Ch 3 - Meeting the Guardian

I woke up in a luxurious room in a bed ten times too big for me.

My hands were very small and in the corner of my eye I could see dark red hair dangling down.

All of a sudden a blue line of text appeared in my vision

I understood what was happening and whispered, "status"

I couldn't help but be disappointed in my status.

Before I could think more about it I hear a pop and saw a small elf in a maid uniform.

Dipsy: "Young master Yoshi it is time for breakfast. Dipsy be making eggs and bacon. Best be getting out of bed."

With another pop she was gone and I realized that she called me Yoshi which I decided I quite liked.

Shuffling out of bed I opened my door and as I walked through the large hallways I remembered the first three years that this body lived.

I did not leave the house much and explore the island because it was so big and had everything I needed.

There was a training area, a theater, a pool, a kitchen that is always restocked by the elves, and the dining room where I find myself now.

The breakfast appeared in front of me and I started to think about what I should do first.

I realized that the first three years I did not have the gamer system so my status should have reset as soon as I woke up just now.

Hmmm what's the difference between wisdom and intelligence.

I would guess that learning new things and reading would increase intelligence and solving problems or puzzles would increase wisdom.

After I checked my status again I closed my eyes and mentally stated that I wanted to go to the ultimate library.

The disappeared from the dining hall and appeared in a library with clouds for a roof and bookshelves extending up into the sky.

I could see new books flying here and there entering the bookshelves and sorting themselves.

I turned to see the best butler to have ever existed, Alfred Pennyworth sitting while leaning back in a chair with his feet up on a desk and book in his lap.

When he saw me he closed the book and put it down on the desk.

He stood up with the most amount of grace that could possibly come from an elderly man and bowed slightly to me.

Alfred: "Welcome to the ultimate library Master Yamoshi Peverell. You can call me the guardian or Alfred as I am so aptly similar to."

"Thanks Alfred you can call me Yoshi. Do you have any recommendations for the first things I should read"

Alfred: "Very well Master Yoshi. I would recommend compiling books on building ones foundations for the body, mind, and soul. This will make your future path much easier as well as prepare you to start learning magic in this world."

"Thank you Alfred. I will do just that."

I turned back towards the library and though that I wanted all the books on the building foundations for the body, mind, and soul.

Just like that hundreds of books leaped out of the book shelves and appeared in three piles in front of me.

I mentally ordered the books in each pile to combine and three golden books appeared with zero flaws.

'The Limitless Body Foundation', 'The Limitless Mind Foundation', and 'The Limitless Soul Foundation'.

I wondered if I could combine already flawless books and decided to try it.

With that the three books combined together and the cover turned black with stars covering it.

The title of the book was 'Boundless Foundation Procedure'
