55 Chapter 55: Anahuac.

Sorry for not posting chapters during these days, I have 2 reasons, the first is that I was busy doing some schoolwork that came up (being that it's the beginning of the semester where I'm studying...damn it) and the second is that I kind of forgot to post what I already had prepared.

Yeah, that second one is my mistake and I'm really sorry, I'll pay more attention to that.

3rd POV

At Ciudad Del Anahuac Airport, we can see Ferdinand's plane land safely, then the door opens and the Imperial Guards that were there come out, then Ferdinand comes out with Tanya, who was using a fan to fan herself .....and Ferdinand.

"We should have gotten less uncomfortable clothes, I feel like I'm going to burn in this outfit" Tanya said as she waved the fan quickly at her before also waving it at Ferdinand.

"Yes, I admit it was my mistake, but we just need to look presentable for now, then we'll go to the Dacian Embassy and we can change into better clothes" Ferdinand said as you could see a little sweat on his neck, he had forgotten who was currently summering in what is the alternate version of Latin America.

While it was nothing compared to other places, it was still annoyingly hot for him, but it was a small price to pay to get to know the rest of the world and its cultures, a shame that the Russy Federation was under Communist control, if not he Could possibly pay a visit in the future.

Soon two cars had arrived at the airport, where out of one came some well-dressed men, who calmly walked up to Ferdinand before bowing respectfully to them and offering their hands for a shake, which Ferdinand accepted.

"Your Imperial Highness, welcome to Anahuac" Said the man, who was a politician sent by the President to greet Ferdinand and welcome him.

"The pleasure is mine, Gentleman" Said Ferdinand with his characteristic smile.

"Come with me, Your Imperial Highness, the President awaits you with a dignified reception at the Presidential Palace" The man said in the most respectful way possible, showing that he was simply a sycophant who was sent to please Ferdinand.

"Thank you" Ferdinand said before being guided with Tanya to the car that was waiting for them, with them getting in, the car then had its engines started before heading to the Presidential Palace, with a few cars later following them, being security cars, in addition to having the streets secured by the military and police.

Ferdinand and Tanya watched through the car windows what the architecture of Anahuac was like, with Ferdinand seeing that the architecture was almost the same as in Mexico, but he also saw some old buildings that looked Aztec or something like that still standing, with others having the same style of architecture but a little more "modern".

Their car continued going through certain streets that were protected before finally arriving at their objective, which was the Presidential Palace, where there were already some Army forces protecting the place, preventing anyone among the crowd from trying anything.

When they got out of the car, they were greeted by several flashes of camera lights, with Ferdinand and Tanya quickly giving fake smiles as they started to make their way to the entrance of the Presidential Palace, where President Rodrigo and the Cabinet were already waiting for him.

"Your Imperial Highness, welcome to Anahuac, I hope you enjoyed the landscape of Ciudad Del Anahuac so far" Rodrigo said with a smile on his face as he offered his hand for a shake, which Ferdinand accepted.

"It's a pleasure, Mr.President, I'll be honest, the landscape of Ciudad Del Anahuac almost took my breath away with the splendor of this beautiful place" Ferdinand said with a smile.

'Bullshit, he only liked the old buildings that are still standing, idiot' Tanya thought while she still had a fake smile on her face, but said nothing, knowing that it was all for the good of Diplomacy.

The search for any ally or beneficial agreements for the Imperium was becoming quite recurrent, which was to be expected, because while the Imperium had its own Sphere of Influence, it was still a newborn Empire, while it was recognized by the Powers, it needed to make agreements diplomatic and commercial efforts to ensure that everything they were creating would fail.

Not to mention National-Legionarism, which has become quite a topic of debate and several Democratic countries had shown some apprehension or hatred towards the Ideology that originated in Dacia, being at the same levels as Communism to them.

"Come with me, Your Imperial Highness" Rodrigo asks respectfully as he goes inside the Presidential Palace, with Ferdinand nodding his head and following close behind with Tanya.

When they entered the Presidential Palace, Ferdinand and Tanya could see that it was well protected, in addition to having some reporters and cameramen already ready and eagerly waiting for the first opportunity that might appear to interview Ferdinand and Rodrigo.

Ferdinand sighed internally when he saw this but continued with a smile on his face as he walked alongside President Rodrigo and Tanya.

'Ugh, here we go again' Tanya thinks angrily in her mind, but on the outside, she had an innocent and cute smile on her face, and she was following behind Ferdinand.
