You're Courting Death!

Co-Posted on Scribblehub under the same name. Crappy Synopsis Below..... It was a bright sunny day when it happened..... When Yun Xie arrived in that other world. A world of flying cultivators and ancient ruins. A world, unlike any other... The one where the Dark Crow flew across the Nine Realms, and that one filled with more young masters than you could count. Where cliche tropes were a new reality, and no one had a inch of common sense or logic. Good thing he brought with him some overpowered (Albeit a bit cringy) cheats. It would be good fun. Some parts are sort of copy and paste, I really can't do much about it because I want the MC to be part of the main storyline, as that is fun..... If you wanna get to the actual story, go to volume 2. Update: When I feel like it.... Disclaimer: For the most part, many of the characters and such don't belong to me, besides OC''s and such. I can't write these types of stories...... A haven for Plot Holes......

Chapter 6

5 minutes later...

Li Qi Ye and Yun Xie made their way up the main peak, walking behind one of the guards, who had a strange expression on his face.

Having some random mortal suddenly want to become the Prime Disciple was not a daily occurrence.

They walked up the stone steps, Yun Xie looking around in curiosity.

Unlike Li Qi Ye, who was suited for this stuff, Yun Xie was an ordinary, albeit a little inhuman mortal…

It truly was something straight out of a novel….

Suddenly, Yun Xie suddenly got a peculiar idea...

They soon entered a large temple-esque building. The main sect hall no doubt.

In front of them, sitting in a row of wooden chairs, were the elders.

Besides two, all of them had these flowing white beards and mustaches. A typical trait among elders apparently.

"The order?" One of the elders spoke, his mustache flapping weirdly.

Li Qi Ye smiled nostalgically, revealing the small plaque to the six old men.

From what Yun Xie could remember, Li Qi Ye had created these Orders and sent them to different people for some reason.

The only things Yun Xie remembered, was part of the first few chapters, the Necropolis part and some of the more interesting realms.

"Where is that disgrace, San Gui Ye?" The first elder spoke coldly, obviously showing his distaste for the degenerate.

They continued speaking, Li Qi Ye being his normal arrogant self, while Yun Xie looking around the pretty majestic looking building in excitement.

Though "Emperor's Domination" was a good novel, sometimes, he would skip the parts where Li Qi Ye was over arrogant. They say that arrogance is not arrogance if you have the ability to back your words, but it can still be pretty irritating.

"Truly unbelievable!" Yun Xie was woken out of his stupor, as one of the Elders ground his teeth.

He turned back over, adjusting the sleeves of his robes.

"Woah, that sorta scared me..." Yun Xie sighed.

"Who are you anyway!?" The annoyed Elder snapped at Yun Xie.

"The name is.... Ace D. Portogas…."

Smiling, Yun Xie stepped forwards relaxedly.

The elders narrowed their eyes.

"I'm just here….. Because, well, I have nothing better to do." Yun Xie smiled sheepishly, raising his hands in the air.

Li QI Ye looked over, smiling. This guy was, out of the many people he had met throughout his travels, pretty weird, was Yun Xie even his real name? This gave him a good impression of Yun Xie for some reason.

"Ack Er Di Pa Zuo Ya…?" The elders could not pronounce the words at all. Li Qi Ye snickered a little. Well, he probably could not pronounce it either. Though he was quite old, mentally, the pronunciation was not really that big of a deal, unless it was for some spell or other things….

"Close enough…. I just met this weird dude," Yun Xie pointed at Li Qi Ye "and he seemed quite interesting, so I'll stick around for a little…."

The Elders were speechless. Just by looking at the guy, they could tell he was a mortal, but this kid was completely nonchalant in front of them…..

They did not dwell on it anymore, so Elder Cao began talking to Li Qi Ye once again, and Yun Xie was forgotten.

Later...

Li Qi Ye whispered, "Serpent Punishing Stick".

"So do you actually use it to punish snakes, or is it just another long, cliche name?" Yun Xie sat on a random broken pillar, speaking to Li Qi Ye.

Li Qi Ye smiled nostalgically, "This stick originates from a branch of the Ghost Tree's branches. Long ago, it was used to discipline the Immortal Emperor Min Ren…."

"I honestly don't care how you know all this stuff, if it's interesting, that's enough for me…." Yun Xie smiled, getting up.

Li Qi Ye looked up, at the tall boy. It was actually quite refreshing, having someone not really care as to why, and what benefits would be had, but instead, out of curiosity and fascination.

"You will probably go far in life…." Li Qi Ye spoke sincerely, nodding to the kid.

Well, it looked sort of weird, a thirteen-year-old acting like a sage in front of a teen.

One of the reasons Yun Xie wanted to make friends with Li Qi Ye, besides him being the main character and such, his personality was actually pretty mellow at times.

He was also a knowledgeable guy, and listening to his stories would be satisfying and fun, after all, a man who had lived for millennials would have many a story to tell right?

But something else was that he wanted to try to completely stump Li Qi Ye. Unlike cultivation novels, with all their so-called "limitations" and such, the world of Anime and Manga was bountiful and full of hilarious things.

Wouldn't it be funny to suddenly bring back thousands of ancient cultivators from the dead to fight for Yun Xie? What about using a Serious Punch and completely obliterating worlds? There were an infinite amount of possibilities, even more than minecr- Whatever.
