Magical Artifact

After all this rollercoaster of emotion, we all walk back to my house. If we can call this one. It is made of vegetation after all. Well, that and the literal throne.

Could you imagine going to a real estate agent and ask for a throne? The agent going: there are many bedrooms, good lighting, a pool, a spa, everything you need, is right next to the city and is affordable.

Then you'd go, yes but is there a throne? When she says no you flip the table. Why is the agent in this case female? I mean you assign a beautiful agent to guys and a handsome man to female customers that is the basis of marketing.

At least that's how I picture it. Still, this is weird because the place isn't even that big. Who installs a throne in such a place?

Apparently not. What was even the point of him appearing in the first place if he just disappears? Don't tell me that his sole purpose was to introduce the domicile? No, that wouldn't make much sense.

He did say something about expanding the place. Is he some kind of magical contractor that only happens when truly needed? Or perhaps he was designed in a flawed way by Yggdrasil. What if he requires an update to be fully operational?

Ah, I have no clue. I sit on the thrown and slowly doze off. I don't feel tired physically. But my mind definitively needs the rest. I understand why immortal beings are said to sleep so much.

A good example would be a vampire that slumbers. That or a titan too. They are often said to be sleeping below the earth.

At first, it sounds ridiculous. Why would close to all-powerful creatures act like the vulnerable us? Well, sometimes you just want a break from the bullshit haha.

I slowly open my eyes. Sleeping was a great idea! I totally received inspiration in a dream! …Not.

Does my situation count as an isekai? Where is the cliché entity appearing in my dream to guide me on the right path? Ah, maybe that's just people imagining stuff.

Then again, maybe it could be lucid dreaming too. That is something I always dreamed to do. For an obvious reason! Anyone that thinks of something lewd after reading this deserves a *Bonk*. Wouldn't that allow one to get the experience of traveling anywhere from looking at pictures?

I'm not sure. Still, I'm as confused as yesterday. I do feel great, however. That part is extremely surprising. You know considering how I slept sitting.

What was that? Something fell on the ground. Some kind of dark metal. What is… oh! This is the necklace I got from the tiger! I guess I never gave it back. Kinda something that happens a lot with pens usually.

Actually, I blame the spider. She may or may not have tried to scare me to death. Then again, I totally got revenge haha. It was so funny how she ran away yesterday. I would have felt bad if I randomly caused it in fact.

The thing is this all happened while I was diligently following her directives. This makes the situation hilarious. I guess she underestimated my capabilities to involuntarily cause trouble. Well, I can't blame her because I surprise even myself.

Now let's see. This necklace has an English sentence inscribed on the back. What is the meaning of it? Some sort of god? Why would it remain unnamed? This would defy the very purpose of a god! After all, deities are meant to be worshipped! How is someone supposed to worship a god without a name? Or is that perhaps its real name?

I flip it around in my hands over and over, but nothing seems different. Perhaps it was just made as a cool-looking trinket? What should I do with it?

Time to list things one can do with a necklace! I could wear it to gain style points. Not golden so no street cred. I could give it to a random NPC to raise my affection levels perhaps. I could put it into a hydraulic press and do a resistance test.

Why would I do such a thing? This is obvious. Cause it's awesome! Where would I find such a machine? That may be an issue. Then again I could do a forest version of it. Okay in the short term it doesn't change my life much. I was already struggling to get a date because of work. I just need to ask Yggdrasil when he's done sleeping. Then everything will be clear. Then everything will be fine.

This suck. What now? I still need to learn magic at all costs. I still have no clue what to do. Should I simply randomly explore the forest? That doesn't sound like a good plan.

For now, let's put this medallion away. I tuck it in between some leaves on the wall.

That's when something happens.

The necklace starts levitating, radiating light all over the place.

What the hell did I just trigger again?!
