14 Chapter 12.5

After venting all her frustrations and pent up sadness, Ariella finally calmed down and was back to normal.
She got out of Lor's embrace and thanked him.
"Thanks Lor, I really needed that." She smiled at him, no longer faking her emotions.
"It's okay, it's what I'm here for. Although...I didn't know you were a cry baby Ariella." Lor said, a teasing and meaningful look on his face.
Ariella blushed at his words and immediately turned her face to the side.
"S-Shut up! At least I wasn't the one who was crying about his mama!" She rebutted, instantly dealing emotional damage to Lor.
"Then, I guess we're both babies then." Lor said with a smile.
She looked at his smile and couldn't help but smile too, a blush accompanying her smile.
"Yh...I guess we both are." They smiled at each other, a loving atmosphere around them.
They stared silently at each other before Ariella tilted her head up towards him.
Lor, seeing what she was doing, went along with it. He moved closer to kiss her.
Just when they were about to kiss, Sophia appeared and interrupted them.
[Master, 10 hours left till the planet's destruction.]
Lor and Ariella immediately backed up at Sophia's abrupt appearance. They immediately looked at her to see she was looking at them with an emotionless face.
"My Rao, Sophia stop randomly appearing like that!" Ariella screamed at her, her heart beating fast in surprise.
There was also a hint of anger in her words, it was quite obvious she was upset with Sophia for interrupting her moment with Lor.
[Apologies, miss Ariella. I just had to let Master know how much time he has left. It's an urgent matter after all.] Sophia said with the same emotionless face.
"Hmph. Very well, I'll take that excuse for now." Ariella crossed her arms, her face turned to the side in anger.
From this exchange, anybody can tell that Ariella knew about the existence of Sophia for a long time now.
Lor decided to also tell Ariella about Sophia since it could also cause a dent in their relationship if she found out on her own.
It could even be a bigger problem compared to if she finds out about his powers since this one involves a woman.
It could be seen as Lor cheating on her.
Although, he told her about Sophia, he didn't tell her about the system, that was a secret he already promised to keep to himself.
He told Ariella she was just an AI he created and his assistant to help him manage things in the guild.
That's it and with that, there should be no problem.
After all, It's not like anything can happen between him and an AI right?
"Hmm, Five hours have passed huh. It sure didn't feel like it."
Lor said, his mind wondering to just how much time could pass without him noticing.
"Oh well, it is what it is, I guess. Ariella, let's go." Lor said as he stretched out his arm to her, urging her to take it.
"Sure, darling." Ariella said with a happy smile as she took his arm.
Lor pulled her into his embrace before launching off into the sky, leaving an expressionless Sophia who watched their interaction from the side with unreadable eyes.
Nobody knew what was going through her mind at that moment.
She then abruptly disappeared.
*BOOM*
Lor soared through the sky at a fast speed, a laughing Ariella in his embrace.
"Woahhh! This is amazing Lor!" Ariella screamed in delight, a bright smile etched on her face.
Lor smiled gently at her reaction, he too had the same reaction when he took his first flight.
It was simply exhilarating for a previous human who couldn't fly at all.
*BOOM*
It didn't take long at all before Lor landed outside the training center.
He walked inside with a giggling Ariella who was carried bridal style. They walked into a training room that was similar to the one Lor was in previously and sat down in one of the chairs that appeared there.
They talked all through the remaining time they had, once in a while making out and getting frisky but never going all out.
They also spared and fought against some sentinel's together every now and then, deepening the team work and fluidity between each other.
While fighting, they would make jokes and reminisce about their time together on the planet, laughing at some of them due to finally seeing how stupid and awkward it was at that moment.
But even though they were laughing at their moment's, only they knew that it served to bring them closer.
Eventually, time passed and it was almost time for the planet's destruction.
[Host, ten minutes are left till the planet's destruction.] Sophia said from his head, changing the way she addresses Lor.
She only calls Lor master in front of other's since if she called him host in front of others then it would be weird and could even give some people clues to his system.
Batman could definitely figure something out given enough time if Lor left clues and traces like that.
'I see. Sophia, upload all the files and information we have to the ship.'

[Done.]
'Great.' Lor stood up at that and turned to Ariella who was sitting beside him, sipping on some nutritious drink Sophia got for her.
"Ariella, let's go. The planet's about to be destroyed." Lor said, his words gaining Ariella's attention and stopping her from sipping on her drink.
"Already? Ugh, fine, let's go." She tossed her drink to the side before standing up and walking to Lor's side.
They both walked out of the training center before reaching the war ship, putting in the necessary codes and information to get in.
They eventually got in and took in the interior of the ship. It had several rooms and couches in it, looking like a simple but luxurious living room.

The interior was completely different from what someone would expect for a war ship but Lor changed it to be like this.
He wasn't actually gonna use the ship for wars or destruction, he alone was more than enough for that.
He only chose a war ship because of its offensive capabilities, it would make for the perfect ship if he wanted to go to another place due to its fast speed and if he ever felt like not flying.
It's ability to defend and attack is nothing more than a bonus.
*Whistle*
"Not bad, Lor. You've really outdone yourself this time haven't you? I love it." Ariella said as she whistled and sat down on one of the soft couches.
"You think so? I think it could be better but if you really think so then thank you." Lor said with a smile as he sat down next to Ariella, only to be hugged from the side by her.
"Yes, yes I really think so dummy." Ariella said with a loving smile as she laid her head on his shoulder.
Lor didn't say anything and simply enjoyed her company.
'Sophia, take control of the ship and direct it to space, a few million miles from the sun so that we can be at a safe distance from the explosion.'
Lor commanded from his head.
[Yes, host. Activating control system.] The moment Sophia said that, the ship started levitating off the ground before blasting off to the sky, leaving the very place Lor was raised.

The ship eventually appeared in space, several miles away from the planet and sun. Lor watched the planet from a holographic screen that was showing him the entire planet and sun.
"Such a lovely planet is about to be destroyed Lor, by none other than our own sun, The very same sun that symbolizes our respect and worship for our god Rao is going to be the one to destroy us all...ironic isn't it?"
Ariella said from beside Lor, watching the planet and sun with an unreadable expression on her face.
"It truly is Ariella...it truly is."
[Five minutes left till Planet destruction.] Sophia's voice echoed all around the ship.
They stayed like that, watching the planet and sun, each with their own thoughts.
Just when it was a minute before the planet was about to be destroyed, they saw a rocket flying out of the planet, heading for an unknown destination.
"Lor! Did you see that? Someone else knew the planet was about to blow up! Thank Rao, the Kryptonian race doesn't end with us after all." Ariella said from the side, shaking Lor and pointing at the flying rocket heading out of the planet.
"I know, I know, I see it Ariella." Lor said with a tired smile, not even bothering to stop the hyperactive girl.
'It seems Superman made it out huh, I suppose that's good.' Lor thought as he stared at the escaping pod.
'Now, all that's left is to make sure Kara gets out.' Lor thought before going back to watching the planet.
A few seconds before the sun exploded, a pod also flew out of the planet, moving fast away from the planet.
*GASP*
"Lor!! Another one also came out of the planet! Another Kryptonian gets to live!" Ariella gasped and said excitedly.
She was really happy the Kryptonian's weren't gonna be erased from reality and made history.
Lor stared at the escaping pod, his vision traveling miles and landing on the pod.
It peered through the pod and stared at the person in there.
The person was crying heavily and banging on the pod, seemingly trying to get out.
She had tears dripping to the ground and was screaming at the planet.
This person was Kara.
She had grown these past two years and was far more taller and cuter than she once was.
Lor stared at Kara and was relieved she made it out. He already watched for her when he was still on the planet and could see that the pod she was going to use to escape was already made.
Seeing that she was crying so much made Lor's heart ache.
He really hoped he wasn't the reason she was crying so much and was just upset at her family dying.
'I really hope you can forgive me Kara.' Lor took his gaze away from her and looked back at the sun, preparing for it's inevitable destruction.
"I wonder who was the lucky person to escape." Ariella wondered.
If only she knew it was her worst enemy, only God knew how she would react.
*BOOM*
A few seconds after Kara got out of the planet, the sun exploded, releasing a bright red light and vast shockwave.
The shockwave and light spread to the planet, engulfing and destroying it, causing it to explode and release it's own shockwave.
*BOOM*
The two shockwave's spread to their surroundings, instantly covering thousands of miles in the blink of an eye and still spreading at an alarming rate.

Lor's eyes widened at the situation and he instantly called out to Sophia.
"Sophia! Get us even further away from the planet!"
The ship activated and sped away, instantly covering miles.
Unfortunately, even that wasn't enough to escape the fast approaching shockwave and as a result, was instantly hit by it, sending it flying.
"Ugh!!" Ariella grunted as her and Lor were sent flying off the comfortable couches and into the wall.
The ship kept tumbling down space, heading for a portal that appeared out of nowhere.
'Shit!' Lor cursed.
The ship plunged into it and immediately, the portal closed, the fate of our protagonist and his love, unknown.
Kara's pod was also knocked off course and sent flying into a portal that seemingly appeared out of nowhere, her fate unknown too.
And just like that, Lor's time on Krypton comes to an end and his journey to inconceivable power....
Finally begins.

||Destroyed Cadmus Facility||
Outside the recently destroyed Cadmus facility, stood several figures standing on two different sides.
On one side, there were six people, each standing side to side and staring at the other side with defying gazes.
They were all teenagers assumingely with unique outfits and bearing's.
One of them stood at the front of the other's, with light blonde hair cut, deep brown skin and pale green eyes.
He had gills and possessed black, eel-like tattoos that run across his back and along his arms and was wearing skin-tight, full-body, red-and-blue swimsuit that exposes his arms and feet.
This was Aqualad.

Standing behind him were five other people, one of them was a young boy with unkempt black hair, hanging over his forehead.
He was Caucasian with blue eyes. His uniform comprised of a red vest held closed by three yellow rectangular fasteners on the front, black leggings, boots and gloves.
This was Robin.

Next to him, stood a handsome caucasian male with short black hair and blue eyes. He had a muscular build and was noticeably taller than the others around him.
He had a white skin suit that clung to his body, exposing his muscular body. The top of his suit was torn as though he just came out of a fight, hiding a red S on it.
He had a noticeable frown on his face, as if mad at something.
This was Superboy.

Standing next to Superboy was a Caucasian male with spiky red hair, freckles, and green eyes. He had a lean yet slightly muscular build.
He had on a uniform that was yellow with red pants, red gloves, and yellow shoes, with a symbol of a red lightning bolt within a white circle on his chest.
This was Kid Flash.

Standing next to Kid Flash was a white skinned beautiful girl.
She had short beautiful blonde hair and mesmerizing dark blue eyes. She had a slender but toned build, tilting towards a body that emphasized strength and speed.
She had on a white skin suit similar to Superboy that clung to her body, revealing her curvaceous figure.
She had an expressionless look on her face but her eyes showed her defiance and stand in this current situation.
She was clearly with the teenagers and against the other side.
This was Power Girl.

Next to Powergirl, was an astoundingly beautiful girl.
She had long golden hair that stretched to her lower back and light blue eyes. She had a slender and toned build, similar to Power Girl.
She also had on a blue crop top that hung tightly to her figure, emphasizing her abs and voluptuous body. It had a red S symbol on the chest and a red cape with golden lines on it, giving her a majestic vibe.
She had on a blue skirt with a golden belt and red boots with golden lines on it too.
She had an emotionless expression on her face and dead eyes.
She didn't even care about the current situation she was in, just looking at the people in front of her like they were air.
Her dead eyes had no light in them, as if every strand of Hope had been taken from her.
She clearly had no motivation to live.
This was Kara otherwise known as Super Girl.

All six of them stood against several adults who had serious and strict looks on their faces.
They were obviously not happy with the Kid's in front of them.
One of the adults stepped forward towards the teenagers and spoke, his deep voice and bat-like costume giving an intimidating look.
"Cadmus will be investigated, all Fifty Two levels." He said, accompanied by two other figures who had superhero type costumes.
"But let's make one thing clear-"
"You should have called." One of the figures accompanying the bat figure said, his arms crossed, showing how displeased he was.
"And results aside, we are not happy." The bat figure finished, his tone strict and unhappy.
"You hacked Justice League systems, disobeyed direct orders and endangered lives. You will not be doing this again." The bat figure narrowed his eyes, his tone final and dead serious.
"I am sorry but we will." One of the teenagers said, his voice showing his defiance.
"Aqualad, stand down." One of the two figures next to the bat figure said, his tone commanding and authoritative.
"Apologies, my king." Aqualad said, bending his head slightly and placing his right hand on his chest as a sign of respect and forgiveness.
"But no." Aqualad finished, prompting a raised eyebrow from the figure.
"We did good work here tonight, the work you trained us to do. Together, on our own, we forged something powerful, important." Aqualad stepped forward and said, his hands raised up in show of what he's talking about.
"If this is about your treatment at the hall, the four of you-"
"The six of us and it's not." Kid Flash interrupted, his gaze turning to Superboy and Power Girl who were obviously left out before turning to the adults.
"Batman, we're ready to use what you taught us...or why teach us at all?" Robin stepped forward and said, his hands raised as a gesture to support what he was saying.
"Why let them tell us what to do?" Superboy suddenly said, he stepped forward, expressing his discontent with the adults.
"It's simple, get on board or get out of the way." Superboy concluded.
"Agreed, it's either you're with us or against us. What will it be?" Power Girl said, her word's causing the other youngsters to turn to her before turning to the adults, indicating their acceptance of her word's.
The bat figure, now known as Batman, narrowed his eyes at her word's.
*BOOM*
Just when the situation was progressing at a bad turn, a loud boom suddenly echoed across the sky.
Something was making it's way to the planet.
Everybody looked up to the sky and saw something large heading straight for them.
"Move out!" Batman ordered as he jumped out of the trajectory of the large projectile, the other adults and teenagers making their way out too.
*BOOM*
The projectile crashed down to the ground, causing large destruction to the surroundings. It skidded across the ground, leaving a large trail before eventually stopping.
The adults quickly surrounded the projectile, watching it for any signs of attack.
Batman stood in front of the projectile, before typing something on his forearm.
"All remaining leaguer's, head to the Cadmus facility area. We might have a rogue alien amongst us." Batman said before turning off his communications.
"Don't get close to it, we don't know what could be inside it." Batman said, putting down any thoughts on the teenagers mind to approach it.
It didn't take long before Superman and the remaining leaguers who left to detain blockbuster, returned.
Superman landed next to Batman and looked towards the projectile that was still releasing smoke.
"This...seems to be familiar." Superman said, a hint of familiarity and confusion adorning his face.
"Familiar?" Batman asked, his eyes narrowed.
"Yes, though I can't seem to place my finger on it. Probably due to how damaged it seems." Superman said.
"Hmm, these needs further investigation." Batman pondered.
"Perhaps we should go check it out? We won't know anything if we just watch it from the side." Superman suggested.
Batman stared at the projectile that was finally clearing up, his thoughts unreadable.
"Go, but be careful. Get out and regroup with the rest of us if something comes up." Batman finally spoke.
Superman nodded before signaling other leaguers to enter with him.
The leaguers nodded and approached the projectile carefully.
*SWOOSH*
Suddenly, the top of the projectile opened up before a black blur rushed out to the sky.

Everyone immediately prepared themselves for an attack but were surprised by the person that came out.
The person had long bright crimson hair that looked really similar to blood.
He had blood red eyes and a small symbol on his forehead.
He had on a black armor with red symbols on it. The armor showed his lean but muscular build that promised absurd power behind it.
He had an extremely handsome face and a peaceful expression on his face.
The figure stood mid air with his arms spread open, basking in the glow of the moon.
His eyes were closed, seemingly enjoying the fresh air and moon.
His eye brows raised as if sensing something and he turned towards the people who were watching him with varying expressions on their faces.
He smirked when he saw their expressions and couldn't help but speak out loud with the same smirk still on his face.
"Who are you all?"

Yh, I know y'all been waiting for this so I hope y'all are excited for this.
I am, for sure. I've been waiting for this for a long time.
Now, I know y'all are mad at me for not posting for so long and I don't have any good excuse to say to you guys.
Lets just say I had a bad sense of time after I posted chapter 11.
The next day after I posted chapter 11, I had already written 2000 words, enough for a chapter.
Unfortunately, even if I had written over two thousand words, that wasn't enough for me to reach canon.
And since I promised y'all that this chapter was gonna be canon, I had to go along with it despite me not wanting to write another special chapter.
3000...5000...7000, I kept writing despite already reaching the level of a special chapter.
All because I wanted to keep my promise to you guys and thus, I kept writing.
8000...10000...12000, I didn't stop at all despite it becoming the chapter with the highest word count ever.
It was pretty frustrating, you had no idea how many times I just wanted to stop and post a chapter for you guys but since I was already late, I decided to just go along with it.
I was already late in posting my chapter so I might as well continue and keep my promise and I just kept writing.
No matter how insane the chapter got.
Anyways, that doesn't matter anymore. What matters is that I got this beautiful chapter out for you guys.

I'm happy y'all went there to read it so you can get to enjoy the best of the chapter but I don't really recommend doing that all the time.
The chapter on wattpad has a lot of mistakes like spelling errors. I try to keep it to the minimum but a lot still come up.
On webnovel, there's still one or two mistakes but it's severely lesser than the one on Wattpad. It also has several additions and changes on it to make it better.
That's why I recommend reading on webnovel than on wattpad. It's way better.
