The Confrontation

Nyan's message," Hey, I know you have so many questions. Let me explain. I told those things to Perry as a friend nothing more. I never said anything to her seriously. We are friends so I just called her baby to tease her. I cleared this with her already. You are more than a friend to me and I am serious for you. "

"But what if she has feelings for you?", I asked.

"No, I mean. I asked her about her feelings and she denied. For her, I am just a friend", Nyan replied.

"Oh, so you are saying that you two don't have any feelings for each other. But tell me, If she had become serious for you and I also said yes, then what would you do", I asked.

" I'm sorry. I know I was wrong. I will apologize to her too", Nyan said.

( Although I was not satisfied with his answers, I chose to not ask him anything on this matter. )

"Ok", I replied.

"thanks", he said.

From that day, I lose trust in him. No matter how much he explained, but I was not satisfied with his explanation.

New Semester started, and we went to the classes regularly. But I noticed, he never talk to me personally. Neither, we talked overcall. Since very starting, we just talked over Whatsapp. Not on call and not in person.

But he always came to talk to Perry. One day, when I was in her room, Nyan called her. She went outside to pick his call and came after half an hour.

Now I don't chat with him too much. I gave most of my time to my study.

After some days:

Perry, Nitika, Shriya, Shriti and I went to the city for shopping. Our college is outside the city and we have to take a local bus or Auto to go to the market. We only went to the city on weekends. We are not allowed to go outside on weekdays. This is our hostel rule.

We bought some stationery items and went to the restaurant to eat something. Shriya wants a handbag, so we went with her to a good shop to purchase a handbag after lunch.

Shriya bought a bag for her and we came outside the shop. Nyan and his friend were standing in a nearby shop. When he saw us, he came with his friend and said to Perry, "Hi, you are also here".

"Yes, we came for shopping", Perry replied.

"Are you done with the shopping?", he asked.

"Yes, we are going back to the hostel", Perry replied.

"Oh, nice. we are also going back to the hostel. Let's go together", he said.

"Okay", She replied.

After that, we went back to college together. On the way to college, I was thinking about his conversation. He talked to Perry only as if I was not there.

We went back to the hostel. That night I thought about it and decided to end this friendship.

I don't want to talk to him now. So I didn't send him any message.

For some days, he sent Good Morning and Good Night messages, so I replied to those messages only. After some days, those messages also stopped. We didn't talk to each other for months until My Birthday.

The day before my birthday, I was very excited because it was my first day at the hostel. (Actually, I always get excited for my birthday )

At midnight, My friends decorated my room and told me to get ready for the celebration.

At exactly 12 am, I received so many wishes from my friends and my relatives. I was waiting in Perry's room as they planned the surprise for me. Suddenly, Perry came to me and hand over her phone to me. It was Nyan's call on her phone. She asked me to pick it up. I unwilling picked up the call.

On the call:

" Happy Birthday, Myra", Nyan said with joy.

"Thanks, Nyan", I said.

"Enjoy your day, Good Night", he said.

"Thank you and Good night", I replied.

After that call ends. I ignored this and get back to my room.

When I arrived in my room, It was full of balloons, there were blue and white balloons all over my bed and wall. So many gifts were there. Everyone wished me a Happy Birthday. Deera's friends were also there. I was so happy and surprised.

I cut the cake. All of us dance together and click pictures. after that, we went to sleep.
