13 FIND THE MOON GODDESS

When Davel woke up from his sleep this morning, he looked like someone who had just run a marathon when he carried his body to sit on the bed that was covered with white sheets.

The first night he slept in this new world, he dreamed about the conversation between him and the shadow of the Moon Goddess on the mysterious bridge that connected life and death right after he was slaughtered by hundreds of vicious vampires.

Running his hands through his white locks, he groaned in frustration. He was the only one in the room because his 'parents' had left the hospital last night, and he didn't even know what to do in this new world.

["So, you decided to do this job?" The shadow of the Moon Goddess asked a question after hearing the answer from the Werewolf King.

"I want to save humans and my kind in my world," the answer came from the King.

The silver-haired woman smiled at the werewolf's decision. "You do deserve the Goddess's trust. She believed that you would protect humans and your kind until your last breath, and I know that she's right."

It was a compliment, and Davel couldn't help but smile back because he didn't know how to respond.

"The barrier around the Full Moon Land won't last long, so you must bring the Moon Goddess back to your world before 100 days, Davel."

He even had a time limit, and Davel couldn't smile anymore when he heard the order. "I have to bring the Moon Goddess back to my world before 100 days? But, how can I find her in another world? Is her appearance still the same after reincarnation?"

"..."

Davel hoped his job wouldn't be too difficult because he wanted to return to his world as soon as possible. He expected the shadow of the Moon Goddess would say 'yes' to his final question, but to his dismay, the woman suddenly looked guilty as she continued to stare at him.

"Unfortunately, the Goddess's appearance is not the same anymore," the woman answered the question guiltily. "She has reincarnated twenty-eight years ago, and even I don't know about her new appearance."

"..." This time, it was Davel who couldn't find the words to answer the woman's explanation.

"But you don't need to worry, Davel," the silver-haired woman spoke again when she got no response from the werewolf. "The Goddess will still have one characteristic with her after she reincarnated, so you only need to find that characteristic to recognize her."]

His white locks became a mess as he kept assaulting them with his hands, but he didn't care. He had agreed to transmigrate to this world to find the Goddess, but he didn't even know what the Goddess looked like.

He didn't even know too much about this world and even only knew about himself last night when his 'parents' enlightened him a little.

["So, you are our son, and your name is Davel Clayton. You are 28 years old this year, and you are working as a top actor in this country. Apart from working as an actor, you also have your own entertainment company, and you work as the CEO there." ]

That was what he heard from his 'father' about a man named Davel Clayton, the owner of the body he was currently using.

Even if he didn't know what an actor was, and also didn't know what an entertainment company was, he guessed the two terms were a good thing because his 'father' spoke to him with a proud expression plastered on his face.

He transmigrated to a world that was completely different from his own. From the way people dressed, and also the way people lived their daily lives, everything was not the same as in his world.

He could also tell that there were only humans in this world, and he was also a human now.

Although he always liked to learn new things, he couldn't help but feel pessimistic about learning new things in this world. It wasn't that he was on vacation when he was free from his job as the Werewolf King, so he knew that he shouldn't be living his life in this world casually.

He still remembered how his 'parents' told him that he didn't have to worry about his life because his family had everything, but he couldn't relax because the Moon Goddess's shadow also told him that he had to live in this world as Davel Clayton while trying to find the Moon Goddess.

As such, he still had to learn about how humans lived their lives in his world if he didn't want humans to be suspicious of him. It was because the shadow of the Goddess had told him to keep his true identity a secret.

He had no other choice but to pretend that he was the top actor, Davel Clayton.

Still sitting on the hospital bed, he then turned to the door when there was a knock on the door from outside.

He was on guard because he expected a new person to come to visit him today, but he subconsciously heaved a sigh of relief when he saw a familiar smile greet him as the door opened.

It was the female doctor who helped him last night, and it was a surprise to see her this morning because, as far as he could remember, she was not the doctor who would be taking care of him in the hospital.

However, his question was answered when he saw someone else coming with the girl after the door was opened. That person was a young man with brown hair, and from the white clothes he was wearing, the man also looked like a doctor.

Davel was still frowning, but he couldn't escape when the two of them arrived near his hospital bed.

"Good morning, Mr. Clayton. I visited you this morning to introduce you to the doctor who will be in charge of you during your stay in this hospital."

The female doctor's gentle voice was like a soothing breeze in his ears, but Davel somehow didn't like the information the female doctor brought.
