Feng Mian woke up at the sound of the door creaking open,

"Hugh..."

Feng Mian was groggy from being woken up.

"Seems like you're awake."

Feng Mian was frightened from hearing another voice except her own.

"No need to be so alert, I found you out by the docks passed out."

"And I figured, might as well bring here, and I brought some food, from the lunchroom."

The person placed the plate on the stand beside the bed.

Feng Mian tried to say something, but she soon found that her throat felt like a thousand razor blades ran through it.

But from what Feng Mian saw, the person neither looked male or female, young nor old, smart or dumb, strong or weak.

She had a suspicion that the was person was a cultivator or used something to change his appearance,

Seeing the delicate-looking child on the bed trying to open her mouth but quickly close it.

They felt a pang in their heart,

'This child must be mute, I wonder what could possibly happen for such a state to happen.'

"You can rest here until you fully recover."

This person turned around and left the pitiful Feng Miann on the bed.

'It must be poisoned or laced with some kind of addictive substance, maybe even Aphrodisiac."
