DO YOU WORK OUT?

After the lessons were over, a majestic bell, reminiscent of those heard in royal palaces, rang out, capturing the attention of all the students. Curiosity piqued, Barbara decided to follow the crowd, her curiosity leading her to an enormous door adorned with shimmering crystals that resembled pure gold. As the students gathered in anticipation, the grand door slowly swung open, revealing a sight that left Barbara awestruck.

Before her stood the cafeteria, a place that surpassed her wildest imagination. It radiated an air of elegance and sophistication, rivaling even the most luxurious five-star restaurants. Each table was adorned with vibrant flowers, adding a touch of natural beauty to the already stunning ambiance.

But it wasn't just the visual spectacle that captivated Barbara. The tantalizing aroma that wafted through the air was unlike anything she had experienced in her previous school. It was as if she had been transported to a realm of culinary delights, a place that could only be described as heaven on earth.

It was announced by the head chef for the students to place their orders on the phone given to them by the school. Barbara had not been given a phone yet. So she went to the head chef to get her food manually. She got just Chicken and chips with a chocolate bar because she felt bad for not paying for the food.

When she was getting her food, a girl came to her. She was a true masterpiece, adorned with her sapphire eyes that sparkled like precious gemstones. Her hair a symphony of different shades of brown. Her lips delicately shaped like Cupid's bow, were painted in soft shades of pink, inviting admiration with every word she spoke. But it wasn't just her features that was captivating, it is the way she carries herself, like a princess from a fairy tale, with the expensive looking jewelry and makeup that enhanced her natural beauty. She was the vision of grace and allure, a living embodiment of enchantment.

"Hey there, you must be Barbara Adams. My name is Amelia Jones, it's my pleasure to meet you, I'm in your class. I loved how you spoke so boldly and shunned that big mouth Felix earlier". Amelia said with a smile. Barbara smiled awkwardly back at her. Amelia's phone vibrated and she excused herself. Barbara was glad that she left her alone, before she could celebrate her loneliness, she spotted Joel. He has been annoying her all day, there was no way she could escape this time. She walked really fast until she saw a vacant table. Barbara then looked at him from a distance, she hasn't quite looked at him well.

His face exudes confidence and magnetism, with chiseled features that makes heads turn wherever he goes. His piercing emerald eyes, holds a captivating intensity that can draw any girl in. A strong jawline, looked like they have been perfectly sculpted by the gods of good looks, adds an air of masculinity to his overall appeal, his hair was raven black and it was in a mess, the kind of mess that made him look perfect. He spotted her and came closer and smiled, revealing a set of pearly white teeth that shine like stars in the night sky. With every glance, he leaves a lasting impression, a true embodiment of what it means to be irresistibly attractive.

Barbara's eyes was drawn to Joel's confident gaze and the playful smirk that danced on his face as he came closer to her.     "Hey Miss Barbara, I saw you staring at me. Can I join you on this table?" Joel asked teasingly, Barbara shook her head in denial. He leaned close to her.

"It's not like you have a choice Miss, it looks like all the seats are taken." Joel said smiling. At this point, Barbara already knows that he had planned all the situations where they had to be together, but she couldn't say anything at that moment because her mouth was full. She just rolled her eyes and continued eating, but she couldn't help but think how someone as hot as himself would be the hall monitor, in her previous schools, the Hall monitors are usually the nerdy kind of guys that are given ugly vibes. But Joel was the exact opposite.

                         JOEL'S POV

                        --------------------

As the lunch bell rang, the cafeteria buzzed with excitement. I scanned the room, searching for Barbara amidst the crowd. My attention briefly wavered as "the boys" caught my eye, but I quickly refocused on finding her. It felt like a game of hide-and-seek as I looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of those enchanting brown eyes. Finally, our gazes met, I made my way towards her, determined to strike up a conversation. As I approached, I couldn't help but notice how adorable she looked, her cheeks slightly flushed from the excitement of the lunchtime rush. She took a bite of her food, and even with her mouth full, she managed to exude an undeniable charm. It was a moment I couldn't help but find endearing.

'Barbara, the brown-skinned beauty, had a distinct brown eyes that sparkled with warmth and depth. She had perfectly arched eyebrows, with flattery eyelashes. She had freckles that ran from her nose to her cheeks. Her curly brown hair was expertly styled into two trendy buns, like Barbie dolls, adding a playful and stylish touch to her overall look. With every step she took, her bouncy curls swayed with confidence, showcasing her independent personality. Barbara's distinct features, from her mesmerizing eyes to her fabulous hairstyle, made her stand out in a crowd and exude a sense of individuality. She was a true vision of beauty, inside and out.' I thought looking at her every detail. But I didn't feel romantically attracted to her, I just want to be her friend.

"Hey Miss Barbara, I saw you staring at me. Can I join this table?" I asked her teasingly, thinking that would flutter her. But she shook her head in denial. To be honest, I felt a little bit hurt, no girl has ever denied me. So I leaned close to her and told her that, this was the only vacant sit left and she didn't have a choice. I saw her rolled her eyes and I chuckled a little bit. Then after a while, I felt her gaze on me

                            WRITER'S POV

                            -------------------------

Barbara's curiousity took the better of her, so she decides to steal a glance of his face. The first thing she noticed was his lips, it has shades of pink and it was moist, he obviously applied balm or something. She looks down to his neck, she concentrates on his Adam's apple moving to and fro as he was swallowing his food. Barbara eyes went his chest. He had opened three buttons and didn't wear the tie of his uniform, so she could easily see his bare chest they looked like they were chiseled. She just noticed that she was the only one not wearing the uniform of the school, it was hard to notice because the students of Sugar Hill Academy, wore their uniforms anyhow they feel is suitable for them.

"Do you work out?". Barbara could not believe that she said it out loud, she was just thinking of it and she didn't know why she asked that, or how that came out of her mouth. Joel raised an eyebrow, and nodded his head.

"Why did you ask? Are you attracted to me or something?" Joel asked teasingly. Barbara shakes her head in disgust but couldn't help but feel embarrassed. She rushed her food and excused herself.

"Before you leave, why haven't you gotten your uniform yet?." Joe asked inquisitively, because she wore a long sleeve blue top, a black belt to hold her ocean blue flea skirt that could show her thigh, in other not to be too revealing, she wore a black thigh long sock and a blue and black canvas. Barbara just said three words 'way too big', and she left.
