I want to be wide awake for when he does so I can hopefully get it on camera and post it on social media.” “If he is going to kill you, then how can you post it.” “Well, that is going to be your job. I am going to send you where the phone is so you can post it for me.” Brianna said matter-of-factly. She turned around to look at her sick friend who was sitting in the bed, “How do I look?” She asked flashing a charming smile and dramatically flipped her hair. “If you are going to be dying… why does it matter about your appearance?” “Well, if this is going to be going on social media, then I am going to need my last impression worthwhile.” Silvia rolled her eyes, “Well, you look great Bri.” She yawned. “Now rest. Keep your phone on because when I send you the location, I am going to need you to wait for Jason and then go to the location to post the video.” Brianna explained and Silvia nodded her head. “Bye bestie.” Brianna said, turning around and walking out the door.

Old Friends

The car slowly came to a stop in front of her building. Outside there was a line of people ready for an interview. Brianna was kinda shocked when she noticed how many people were waiting for her outside. In Canada, there were never this many people.

Jason looked over at Brianna with a smile, "looks like we are here Miss Moody."

Brianna nodded, "yea, looks like that." She agreed.

She turned to look at him and out of nowhere; she leaned towards him and gave him a kiss before running out of the car. "Bye Mr Monopoly man!"

She caught him off guard when she kissed him. 'That was unexpected...' he thought.

Then Jason slid back the divider, and the car drove off when Silvia and Brianna disappeared into the building.

"Please go to the building quickly, I need to call someone." Jason relaxed in his seat and watched out the window.

With a nod, the car picked up some speed, and they soon arrived at Jason's company building.

*****

"Silvia, can you get me a coffee? Then we can start this meeting?" Brianna asked as the two girls walked towards the elevator.

"Yes, Miss Jameson." Silvia nodded and the two girls stepped inside the elevator.

Going up, Silvia stopped the elevator on the second floor and Brianna continued going up to the fifth floor where the interviews would take place.

In 30 minutes, Silvia came back up with Brianna's coffee. Brianna was already set up and ready for the interviews to start.

Silvia left to let the people in and told them all to sit in the waiting room outside of the actual interviewing room.

"First person is…" Silvia trailed off while she flipped through some papers in her hand to find the list of people that applied and got an interview.

Her eyes widened as she read the first name on the list.

[ABIGAIL LUCK]

"Oh, my goodness." She mumbled before looking up to see all the people in the room staring at her curiously.

Fixing her composer and clearing her throat, she announced, "Abigail Luck, please follow me."

With a nod, a chocolate brown female stood up and followed Silvia to the interviewing room.

Brianna's head was down as she was focused on writing when Silvia and the female that goes by the name Abigail came in.

Clearing her throat, Silvia announced their presence, "Miss Jameson, we have a very special guess here that had applied."

Brianna was confused, she didn't remember any special people on the list. Brianna looked up from her desk and her eyes almost popped out of her head when she saw the beautiful chocolate brown female standing at the door with a polite smile.

"Abigail? Is that you?" Questioned Brianna.

"Miss me, Bri."

"Oh my goodness, how long has it been?" Brianna asked with tears of joy running down her cheeks.

Abigail is Brianna's and Silvia's best friend from grade one. Unlike Brianna and Silvia, Abigail did not come from a rich background. Her mother was a janitor at their middle school, and her father was a plain old bartender. They didn't make billions like Brianna's and Silvia's parents did, but Abigail's parents made enough so they had a roof over their heads, food in their stomachs, and a safe place to sleep. Because Brianna and Silvia didn't want to go to a private school like most rich girls, their parents sent them to a small middle school out in the countryside, a middle school with less than 100 students. There, the three girls met.

They love each other and are pretty much sisters. Because of Abigail's skin color and her poor background, she got bullied often, but Brianna and Silvia were always there to stand up for her and treat her like family.

Five years ago, Abigail got a scholarship out of their home province. Of course Brianna and Silvia would not allow Abigail to reject such a thing, so the two girls did everything in their power to convince Abigail to go. After a few days, they were successful and Abigail left.

Now Abigail is a successful woman and attends public gatherings to spread her voice and word about black lives and how important they are. She went all over the globe to spread awareness. When she was in Los Angeles, she saw an advertisement about job applications for Brianna's company. Abigail was going to reject it, but once she saw the owner of the company, there was no way that she was going to turn it down.

The three girls were now mature and successful and also connected again after five torturous years of being separated.

Standing up from her desk, Brianna walked over to Abigail and gave her a big bear hug.

"Well, if I counted right… it's been five years now." Abigail answered the question while wiping Brianna's tears away. And mentally dying from Brianna's tight bear hug.

"You don't know how much we missed you Abigail, five years is too long." Silvia commented with a sweet smile while watching the two girls.

"Trust me, I know. It is lonely traveling the globe when you have no one by your side." Abigail added while trying to push Brianna off, "hey Bri baby, do you think you can let go. We just found each other again and I am too young to go underground."

Silvia chuckled, and Brianna nodded before letting go.

"I do have to thank you two for convincing to leave all those years ago. I have been doing stuff that I never imagined myself doing if I didn't go."

"Oooo, what have you been doing?" Asked Brianna while escorting her friend to a chair in front of her desk. She was eager to know what Abigail had been doing in her life since she left them.

"Well after college, I became an advocate for black lives and have been traveling around the world to spread my world and opinion. Hoping that people listened to me and wishing that the past doesn't repeat itself." Answered Abigail, sitting in the chair. "You guys?"

"Well, I have been working to spread my company across the globe." Brianna sat down in her chair.

"Well, you also got a boyfriend." Silvia added.

"What, Miss Jameson has herself a boyfriend! And I was there thinking she was les." Abigail joked but Brianna rolled her eyes.

"I know, who knew that the one and only Brianna Jameson would actually be straight." Commented Silvia, who was enjoying this.

"Okay Silvia, you can stop talking about my love life. Let me share that." Brianna complained.

"So, who's the lucky guy." Abigail asked, ignoring Brianna.

"Haven't you seen the news this morning? It's the one and only Jason Jay." Silvia answered in a whisper.

Abigail gasped, "The playboy!? He is so hot and cute. Bri baby, I'm jelly."

Brianna rolled her eyes, "oh shut it Abby. Let's get on with this interview. There are lots of people outside that are waiting patiently for their turns. I don't need them waiting too long."
