Changes Started

Next-Day:

I went to the class as per the schedule, but as soon as I entered the class, I saw that everyone was talking about a recent announcement that was made that day.

I asked someone what's going on and to my surprise, she told me that announcement was about the change in sections of the class. So from now on, Deera and my classes were changed. I was anxious and scared as Deera will not be with me anymore.

Anyhow, I gained some strength and went to the new class section unhappily. After the first lecture, a girl came to me and asked for the last lecture's notes.

"Are you Mayra?", She asked.

"Yes, and you are? ", I replied.

"Hi, I am Perry, why do you look sad? ", she asked.

"I am just missing my roommate, nothing else", I replied.

"Oh, don't be sad, you will be okay in some time. Can I borrow the notes of the last lecture?", She asked.

"Yes, of course", I replied.

"I will give it back to you in the hostel tonight, my room no. is 305", She said with a smile on her face.

"Oh, no problem, I will come to you", I said.

"Ok, thanks, this is my contact number, you can call me in case you forget the room number", she said and we exchanged our mobile numbers.

After dinner:

I came to Perry's room. There were four more girls in the same room.

Perry welcomed me and introduced me to them.

"This is my roommate, Andy and she is Myra my classmate", She said.

We said hello to each other.

"She is Sriya, she is Nitika and she is Shriti and they are also our classmates", Perry said while pointing towards them.

"Hi, I am Myra, nice to meet you all", I said.

Perry asked me to stay for a while and I agreed.

After that, all of us discussed our personal lives and other girly stuff. I was very happy, all of them were very nice to me. After that, I took my notes and went back to my room.

Deera and I had discussed our day and after that, we went to sleep.

Next-Day:

I went to Perry's room and all of us( Perry, me, Sriya, Nitika, and Shriti) went to the class together.

Me, Perry, and Nitika shared the same seat while Sriya and Shriti sat behind us.

After the class, we went to the hostel together.

In a few days, we became very good friends. We used to share everything with each other, happiness, sorrow, fun, food everything. I was very happy with them. Deera also made some other friends in her class.

After some days, Andy's birthday arrived, we had already bought a gift for her. We sent her to my room and decorated her room with balloons, we made some props and brought a cake for her from the girl's canteen.

At exact 12:00 am, we brought her into her room and boom ...

"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday dear Andy, Happy Birthday to you," we sang together.

"wow, this is so nice, thanks a lot guys", Andy said with a huge smile and spark in her eyes.

She was so happy, she blew up the candles and cut the cake and we all ate it.

We had chosen a "short dress theme" for her birthday, although I had no dress at that time so Nitika lent her dress to me.

"Let's click some pictures", Perry said and we clicked more than 100 pictures in different poses.

After that, we danced together til 2:00 am.

"Let's go, guys, we have class in the morning", I said.

"yes, and thanks for making my birthday so special, let's eat together after the classes in the cafeteria tomorrow, It's my treat", Andy said.

"yaaaaaay , thank you Andy, Happy Birthday and Good night", We said together.

And then we went back to our rooms.

Next day, we ate together in the college cafeteria, Our college cafeteria is very big and the food is too good there, its like a hotel restaurant. We had a great treat there from Andy.

In the Night:

A notification popped on my screen. I opened my WhatsApp and saw a message from an unknown number.

I checked the number, it was from one of our class group member, Nyan.

"Can you please give me the pictures of Chemistry notes, I missed the class today", Nyan's message.

Nyan was very good in study and was a topper in the class tests.

"yes, sure", I messaged and sent him the pictures of the notes.

"Thanks, Good Night", He said.

"Good Night", I replied.

After that, I went to sleep.

Next Day, in the class:

We were about to go outside after the class.

Nyan's friend came to us and said " thank you, Myra".

I was confused, I asked, "For what ? ".

He said, " For the notes".

"Oh, Okay. No problem! ", I said.

We left the class then.

On the way to the hostel, "Nyan is too strange, why did he send his friend to say thanks", I said.

"Maybe, he is shy", Perry said.

"Or maybe he likes you and can't confront you", Nikita said with teasing smile.

"Shut up", I said. And we all laughed together.
