I want to be wide awake for when he does so I can hopefully get it on camera and post it on social media.” “If he is going to kill you, then how can you post it.” “Well, that is going to be your job. I am going to send you where the phone is so you can post it for me.” Brianna said matter-of-factly. She turned around to look at her sick friend who was sitting in the bed, “How do I look?” She asked flashing a charming smile and dramatically flipped her hair. “If you are going to be dying… why does it matter about your appearance?” “Well, if this is going to be going on social media, then I am going to need my last impression worthwhile.” Silvia rolled her eyes, “Well, you look great Bri.” She yawned. “Now rest. Keep your phone on because when I send you the location, I am going to need you to wait for Jason and then go to the location to post the video.” Brianna explained and Silvia nodded her head. “Bye bestie.” Brianna said, turning around and walking out the door.

Complicated

"Remind me to never get on your unpleasant side." Jason joked, "I don't want to be punched like Kaylynn."

She looked at him and raised an eyebrow, "who's Kaylynn?"

"She is the redhead that you punched. Honestly, she is an annoying brat. I played her once and ever since then, she had never stopped bothering me."

Brianna laughed at him, "first, my fist had no contact with her face, and second, that is what you get."

He rolled his eyes.

She smiled sweetly at him.

"You know, everyone in the room saw you punch her. But, hey! She deserves it, it's not like I'm going to call the cops on you."

"For the last time, I didn't punch her! My fist skimmed-" she emphasized on 'skimmed,' "her face, if I would have punched her, she would most likely be in the hospital." She admitted. "Now, if you don't stop talking about it, then I would be sure to put you in the hospital." She promised.

"Okay, okay, chill Bri baby." A smirk faded onto his face.

She looked at him with a glare. Mentally she is punching him one hundred times, physically, she is getting ready to punch him one hundred times. "We are not in that stupid ball, you don't have the rights to call me by my nickname."

He chuckled, "Aw, but I enjoy calling you Bri baby." He joked, "it's cute."

Brianna looked away as her cheeks turned a light shade of pink, "Just drive, I'm tired and want to change out of this wine filled dress."

He rolled his eyes and brought his mouth next to her ear, "is Bri baby blushing, how cute." He whispered in a deep husky voice.

"I said drive!"

"Okay, okay." He laughed as he leaned back in his seat, starting the car and driving off.

The sun was shining through Brianna's window in her new apartment. She had a white comforter covering her body and a white pillow over her head to block the sunlight from reaching her face. She wasn't ready to wake up. Not yet, anyway.

It had been a week since the ball, Brianna and Silvia now had their own apartment. It was big and roomy. The apartment building had a 5-star rating and fantastic reviews.

"Wake up!!!" Silvia yelled, ripping Brianna's blanket off of her. "This is our break and I want to go shopping."

The first floor in the building that they were working on was completely finished. Brianna gave everyone a one day break to show her appreciation for their hard work.

"Go away, Silvi, I want to sleep…" Brianna groaned.

"Bri baby… wake up." Silvia said in a complaint.

'Ugh, fine you annoying ass."

Brianna threw her pillow at her best friend before opening her eyes and sitting up.

Brianna was having a delightful dream, but Silvia had to ruin it by waking her up.

"Hey!" Silvia threw the pillow back at Brianna, who dodged and stood up, walking to her washroom.

When Brianna came out, she searched through her dresses for what clothes she should wear. She ended up picking a blood red crop top that just covered her bra. She found a pair of blue skinny jeans which looked good with the crop top she chose. After she worked on her hair, putting it up in a messy bun, she was too lazy to make it nicer.

"Ugh! Brianna, you take forever to get ready." Complained Silvia as Brianna walked out of the room, she was lying on the couch waiting for Brianna to be done.

Brianna rolled her eyes, "unlike you Silvi, I like to take pride in my appearance and not look like a mess… like you always do."

"Don't call me a mess! And I take pride in my appearance. Humph!" Silvia sat up, crossing her arms, her head turned away from Brianna.

"Are we going to go shopping or are you just going to throw a fit like a baby?" Brianna asked, clearly running out of patients.

There is a reason you wouldn't normally want to wake Brianna up for a non-important reason like this, you would normally get the bitch version of her, which is not friendly.

"I'm not going anywhere with a meanie like you."

"Then don't, I'm leaving." Brianna said, grabbing her purse and slamming the door behind her as she stomped out.

Silvia sat there and watched Brianna leave. She knew Brianna would be back soon, when she cools down. This wasn't the first time that they fought like this, Silvia was used to it.

It had been a while since Jason saw his 'fake' girlfriend. The last time was on the night of the ball, and that night didn't end on a pleasant note.

"And why had the finances been falling?" Asked Jason as he sat in his black leather office chair behind his dark brown oak desk, watching out of the wall sized window in his office, and looking down at the city of Los Angeles below him.

Theodore was standing in front of his desk, holding a pile of papers as he was shuffling through them. "I don't know sir." He responded honestly.

"Well, find the reason and fix the problem. It would be terrible if my company fell into a deep hole because of the problem. Now would it?"

"Yes sir, I will get right on to it." Theodore said with a bow before turning around and walking out of the room.

Jason turned to watch his assistant leave.

He sighed and closed his eyes, leaning back in the chair, relaxing. 'Being CEO is hard. ' he thought.

An hour later, Jason was sitting at his desk doing his work. The door to his office opened and a female around 5'5 walked in confidently.

"Hello, brother!" She exclaimed, "what are you doing." She sat in one of the white leather armchairs in front of his desk and peered over to look at what Jason was doing.

Jason raised his hand and pushed her away, "I'm doing work, Selena. Do you need anything?"

"Na, just bored." Selena admitted.

He rolled his eyes and looked up at her.

"Hey, how's your girlfriend? I haven't seen her since the ball. And I have to admit that she is pretty brave, no one will dare to talk to the Kingstons in such a way."

The mention of his girlfriend, he knew who she was talking about, "She had been busy with work." He answered and looked back down and went back to his work.

She nodded, "do you have her number? I would love to hang out with her and talk about you." She joked.

"I do, but she doesn't like it when I give it away to random people." He lied, truth be told… he didn't even think of asking for it.

"I'm hurt," Selena had a fake hurt face, "I am not some random person. I am the one and only Selena Jay." She smiled proudly, holding her head high.

"You seem pretty proud to be a Jay." He commented.

"I am, Jay's are the best." She said matter-of-factly.

He chuckled, shaking his head.

Jason and Selena have a close relationship with each other. Jason, being the older one, had always been there to support Selena and was there when Selena needed him the most.

"I know it, why don't you invite Brianna to dinner at our home. I'm sure that she would be more than pleased to join us, and I'm sure that daddy and mother would be more than happy to get to know her. After all, she might become a Jay."

He stopped writing and looked up at his sister, "what do you mean she might become a Jay?" He asked.

"Well, you do plan on marrying her… don't you?" Selena furrowed her eyebrows, "Don't you tell me you are planning on breaking the poor girl's heart."

Of course he didn't plan on breaking her heart, he would never do that to her. She might be the first girl that he caught feelings for, but he wasn't sure if it was real. He was also unsure if she also felt what he was feeling. 'Love is complicated,' he thought before talking, "No, we haven't made plans for marriage yet and no, I don't have plans to break her heart." He explained.

"Oh okay, well, still invite her for dinner." Selena suggested again.

"Fine, fine. I will ask her… but it might be a no because she is a very busy lady." He said. "Now leave and let me finish my work."

"Fine!" she said mockingly and then stood from the chair and closed the door behind her.

He was thinking about inviting her for dinner, but there was one problem… he had no way of contacting her.

He turned to his monitors to look at his CCTV that showed different parts of the mall. He saw a girl that had shoulder length chocolate brown hair, baby blue eyes and a light olive skin tone. He remembered seeing this girl hanging around Brianna the times that he saw her out and about. They also shared the same hotel room. These two must be good friends.

They couldn't be sisters. He doesn't remember Brianna mentioning another sister, and she said that her entire family lived somewhere else.

He was curious why Brianna wasn't with her. This was the first time that he saw them apart.

"Theodore." He said pressing a button on his desk, "Get the car ready, we are going to visit my mall."

"Yes, of course." Theodore said through the speaker.

Jason stood from his desk and walked out of the door from his office, taking the elevator to the first floor and left the building towards his car.

"That would be $10.56 ma'am."

Silvia nodded as a cute animal hoodie caught her attention. It was a dog, and the colours of the hoodie were a dark gray with mint green. "One second." she quickly ran to the hoodie, checking its size. She smiled as it was a size bigger than hers. Her favorite hoodies are the ones that are bigger than her. She took it off the rack and brought it back to the counter. "I would also like this" she said, showing the hoodie.

The cashier nodded and added it to the rest, "$15.99"

Silvia smiled and took her credit card out of her purse before tapping it on the debit machine. It took a minute before it was done and the cashier handed Silvia the receipt.

"Thank you for shopping at Forever 21, please come again." The cashier said as Silvia walked away with ten bags in her hands.

Silvia left to go shopping fifteen minutes after Brianna left her. Silvia went to a few shops going on a shopping spree.

Jason was just getting out of the car as he looked and saw Silvia leave the mall with bags in her hands.

He quickly ran up to her. By the time he got to her, he needed a minute to catch his breath. He just ran across the big parking lot in a suit and tie. "Excuse me, miss, may I get your name."

Silvia heard someone by her, and she turned to look. Her eyes sparkled when she noticed it was the one and only Jason Jay. "Jason Jay!" She exclaimed, almost dropping her bags. "My name is Silvia Harrison." She responded to his question.

He nodded, "okay Silvia, aren't you friend with Brianna Jameson?" He asked. She nodded in reply. "Do you have anyway to contact her? I need to ask her something."

She was a bit hurt when he asked for her friend's contact information and not hers. She knew how big of a player Jason was, but she didn't mind that. "Yes, I do, but why? She hates it when I give out her contact information. And anyway, it would be useless trying to get a hold of her. She is throwing a fit because I woke her up and she is not answering her phone to anyone."

"I don't care, just tell me to please, I promise I won't tell her you told me."

Silvia rolled her eyes, "Fine, her phone number is ***-***-****."

He nodded and typed the number into his phone. "Thank you." Then he looked up and looked at her bags, "Do you need a ride to your home?"

"I would love that. It would be easier than waiting for an Uber." She smiled happily at Jason's offer and followed him to his car.
