His First Teleport

"Pft,"

Io suppressed his laughter when he saw the baby dragon on the top of my head. I stared at him sarcastically. Io cleared his throat, then gave me a serious look.

"It's cute,"

"Shut up, Io," I sighed. "It'll grow up into a strong dragon. Isn't that right, Pyumo?"

"Pyu!"

"Pyumo... Pfftt-" Io snorted loudly while covering his mouth with both hands; his body is trembling.

I wanted to hit his head so bad.

For the rest of the morning, I wasted my time getting bullied by my demon and trying to send Pyumo to another world. He's just a baby demon, so it took a while for him to understand how to disappear and reappear. It's good that he listened to me very well, but he's just a clumsy baby demon.

After an hour of countless attempts of me trying to make Pyumo understand, he finally disappeared. Io clapped his hands.

"Great job,"

"Shut it," I muttered.

I get up from the ground.

"Where are you going, little master?" Io curiously asked, with both hands behind his back. He was following me from behind.

"Brother Christopher. I promised to meet him after I'm done talking with father. Besides," I smirked at Io. "I'm going to ask him about the seal,"

"Hoo," Io looked amused.

"Because it's strange. Remember last year when you saved me from that witch? a Coordinator isn't supposed to be saved automatically by their demons,"

"That's true. But I have the urge to protect you at all costs, little master. When you're in danger, I got pulled out, and I instinctively know that I have to take that woman down,"

That's even more strange.

I already know the fact that a Coordinator's demon wouldn't save their master without a command, and Father didn't know about the seal as well. I've been quiet about it and waiting until Christopher return from school. Because I know that he must've learned something about the seal.

I didn't get the chance to ask about it to Christopher because, as I said, he's busy.

Right now is my only chance!

"Oh!"

When I arrived on the third floor, I saw Sylvester just walked out of his room!

He's wearing fancy attire. It looked like he's going to attend another meeting. But it's such a hot day out. Sylvester noticed me walking up to him, and a charming smile formed on his lovely face.

"Ezra,"

He's like those Princes in book stories. I'll be as good-looking as you are, brother!

"You're going out again?" I asked.

"Yes. Another meeting," Sylvester said while still smiling.

He's so amazing. Only sixteen and already become this busy. Around sixteen, I would've wasted my days playing videogames.

"Come home early, okay?" I asked.

Sylvester blushed, then he chuckled softly. "Alright,"

He patted me on the head, then walked downstairs. I walked to Christopher's bedroom and knocked on his door.

No response.

"Chris?" I called out—still nothing. I pushed the door and peeked inside. His room is neat and empty.

Where could he be?

"He's at the library,"

"Gah!"

I still can't get used to Juno appearing out of nowhere like that! My poor fragile heart...

"J-Juno," I stuttered. Juno realized that he surprised me. He ruffled my hair to comfort me. He kept patting and ruffling my hair until I stared at him strangely. "... I'm okay now,"

"Okay," He then let go.

The library is quite far from here. I sighed lazily.

"Wish I can teleport like Juno. I'm so tired of walking,"

"..."

"... Wah!?"

Suddenly, when Juno pressed his index finger on my forehead, the room suddenly spun. The walls are wobbly, the furniture got big then suddenly small. And in a matter of seconds, the two of us suddenly standing in front of the library.

"Urp-"

I gagged and tried to swallow my breakfast that I ate five hours ago. Juno looked flustered.

"I forgot to mention. You'll feel sick when you experienced teleporting for the first time. Especially if you're under six,"

And you just told me that now?!

"Bleeegh!"
