33 A Normal Morning I Think

I had an excellent rest after some time as Christy's problem was solved. I was waiting for a proper way to introduce Halona and Christy but what I saw in the morning stunned me. I woke a little later than Halona, so I was late for breakfast and when I went to the dining hall only to see Halona and Christy chatting amiably. Furthermore, I could see there was some kind of tactic understanding between them.

It's good that I don't have to worry about them, but there could be a hidden motive behind their understanding. I could see why Christy would compromise, but one thing surprised me, as Halona's warrior persona was nowhere to be seen. She looks like she is planning all the pros and cons of a situation, but what could be she planning?

It doesn't matter, all I have to do is prepare for the worst.

Mom was also sipping tea calmly while the maids continued to serve the foods on the table. I could see she was momentarily flinching when Christy and Halona were talking about me. If I could get a mind-reading system, then I could know what's inside that head of hers.

But all I got was a fucking guide. Leave that, let me ask mom if I could do something in exchange for money. Now that I have accepted Halona and Christy's love, I want to give them some presents. I know if I asked mom, she would give me money and everything, but it will not satiate my stupid pride in giving gifts to my wives with my money.

While Christy was also angry, but she showed a poker face as it was a benefit of being born in a noble house. "Mom, this is my only selfish request please agree to this." She started mumbling some words under her breath, which I couldn't listen to. She was angry I could see it on her face but at the same time, she showed an understanding smile towards me and said.

"Uh– okay, I will agree this time and you orc stay under your limits."

I thought that Halona would lash out towards mom, but all I can see was a horrifying cute smug smile that also showed her tiny little tusks. She was gloating over mom. Honestly, I was resisting my urge to pat her as she looked too cute.

Mom didn't say anything about Christy, as it was her job to become my guard.

Well, all that matters is now I can earn money. After a week, I have to go to the academy, so I have to work fast.
