CH 5-On our way!

Rain's POV.

It's been a month since my birthday, I don't know how, but for some reason, I and the boys didn't have to take entrance tests and got accepted like it was nothing!

I was really happy with it! well, Eric was not, he said it was frustrating after how much study he did, but in the end, he was happy with how all of us got accepted, we all are in the same class and the same group.

This is the biggest educational body in the country, and they own the whole town as their academy grounds.

To teach their students humility, humbleness, and hardship, they banned the local currency and regulate their own one, which is provided by the academy itself, everything is provided by the academy, although some exceptions being for the rich, not much, but definitely some.

Like, we were able to get ourselves a whole apartment, which, usually is shared b/w 6 people..., I mean we are four people so it's not a big difference, but it's still something, our apartment is in the boy's building inside the Academy premises.

The Academy is also divided into three parts.

One, people like us with good money.

second, people who got accepted thanks to their hard work,

and Third, people who can use magic.

Right now it's 8 in the morning, I'm having breakfast with Jude and Aunt, while Mom and Kenny are out to buy some stuff for me.

Jude-" So... *Drinks tea* you got everything ready?"

Ashley-" You'll get books, uniforms, and accessories from the academy as for your clothes and your personal belongings, you'll have to take them with you."

Rain-" How come you two are the only ones calm here? Mom and Kenny look like they are preparing for war."

Ashley-" Cuz they are, You think it's easy for a Mother to send her son to study in another city, huh?"

Rain-"Nnnn---ooo... but... it's not THAT MUCH of a big deal."

Jude-" For Mom, it is."

Slar-" Sir Rain you are still a kid, you don't know the kind of *Stares at Ashley* world it is for boys like us."

Ashley-" *Cough* Yup! Yup! it's dangerous out there, you should be careful."

Slar came in with some cupcakes and choco milk.

Rain-" Thanks~."

Serving only me he puts the rest of it on the table.

Jude-" They should have been back by now, what's taking them-"

Kenny-" We are back!"

Mom and Kenny returned, carrying huge shopping bags, Mom threw her bags on the table and came straight to me and just stared at my face.

Riz-"...You really wanna go?"

Rain-" Uhhh yeah...."

Kenny-" Like..., you are not having any second thoughts? I mean just say it and we'll cancel this shit right now, and if you really wanna go to a school, then there are plenty in our city."

Riz-" I could have one constructed right outside our house, or like we can shift to another place."

Ashley-" hehe."

Jude-" Mom..., let him go, he's going with his friends, plus this was bound to happen one day or another, and National Academy is the best in the country."

Riz-" I KNOW!!.... I just.... *sigh*.... let's just get it over with."

Mom picked me up and sat in my seat, resting me in her lap, she hugged me tightly and rested her chin on my head.

Rain-" What did you buy?"

Kenny-" Some fancy clothes..., a smartphone, some custom-made jewelry, and a laptop nothing much."

Rain-" Thats... too much.... and Why the jewelry?"

Riz-" Cuz I wanna see you wearing them."

Rain-" tch Fine... Wait for a second, what type of clothing did you buy for me?"

Riz-"..... Cute one."

Rain-" No, I am already cute, I don't need clothes for it."

Riz-"... I wanna see you in them."

Kenny-" *Unpacks a camera* let's get the show started."

Kenny says as she takes out Four fresh new cameras from their packaging, that's when I felt Mom's arm tighten around me, Kenny took the cameras and passed one to everyone.

Jude-" Oh!! hohoho! That's gonna be fun."

Ashley-" lights!... camera!..."

A single drop of sweat fell from my forehead.

Ashley-" *Smirk*... ACTION!!!!"

Rain-"[... Shit]"

An hour passed....., Mom, Kenny, Jude, and Aunt sat at the table, trading My photos as if they were currency.

Rain-" *Sob*... I have been violated."

I was sitting on Fluffy, burying my face deep in her fur.

Sara-"[I... want one of those photos...]"

Fluffy-"[ We are going with him, there is no need for it.]"

As I sobbed in my anguish, Slar came from the side with a Glass of choco milk.

Slar-" Sir, you haven't finished your breakfast yet."

Rain-" Huh?.., You are not here to comfort me?"

Slar-" I'm not paid for that..., and I, think...., you looked great in all those clothes."

Rain-"get lost...."

Slar-" Certainly, But please finish your milk."

Half an hour later, Mom called her limousine and my bags were loaded in the back seat.

I sat in the front seat for the best view, while Fluffy was with everyone else in the back.

Mom and Aunt were busy drinkings in the mini bar inside the car, while Jude and Kenny, just sat with them with their phones in hand.

I too was playing around with my new phone, I called the boys on conference mode, apparently they all have yet to depart from their homes, but since they all live much closer than me I guess it's understandable.

Third Person's POV.

They passed the High-class residential area, and as they entered the shopping district Rain could see many people turning their heads toward us, he opened the window and then saw even more people looking, at this point, he won't know if he was the center of attention or the car is, but slowly and steadily they also left that place too.

Now they are at the border of the city, every city's border is a slum area, and the migration from one to another is not a walk in the park, many people come to a city for new opportunities and then lose everything falling to slums, The city where Rain lives are known for being a celebrity market, many people come in hopes of becoming a star, singer or anyone of influence, but sadly when they can't their journey ends at the slums, those lucky enough manage to return home, those who can't, get stuck in the slums for their whole life, if you work hard enough you might be able to escape towards middle-class life.

The driver was about to turn for a mega highway that flies over the slums but as he was, a police officer stopped her.

The driver stopped and lowers the window, inquiring about the situation

Driver-" What happened?"

Officer-" Some assholes were racing here this morning, and one of them smashed into a heavy crane luckily no one died but now the whole road is blocked, *hushed* b/w the who are you carrying? and who's that cutie?"

Driver-" * hushed* Oi Oi Oi!, you wanna die!?, that's Riz young in the back and Ashley young too! and that kid is her son!"

Officer-" Holy!.....*Hushed* Holy shit I almost stepped in a landmine, thanks for the save, my gal."

Driver-" You're welcome, now tell me how the hell do I get to the border?"

Officer-" Well, I'm sorry to say but you gotta take the road down at slums, no other way."

Driver-" Shit.... ok thanks."

Officer-" Good day."

The driver looked troubled, she derived to the side of the road and then got off her seat.

Driver-" Sir I'll be back in a minute, please don't touch anything, and don't open thr door for anyone either."

Rain-" *nods in agreement*."

The driver walks back to the passenger seat and knocks on the window, Kenny opens the door.

Kenny-" *Slides down window* Huh? what happened."

Driver -" Can I talk to Ma'am for a moment."

Riz came out of the car and asked what happened, the driver told her everything and then asked what to do now.

Riz-" we can't stop now, today's the entrance ceremony, ..... Ok, get Rain behind with me, Ashley will sit with you, and don't stop the car for anyone."

Driver-" What if there are people on the streets, slums is usually crowded."

Riz-" You heard me, I ain't gonna have these little critters ruin my son's big day."

Driver -" Ok ma'am, Am I allowed to use my gun?"

Riz-" Yes."

And so it was decided that they will take the road to slums

Rain's POV.

Rain-" Why the hell is Aunt sitting in thr front and I'm not!?, and why can't I open the damn windows!?"

Riz-" Due to some reason we are taking the other way than our usual one, and our current path is filled with little insects that crawl under your clothes and bite!."

She said as she pinched my cheeks.

Riz-" And the driver is still new and doesn't know the directions yet that's why your aunt is in the front."

Rain-" A driver that doesn't know the direction is kinda useless."

Riz-" Bear with it for just one hour, I'm sure we'll arrive there soon enough."

*BA-DHUM!!!"

The car shook as if we had hit something, panicking, I automatically grabbed Mom's hand.

I don't know what happened, but she flinched for a second, after like Seven seconds she took out her phone and whispered something, and then again hugged me, but this time tightly.

Just as I thought it was just a speed bump.

*SKRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!*

Rain&Jude&Kenny-" WHAT THE!!??"

The car suddenly made a sharp break, before resuming as if nothing happened.

*THUDDD!!*

Again!, as we did more scary maneuvers, My body gradually sank deeper and deeper into Mom's embrace.

After an hour we finally arrived at our location, I don't know why but on our way someone threw red paint on the front of the car so we had to stop to clean it.

Whoever did must be crazy it way too courageous.

Third Persons' POV.

The car arrived at the city border, and after some casual paperwork, they continued their journey.

Riz, however, took a stop, to change her underwear.

Whenever Rain grabbed her arm or flinched into her arms she fell like something tickling into her guts.

She liked it, Whenever Rain felt scared and ran towards her for protection..... she liked it..., the feeling of power and love.... the ego of dependency..... she kinda.... liked it...

Soon they arrived at the town where rhe college is located, and the first thing they need to do is go to their cabin and unload Rain's baggage, other guys were already there.

Rain-" Great we are here!!"

The Academy arc officially starts now.

you people must have noticed that Sara and Fluffy didn't get much limelight in the past few chapters, but in this one, they will!, Riz will be home with Kenny, Jude, and Ashley, So It's only Sara and Fluffy with Rain.

Oh, and I have plans for them!

Many people said that the MC feels way too weak and spineless.

Well, I just wanna say that HE WILL get brave. but you won't appreciate it if I don't show the weak side properly.

Up until now, Our MC has lost his previous life memories, and now is a kid, both, mentally and physically.
