Do You Love Her

Alex and Isabella have been going out for the past weeks. During those weeks Alex was having a battle of brains and heart while Isabella was having a really hard time schemeing.

Alex was in his office.

KNOCK!! KNOCK !!

"Come in."

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!!" Mark shouted as he came in.

"Thanks" Alex said nonchalantly. He continued to read the document in his hand.

"I seriously can't believe you're working on your birthday.

"Believe it or not," he said nonchalantly.

"WHYYYY!!!!!!!" Mark said while sluggishly walking towards Alex.

"You and i know my parents are soon gonna call and tell me to come home, so i figured i get some work done before then."

"Pfffft ha ha ha ha ha ha, work ha ha ha ha g- g - g- get so - ha ha ha ha ha some w- w -w - work- ha ha ha ha ha get some work done ha ha ha very funny. Now come along, lets go." He said while pulling Alex, but Alex didn't budge.

"Moooooovvvvvvve" he said while trying his best to move him.

"Okay....ah.....thats it i'm going to go call your girlfriend, maybe she'll move you." He walked away and was counting down quietly.

"Wait !! i - i - i'll go," Alex said meekly while he was standing up.

Mark felt so victorious.

"Mua ha ha ha.....wait.... Is he really in love with this girl?" He thought.

On their way to the family mansion, Alex mother called.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! Come home now." She insisted.

"On my way."

"WOW!!!! This is the first time i didn't have to shout at you to come home."

"All thanks to me" Mark said loudly, so as Alex mother could hear his voice clearly.

"Is that Mark, thanks sweetie."

"Bye," he immediately ended the call. They sat in silence, for what felt to them like three hours. Out of the blue Mark spoke.

"Do you really love her? " Mark said while looking outside the window.

"Love who?" He notice Mark mood changed from jolly to sad.

Mark turned to Alex. Alex noticed Marks DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT FACE face.

"HER!!" Mark emphasized.

"Her who?" Alex was purposely acting dome to get back at Mark for what he did the last time.

" You knoow.....ah.....lovey dovey...ah....her....ah.....you should know what i mean."

"Ooooooh heeeerrrr" Alex said while giving that I KNOW WHO YOU MEAN. I WAS JUST ACTING DOME face.

"You.....gosh.....you purposely did that."

"Did what?" Alex smiled innocently."

"Don't give me that face. You know it deosn't work on me."

"Which face?"

"Ah.....you knoow...ah....your I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING innocent face.

"Did I give you that face?" He emphasized on the 'i'.

"YES YOU DID!!" he was really regreting acting dome the last time. If he had known.

"Are you sure?" He gave a mischievous smile.

"Okay, Lets not change the topic. You know the her i'm talking about. Right?"

"Yep."

"Do love her???"

Alex turned to window and stared before saying.

"I don't know," Mark was very sure Alex had lost every nook and granny of his brain cells.

"WHATT!!!!!!!ah...wait WHAT!!!!!! how can he NOT KNOW!!!! Ah.....wait, how did they become lovers if they don't know. If she forced him Alex will offcourse say no. I'll leave this mystery for another day right now, WE GOT A PROBLEM." he was reasoning and shouting in his head.

"Alex answer this questions."

"Do you always want to see her?"

"Yep."

"Do you always get butterflies at her slightest touch?"

"What do you mean by butterflies?"He air quoted.

"Ah...Seriously???You really don't know what butterflies are.....ah....okay.....Ummmmm RCS," Alex gave his WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU SAYING face.

"Ah...RCS....don't you read books??Don't even think of telling me you read educational books. RCS stands for Roller Coaster Syndrome. Its.....its the feeling you get in you stomach.....ah...the feeling you get in your tummy when she touches you."

"Ooooooh that, then yes."

" Wait, why are you the love doctor? You've never even fallen in love,"Alex asked.

"Lets just say....the're alot of things i'm still looking for ways to tell you."

"Oh my gosh. You're in love."

" Then how do you explain you not telling me everything. You're not the kind that keeps secrets, and you tell me everything except froooommmmm-"

"C'mon, Alex can we change the topic from me back to you?"

"Okay, okay. Sheesh."

"How will you feel if you see her crying?"

"I- i- i- i'll feel- i'll feel-"

"You'll feel, you'll feel," Mark gestured him to go on.

"I'll feel like killing whoever made her cry."

"Oh no he has fallen to deep, this going to be hard." He said inwardly."

"The first time you kissed her how did you feel?" Mark asked.

"I felt like i was on cloud nine, but when we parted i felt like i was falling down to hell."

"Okayyy, do you find yourself doing things you hardly ever do?"

"Yep"

"Liiiiiiike?"

"Telling her about my problems without her even probing. Telling her about my family and worst of them all, laughing out loud."

"Okay, that is pass boundaries. Firstly, i have to force you to tell me your problems and SHE doesn't? That is not good. Secondly, telling her about your family? I had to probe to know your family. Thirdly, laughing out loud? The only people in this world that makes you laugh is your brothers and i, meeen has she gone far.

"I know. Right?"

"Okayy, back to business. What if your girlfriend is a serial killer, and then one day she decided to tell you. What will you do or say?"

"Firstly, i'll tell her i don't care. Secondly, i'll hide every single evidence that could be found. And lastly, i'll kill anyone who finds out."

"WHAT!!!!! Seriously??? You just knew her like....last two weeks."

"Technically, it was last four weeks. I knew her before you saw her."

"Oh yeah."

"By the way, thats technically a month sooo....."

"Should i ask him if she turns him on? No, if i ask that and he says yes i may not be able to hide it anymore. I'll leave that question for never," he didn't want to expose IT, so he pushed that question away.

"Ehem, ehem," Alex coughed loudly to bring Mark out of his thoughts.

"Oooh sorry. Where were we?"

"What were you thinking about?"

"Nothing. Final question. Are you ready for this??"

"Yep," Mark took a deep breath before saying.

"DO YOU LOVE HER???"
