too

10years later

Mitsuha Miyamizu see Taki Tachibana at the train she followed Taki Tachibana and Mitsuha Miyamizu think she lost Taki Tachibana but once Mitsuha Miyamizu go down the stairs they see each other

and ask each other what are their names

and Taki Tachibana ask Mitsuha Miyamizu on a date..
