In a world turned upside down, Sarah navigates desolate streets echoing with a chilling police warning that has become all too common. Her reality seems like something out of a surreal television program, and she finds solace in memories of vibrant celebrations that once graced the city.
Her journey leads her to a courthouse, an unusual destination for her, but she's drawn by the promise of the first tribunal for a person who's caused her immense suffering. As Sarah waits in anticipation, a convoy of mysterious vehicles arrives, signalling a government in desperate straits.
Sarah's thoughts drift back to her childhood, and a memory resurfaces-of a man entering the courthouse and a young Sarah vowing to protect him from unjust imprisonment. However, her sense of justice is tested when a beautifully-dressed woman disrupts the proceedings in a shocking display of levitation.
As the tribunal unfolds, Sarah is swept up in the crowd's fervour. But the cheers turn to screams, and her worst fears are realized when a horrifying sight unfolds: the crowd suspended mid-air, victims of a telekinetic force wielded by what she can only describe as a cowardly demon.
