"Erin! Erin wake up!" shouted Mom as she burst in the room.

"Oh my God mom. You scared me half to death!" groaned Erin. "... ughhh... anyway my alarm is set... why are you barging in here?"

"I don't want you to be late sweetie. There are croissants in the oven for breakfast. I have an early meeting, bye!"

said mom as she went downstairs in her DKNY suit and Louis Vuitton heels.

This woman and her expectations of me... it's exhausting.

Erin jumped out of bed and had a quick shower. She fixed her long brown hair into a bun and pulled out a couple of strands for that messy chic look.

She slapped on some make up quickly and brushed her teeth whilst pulling up her jeans.

8:30 I am going to be late! She knew that Jackson would be over any second to ride her to university.

She ran downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a croissant to stuff in her bag.

"Forgot to set your alarm again?" chuckled Gary.

Gary was Erin's stepdad. He was older than her mom by fourteen years but he was a nice guy. He raised Erin since she was nine. Before that Josephine Parker, Erin's mom was single after her divorce from Mr. Li Chen when Erin was just two years old.

"You should sit down and have a cup of tea," said Gary.

"Oh no thanks, no time... Jackson is waiting for me outside."

Erin shut the door behind her and swung her bag over her shoulder.

Sure enough there was Jackson waiting in his red Fiat.

"Hey honey" said Jackson as Erin got in the car.

He leaned in for a kiss and Erin gave him her cheek.

"Lipgloss!" she said in a cute musical tone.

"Let's go!" she gestured with her hands.

They listened to pop music on the way, it was a forty minute drive to the London School of Economics, were Erin had two years left of her degree. Erin was twenty years old and Jackson was twenty-three.

Jackson was tanned with sandy blonde hair, he had broad shoulders and a medium build. He wore glasses which highlighted his baby blue eyes.

Erin was tall and slim at five-foot seven, she had pale skin with lots of freckles and long loose wavy brown hair. Her eyes were a greenish hazel, she was a beauty. Probably because of being a mix of Chinese and English. Her figure was slim, long legs and a short torso.

Her bust was significantly big considering her slim physique.

"We are here" said Jackson, placing his hand on Erin's thigh.

"See you tonight?"he asked.

"Yes meet you at five at Starbucks"

Erin hopped out of the car and waved to him as she skipped away.

Her loose top clung in the wind showing her perfect figure.

Erin went straight to the first lecture.

When she walked into the hall she took a quick scan of the room looking for Andrea, her best friend.

"Psst..." waved Andrea from the eighth row up.

Erin bounced up the stairs quickly to join Andrea before Mr. Herbert entered the hall.

"Open at chapter thirty four!" he bellowed.

"We will continue our discussion from last time on the comparisons of the total..."

"Late again?" whispered Andrea.

"My bad," smirked Erin.

Erin broke her croissant in half under the desk and nudged Andrea.

"Yum.." Andrea sneakily stuffed the pastry into her mouth when Mr.Herbert's back was turned.

Erin multi-tasked writing notes with her left hand and secretly munching with her right. She was ambi-dexterous, and could use both left and right hands to write.

When the lecture was over everyone started hurrying down and out of the hall.

As Erin and Andrea were on their way out Mr.Herbert blocked their way.

"I need a word with Miss Parker-Chen in my office. You don't mind, Miss Labowitz?"

"No of course not," replied Andrea.

"I'll meet you in the courtyard" she said to Erin with a sorry look on her face.

"Erin widened her eyes and made the 'don't leave me' face but Andrea was already going.

They walked to Mr.Herberts office and he closed the door.

"Please sit down, Miss Parker."
