Meeting The Manager

The next morning, Ye Roulan went to the address given to her by Shi Sheong. When she got there she saw Shi Sheong with his manager, she walked up them. "Good morning, sir" She greeted the manager casually. "Good morning, by the way my name is Long Min. Have a seat" Long Min said gesturing towards tge seat beside Shi Sheong. When she sat down, Shi Sheong laughed and said "So,the great queen of stubbornness can be this gentle" Immediately he said that, Roulan glared at him making shivers go down his spine. When he was quiet, Roulan turned her attention to Long Min "So, Brother Min, who is my new manager?" she asked casually. "Ever heard of Meng Linlin?" Shi Sheong asked pouting his lips. "Of course. But how does my question relate to her, blonde". "You still don't understand?". " What?"she asked" She is going to be your manager " Long Min chipped in. "What?" Roulan screamed. "You mean the well known manager of Soul Entertainment is going to manage me". "Of course, so you are in luck don't you think?" a voice said from behind. The trio turned to see who owned the voice. Behind them a tall woman in a skirt suit was holding a file. "Oh my God" Roulan said standing up. "Good day, everyone" Meng Linlin said and everyone settled down.

"So, Ye Roulan I realise you want a manager and you asked Shi Sheong for help". "Yes, you are right ". She replied. "Alright then, I checked through your resume and your education on acting and I realised all you need is a few resources and grooming."

Placing a document in front of Roulan she said "Sign it that is your contract, You have been selected on trial, a few resources will be given to you. To see how you can succeed. If you do succeed, you will be signed as my full artist". Everyone was speechless, especially Roulan. She did not believe it, she had thought that it was going to be a manager who handled newbies with unpromising futures that was going to manage her. She did not expect it to be the best manager in the best entertainment company. She had thought Meng Linlin will decline her when she saw she was a newbie. "Maybe the word luck is real" she thought.

She took the pen and signed the contract she then passed it to Meng Linlin who promptly signed it. After the contract signing, Meng Linlin brought out her hand and said smiling "Well, Ye Roulan, welcome to Soul Entertainment". Roulan shook her hand happily. "It feels like a dream" she murmured. "Well then, junior Roulan. Happy journey" Shi Sheong said. "Thank you" In her excitement Roulan hugged Shi Sheong who was in turn speechless. "Come tomorrow to go over some scripts" Meng Linlin reminded. "Alright Sis Linlin. Let's have the journey together".
