20 《Birthday party》

Seri's birthday is the next day.

My classmates in the room were discussing Seri's upcoming birthday party.

"Do you want to come?"

"I'm undecided about what to wear."

As Ma'am Vein entered the room, the room fell silent. Vyrie informed me that she is unable to attend school today due to a high fever, so I intend to pay her a visit later.

"Mrs. Valiente!" exclaims the narrator.

I was flabbergasted when Ma'am Vein abruptly summoned me, and now I realize I had been staring out the window.

"I've been trying to reach you! Are you paying attention in class?"

I was stunned, Ma'am, I said."Y-yes Ma'm.

"What is the definition of science? How does it pertain to everyday life?" She asked.

I stood up and answered her question confidently. "S-science helps us understand our natural world. O-our lives are strongly dependent on knowledge that we gain from studying various scientific disciplines. And there are various disciplines in science. S-some of the major disciplines are biology, chemistry, and physics. Each discipline tries to understand various aspects of our world."

'Wow"

"She's really good."

"Indeed, you may now take a seat," she said.

Ma'am went on with her conversation until it was finished.

It was time for lunch break when Belle rang.

"I expect you to attend tomorrow for my birthday" while walking I looked at my side when seri suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"Uhm," I said as we walked into the cafeteria together.

The particular day.

For simplicity and cost savings, I thought the best costume to wear would be a 'White lady costume.' I wore a white gown and powdered my face to make it look even whiter. I also painted my face with fake blood to make myself look like a real white lady.

When I got down, mom said, "It's not Halloween yet, why are you acting so strange?"

"Mom, I'm wearing this because the party I'm going to is themed around Halloween."

Mom helped me get out of the house and into a taxi, and when the taxi came to a stop, I said my goodbyes to her. "Holy shit!" When I got into his taxi, the driver was taken aback. I was embarrassed and said, "I'm sorry sir, I'm wearing a costume." I had already told him where I was going. We arrived quickly because it was pretty close. I exited the taxi and paid the driver.

"Next time, wear a nice costume and don't startle people," the driver advised.

"Hehehe" I can't respond to what he said because I'm embarrassed of how I look.

I double-checked the address on the invitation card to make sure I had it right.

P.S. The party was held in the pool, so the entrance is at the back of the house.

I walked up to their house and saw that their gate was open, so I went inside. The size and beauty of their home astounded me. I noticed guards in front of their main door, but I didn't go because the invitation stated that the party would be held in the back. I assumed there were guards stationed outside their house to keep an eye on the front while they were hosting a party inside.

I heard loud music and saw a door when I went to the back of their house. I looked at myself on the screen of my phone before entering. I checked my face for any remaining blood and it had not been removed. I sighed as I walked through the door. I thought it was the event when I first opened it, but it wasn't. Their large kitchen welcomed me in. Perhaps there is another option. When I entered the kitchen, I was greeted by a large amount of food. Because it was wide, I kept walking straight until...

"Can you tell me who you are?" I abruptly turned to face the man behind me who was already speaking.

"Waaa! white lady!" When the guard saw me, he sat on the floor, terrified.

"I'm not a ghost!" says the narrator. I yelled at him and chased after him as he ran.

Two guards stood in front of me, blocking my path and grabbing my hand. "What are your credentials?" "How did you end up here?" He inquired.

"I've been invited to this party," I replied. I handed him the invitation card that I had taken from my bag. "It was given to me by the birthday girl," I added. He examined it from all sides, including the back and front. I was surprised when he said, "This is a fake invitation card."

"Just leave and don't bother," They grabbed my hand and pushed me away, but when I kicked them, they let go of my hand.

"AAAHH"

"Come back here," they shouted.

I ran until I came to a stop at a door, which I quickly opened and walked through. When the vase on the door's side broke, I was nervous. I held up a trembling hand and said, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

When I heard a noise nearby, I picked up the broken vase I'd broken.

"who is she?"

"Oh, my god, take a look at her," says the guest

"She showed up at the wrong party," says the people near me

Wasn't it supposed to be a Halloween theme?

I got to my feet and faced them, embarrassed. I blinked a few times to make sure I'd arrived at the right party, but Seri was dressed up a gown, and her guests were casual dressed up.

My tears flowed when I saw Seri laughing with Seira, Xeia and Serenity.

"Wait, is that Maxx?"

"What the fck is she wearing"

"Is she truly insane?"

"Gosh, she's so humiliating."

Two guards chasing me entered through the door where I came in.
