Base Universe Notes and Notes about You, the Reader

Unlike many other stories loosely inspired by the likes of Skeleton Squatters and the Landlady by Tyrant_Tortoise on Archive Of Our Own, the reader, which is you, are not from this universe at all- not even a variant. To clarify, your home is a sort of mix between conventional fantasy and modern city life, or otherwise considered modern fantasy.

You come from a family of seven, including yourself. You have four parents, two "fathers", and two "mothers". Technically, only two of them are parents, since "father" Aron is androphilic, and "mother" Maria isn't married to your birth father or carrier of any of the children. Your birth father, of the last name Baker, is a common Fighter type adventurer, and also retired magekiller. Aron, of the last name Rodriguez, is a wrestler/bouncer, known for his physical strength. Maria Summer Lewis is a fashionista and model, while your birth mother, Linda Hill, is a regular stay-at-home wife. Your younger brother, Michael Baker-Rodriguez, was mostly raised by Aron, hence him taking Aron's last name. Your younger sister, Lisa Hill, was born with the influence of the Fae, giving her prophetic visions at the expense of her health.

Your birth father, due to his career, decided to train you and your brother in basic fighting and magic. He offered the standard training sword types, of which you took the gladius and Michael the shortsword.

SOUL strength is measured by MP, and TRAITs are acquired through life. Typically children have less, creating a mostly monochrome, single TRAIT SOUL. Yes, parents tend to pass on their TRAITs to their children, though more by nurture than nature. You have a predominantly KIND SOUL, with the point BRAVERY. Your birth father is a BRAVERY-INTEGRITY SOUL, Aron BRAVERY, Maria INTEGRITY, and Linda KINDNESS. Lisa, like Linda, is a pure KINDNESS SOUL, while Michael is a BRAVERY SOUL like Aron.
