Chapter 23
It has been an hour since the wedding reception started and both the newly-wedded couple entered the hall. Everyone is currently eating at their table while both Elise and Hideaki go around the tables to greet their guest. Everyone happily congratulated them, by the time they are done going around, Elise and her husband went back to their table to eat their food.
Meanwhile, at another table that is located in the center, Trisha and her cousin Yuki were both enjoying the happy occasion. Yuki kept on looking at the front table where Ethan and Ken were sitting. He kept on thinking of how will he be able to get close to Ken, the only Alpha he wanted to be his lover.
"Are you thinking of methods on how to seduce him?" Trisha saw how much her cousin stares at Ken that she decided to tease him.
"what? No! I…I" Yuki got flustered when he heard what his cousin just said. Although he is not thinking of a way to seduce Ken rather he is thinking if he has the chance of snatching Ken away from Ethan. Seeing how intimate the two are from where he is sitting. Ken had been close to Ethan ever since the celebration started, he felt that he has zero chance of having the man that he loves.
"I know, I'm just teasing you but I know what you are thinking and I think you should believe in yourself. He will be yours so don't worry, Elise would help you out and when that opportunity came make sure to grab it, alright?" Trisha already talked to Elise, and during their talk, she got to know the real plan of Elise towards her brother. That is why she wanted to boost the confidence of her cousin, she will help him too as long as it will make Ethan suffer.
"I hope so," said Yuki as he looks again towards the direction of Ken and Ethan. There he saw Ethan talking to another man while Ken kept his hand locked in with Ethan's hand. He felt a sting in his heart when he saw them holding hands together as if they were afraid to let go of the other. Yuki decided to look away and just drink his champagne.
During that moment at the front table of the bride's family, Ethan is currently talking to his cousin Yasuhiro. Yasuhiro wasn't able to attend the wedding ceremony due to a sudden meeting in the company that is why he just attended the wedding reception where his wife and daughter were waiting for him to arrive.
"Ethan, did you also apply to this university?" asked Yasuhiro to Ethan as he shows something from his phone.
"Yes, I did. Why do you ask?" Ethan remembers that one of the universities that he had applied was the one that Yasuhiro was showing to him but he still doesn't know why his cousin is asking him that.
"well, remember Mr. Smith? The one who came together with Allen last time in my house?"
"yes, what about him?"
"well, Allen called me last night and told me that the younger brother of Mr. Smith is also going to attend that university as an online student of Business Management as well. So it is most likely you two would get to know each other there"
"I see, but I haven't made a decision yet unto where I should study but if I did get accepted in that university then I would choose that."
"Great! Let me know if you pass and decided to attend that school so that I will ask Allen to introduce you to Mr. Smith's brother before your classes start. Ok?"
"Alright! Thanks, brother Yasuhiro. I- aw! Hey Ken, you're grip is too tight" Ethan felt the sudden tightness in his hand that is currently locked on with Ken's.
"ah! sorry, princess, Just that I got a little jealous that you are talking about a guy that I do not know who he is and right in front of me too" said the now pouting Ken.
"HAHAHA!! Ken don't worry, Mr. Smith is just someone who would someday become a business partner of Ethan when he is the one running the Go Corporation. Also, Allen is my best friend who lives in country A, He is already married too and those two just visited the country to look around and see if Mr. Smith would establish his business here. So don't get jealous of them and if you are worried about the brother of Mr. Smith getting close to Ethan, don't worry they won't even meet in person since that boy is in country A while Ethan is here. They will just be friends that will attend the same course in that university." Yasuhiro finds it quite amusing seeing the jealous look on Ken's face. He is aware of how easily Ethan's lover got jealous so he knew that if he talks to Ethan about another man Ken would immediately get jealous, and he did so it was great entertainment for Yasuhiro.
"I see, sorry princess. You know I love you so much that I got jealous over that." Ken looks like a pitiful puppy that just got scolded.
"*giggle* I know that my love, and I love you too so don't worry about it anymore. Remember I am yours forever and I can't imagine myself being with someone else other than you. So you don't have to get jealous" Said Ethan as he faces his lover to give him a peck on the lips which made Ken smile.
"I know princess and I am yours forever as well. I also can't imagine being together with someone other than you too." Ken just felt so happy that he kisses Ethan in front of his family. The whole family of Ethan that is sitting with them at the table just smiled as they saw how sweet the couple are. The wedding of Elise and the happiness of Ethan were what they only wished for. This is like whatever happened in the past when they are still children never happened and that made their paternal and maternal grandparents feel so much joy.
"aw, Ethan do you and Ken have any plans of getting married any time soon?" grandma Aoki can no longer take it and just asked the question that is on her mind.
"someday grandma, but not anytime soon yet" answered Ethan as he looked at Ken with loving eyes.
"But we already planned that I will be marking Ethan during his next heat that way the only thing that is missing is our wedding and I want to give Ethan the best wedding of our lives" Ken knew that their relationship had been accepted by the whole family of Ethan and it is understandable that letting them know that he will mark Ethan means that he loves him so much.
"I see, our only hope is that you will make our grandson happy and don't make him cry. Alright? Once you two have bonded you will be together forever and betrayal would only bring pain towards the omega so I hope you will never betray him" said grandma Go. Being an Omega herself, she knew a lot of her friends who are bonded but were betrayed and abandoned by their Alpha. She saw how much pain her friend had to go through until they hurt themselves and more particularly the mark of her Alpha. She is afraid that his grandson would go through that pain as well and if Ethan did, she doesn't know what she will do to Ken.
