You're Courting Death!

Co-Posted on Scribblehub under the same name. Crappy Synopsis Below..... It was a bright sunny day when it happened..... When Yun Xie arrived in that other world. A world of flying cultivators and ancient ruins. A world, unlike any other... The one where the Dark Crow flew across the Nine Realms, and that one filled with more young masters than you could count. Where cliche tropes were a new reality, and no one had a inch of common sense or logic. Good thing he brought with him some overpowered (Albeit a bit cringy) cheats. It would be good fun. Some parts are sort of copy and paste, I really can't do much about it because I want the MC to be part of the main storyline, as that is fun..... If you wanna get to the actual story, go to volume 2. Update: When I feel like it.... Disclaimer: For the most part, many of the characters and such don't belong to me, besides OC''s and such. I can't write these types of stories...... A haven for Plot Holes......

Chapter 32

Suddenly, next to Yun Xie, a glowing golden portal appeared by his right hand, akin to a ripple. Out of it, came a large sword. A nichirin katana.

It was beautiful to the beholder, a bandaged white handle with an orange flame-like hilt. The sheath was a patterned ornamental white, with orange ends. Slowly unsheathing the sword, Yun Xie examined it, the blade was dazzling, shining yet dark metal with its side seemingly glowing, as if on fire. On the side, Li Qi Ye's eyes widened, looking at the words engraved on its side. Some he could understand, but most were unfamiliar characters. The bladesmith must have been filled with hatred, and hope. Akki Messatsu. Destroyer of Demons.

But this time, it would not be slaying Demons, but instead, a bunch of greedy sinful losers.

Resheathing it, Yun Xie opened one of the windows, blasting off in a stream of fire towards the Entrance Gate, where the giant battleship was located. He stepped on the air, ripples of fire sending shockwaves down below. After a few seconds, he landed on a tall adobe roof, looking up at the ship, flames igniting alongside his robes.

Everything was in place. Sort of. The sound of bells echoed through the sect, symboling that the enemy was attacking. Elders shot through the air, while some disciples fled or grouped up.

Then, the whole original canon scene played out, with "Cao Xiong" pretending to be such a righteous dude and fighting Lian Something Shou. Of course, it was a triple cross of sorts, as both of the sects believed that Cao Xiong was on their side... Pretty funny.

As the flashy fight continued on, Yun Xie watched, sipping some more Mellow Cola. The fizzy wonderful drink really quenched one's thirst, and was good for watching cheesy xianxia fights…

The battle continued on for a few hours, at a stalemate. The First Elder and the War dude couldn't seem to kill each other. Yun Xie crouched there on a roof tile, watching as the battle went on for a while before looking back down at the charging soldiers and smiling. This would do.

Due to having two inside men, Cao Xiong and Dong Sheng Long, he had gotten the Lian Tie Shou or whatever guy to amp up the troops he would bring, making the invasion more praiseworthy, intense, and most of all, for him at least. Fun.

Breathing in the fresh air around him, Yun Xie looked up, watching the First Elder, Gu Something fight the War Sovereign guy. The soldiers weren't really doing anything, actually, both sides weren't doing much but watching the display above with wide eyes.

"Bunch of idiots….." Yun Xie's eyes blinked once, and a huge creepy grin crossed his face, the tips of his hair turning slightly red.

"BOOM!" He shot forwards, flame trailing behind him as ash scattered about, Yun Xie twirling around, doing backflips and front flips in the air, before landing to the ground before the still dazed troops, a shockwave of fire radiating outwards, singing the soldiers hairs, who finally turned, their weapons shifting in their hands. "Anyway… Since you guys are all so star-struck... I'll wake you up. Careful!" Yun Xie unsheathed his sword, literal flames burning all around, unlike the light fire shockwave, these were bone-melting, flesh roasting flames.

"How arrogant!"

"Who the hell are you?"

"Oh….. You'll know in a bit….. If you aren't dead." Yun Xie's sword flashed, heating up, turning a bloody red. "First Form: Unknowing Fire." Speeding forwards like a bullet, he waved his nichirin katana, beheading five men without them even reacting, blood splurting everywhere before being evaporated by the pure heat.

Yun Xie launched hundreds of flaming missiles at the soldiers, who mostly panicked, some getting hit and burning up, flailing around as the stench of burning flesh filled the air.

"First Form: Unknowing Fire."

"First Form: Unknowing Fire."

A few soldiers charged forwards at him, displaying quite decent sword arts and spear arts, but had their heads cut off and bodies burned before they could even react.

"Tenth Form: Boundless Ashen Hellstorm!" Yun Xie stretched out his sword, getting into a stance, before launching off his foot, fire burning around and behind him as he twirled and flipped through the air, swinging and spiraling his katana rapidly in a dance of flames, cutting through a group of soldiers, who fell to the ground in charred pieces.

"Fifth Form: Flame Tiger." Yun Xie slashed once again viciously, a giant foreboding orange flame slamming down behind each strike, as he cleaved three men in half with a single blow, the flames taking shape as a giant roaring tiger.

The soldiers looked at him, stunned. They did not know that there would be such a gifted swordsman among the disciples, though Dong Shenglong had warned that "All was not as it seemed".

Sighing, Yun Xie looked at the soldiers, most hesitating. They really didn't have any fighting spirit. He could just use his fists to spur them up a little, but he wanted to use his sword badly. Rengoku's katana was a masterpiece after all. "Third Form: Blazing Universe." He swung his sword in a downwards arc, a trail of fire splitting the ground before him, along with the bodies of two of the useless soldiers.
