Meeting The Baby

"Come on! you can do it Crow!"

"Bu~"

"Crow! come on!"

"Hng!"

"YEAH!"

I jumped up happily when I saw Crow flipped over to the side. Callisto looked at me with a sarcastic look.

"... You called us, despite knowing how busy we are, saying that there's an important matter. When you said important matter, you meant this?" he pointed at Crow.

"Yes! Isn't he amazing!? he rolled over!" I exclaimed and cheerfully lifted Crow from the crib, carrying him with my arms. Io and Callisto looked at each other. Lavender giggled.

"My, my~ if my master is happy, then I'm happy~" Lavender said.

"... I envy the dead," Callisto murmured under his breath, staring daggers at my way.

Io sighed. "Little master, this is ridiculous. We're supposed to be preparing for war,"

"That's why I need to spend my free time with Crow. The others predicted the war will last for a long time. What if baby Crow forgets me?" I asked while giving Crow smooches on his cheek.

"Kya!" He squealed happily.

Callisto looked at me tiredly. "I'm outta here,"

Then he disappeared into thin air. Lavender smiled at me.

"Since young master is having fun, I want to have fun as well~ I'm going to add more cuties into my harem~" Then she disappeared.

Io crossed his arms, looking at me. I sighed in defeat.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll focus on the army,"

"Thank you," Io smiled. He bowed his head before disappearing.

I looked at Crow who's looking up to me, eyes sparkled. I smiled at him and kissed his nose. "Stay small okay?"

Arden scan through the pieces of jewelery displayed on the counter. Finally, he could rest after the endless training at the palace. He finished his duties after training. Managing his own house, meeting with colleagues, attending a party, then he finally can meet his beloved.

It's only a week, but it felt like a year. He missed Ezra so much.

"Wrap this one up please," Arden said, pointing at a beautiful necklace made out of gold, with three pieces of small ruby stones implemented on it. The rubies reminded him of his lover's eyes.

Arden smiled to himself.

Ezra never wore jewelry. So he's curious if Ezra would look good wearing one.

After paying for the jewelry, Arden went outside the shop and used his teleportation magic.

Unlike his first arrival at Ezra's place, the fairies and guards welcomed him instead of trying to attack him from coming unnoticed. Two hellhounds guided him inside the place. He saw a fairy went upstairs probably to warn Ezra about his arrival.

Arden waited impatiently on the entrance hall, holding the small gift box anxiously. He really hoped his lover would love his gift.

"Arden,"

Upon hearing Ezra's voice, Arden looked over to the stairs with a big smile.

But his smile slowly faded.

His eyes widen when he saw a small baby on Ezra's arms.

"..."

"..."

"... I'm a dad?"

"N-No. It's not like that-"
