10 Chapter 9

May's POV

This time around, We all enter together as a family. We approach Stacy's desk. Mom goes straight to the point without wasting anytime with greetings and such. " I was called in again earlier to come back to the station and see if I can identify the suspect arrested."

Taking the hint that this is not time for too much talk Stacy goes straight to the point also. "Yes, I was the person that called. The sheriff is the one in charge of this case. He will be here soon to attend to you. Please take a seat."

Fortunately for us we didn't have to wait long before the Sheriff came.

"Mrs Brooke, how are you?" He greets Mom with a handshake.

"Sheriff, I have been better but I give God the glory. Its been a while Cole but you don't really have to call me by my last name. These are my children." She says and introduces us individually.
