#1 The Accident

It was a normal day. I was at home working on my homeworks, when I got a call. I didn't know who it was but I answered. " Hello, is this Miss Melodie Tong ? " this voice asked me politely. "Yes , that's me. Who am I talking to?" I asked. " my name is Johnson. I had a car accident and the other car was from your parents. We are at the hospital. I'll send you the address. Your parents are in badly hurt."

"Wait what? That can't be. I'll be there immediately"

I took my coat and my bag called a cab and rushed to the hospital.

As I arrived I saw a tall man who was wearing a black suit and a withe shirt he seemed to recognise me somehow. He came directly to my direction and asked." Miss Tong ?"

" Yes " I answered shorty.

"please follow me, Miss" he told me what happened. How my dad was drunk. And that he drove the car and it got to an accident. "What did the doctor say" I asked " Well the doctor isn't out yet. Mr. Johnson will tell you more details."

So this man was not the man I was talking to on the phone? " Miss, this way please" that man said. " You are... ?" I got curious. " Oh I totally forgot, I am Mr. Johnson's assistant. Harly my name. You seem to be quite young." "Yes I am 18 years old." No answer. Mr. Harly didn't say a word while we were on the way to my parents.

We arrived in front of the rooms where my parents were in. " Are you the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tong?" a man asked me. "Yes that's me. you must be Mr. Johnson, right ?"

( I knew that it was him, because he is a business man. A man who owns the top three hotels in this country and a real big agency.(Like where actors and actresses sign in.) I held my hand to greet him. He replied with a nod and shakes hands. He seemed to be injured too. His head had a bandaid.

A boy came running. He seemed to be familiar with Mr. Johnson." Dad, what is going on?" Oh. So this is his son. At the same time the doctor came out. "Is the daughter present?" " Yes. I am here." " The situation seems serious. Your parents could die."

My tears came out. I did know that they were injured, but I didn't know that it'd be that serious. " No, they are all right. I know that." all thou, I knew the doctor wouldn't lie. I wouldn't accept it. " Miss Tong your parents want to tell you something important.I think we should listen to them, " the doctor said. " This way Miss. " I followed the doctor with tears in my eyes. Almost crying out loud. There they were bothe lying on different bad with there eyes closed. " Mom, Dad."

I said while trying to hold back my tears. Dad reached his hand out and I took it immediately. "Oh my daughter, I know it's hard to accept. but you have to go through it. I have no long time to tell you everything what happened, all you need to know for now is that you have to be strong. I know there is nobody who's going to help you. You'll have to find a way on your own. This is the last thing I can say goodbye," That's all what my dad could say. " Oh child, you have to take care of your own from now. We will go but we will be always in your heart." These were the only words my parents would tell me. They were gone now, asleep forever. and they would never wake up again.
