You & Him.

Kurono Shun, the newly transferred student displayed his monstrous physical abilities during PE class, sending some of the students to the infirmary.

No, he wasn't that competitive like Minami, he was angry at himself for allowing Junko to be injured. He might be a bodyguard, but his mindset is that of a Yakuza.

As soon as the match was over, Junko dragged him out of the place, gave him a piece of her mind, scolding him about controlling his strength.

"Yes..."

"Jeez. I should have thought of something like this sooner. Remember, no more violence in school. And also-"

Before Junko could finish, Nene and Minami exit through the door, approaching them.

'This is bad.'

"Junko. What are you guys talking about?" Curious, Nene asks, her, switching her gazes between the two.

"Nothing really. Heheh... Just, reminding Shun here that violence will get him expelled. That he better watch his behavior." Junko, scratch the back of her neck.

"I see." Nene isn't convinced much.

"Oi." Minami speaks up.

"I don't know what your problem is, but don't you think you're going overboard?" Again, it was Minami who started the confrontation, getting closer to Kurono.

"Doesn't matter if you're strong or not, but hurting people just because it's allowed doesn't mean it's necessary." His tone is filled with anger, frustration and authority.

"Stop Minami. I know what you're trying to say but I've already gave him a piece of my mind." Junko, trying to diffuse the tension, stepped in between.

"Aka..." Nene is scared. She never seen this side if him for a long time.

Kurono, on the other hand back away several feet. He didn't replied nor look at Minami, because Junko forbid him from doing so.

"Silence won't get you nowhere. If you're gonna come into our school and tarnish the place, you might as well leave." Minami, grows even more frustrated at Kurono's silence treatment.

"Enough!! Shun, go change into your uniform and return to the class. Minami, you stay here until he's done. I don't want you two to start some unnecessary fight in the men's room."

Kurono quietly retreats, following Junko's order and return to the classroom afterwards. He's the first one to arrive, with the others much later.

The stares at him are infuriating to say the least. But Kurono are used to it. The class went on, but not so smoothly for the others.

Some of the students, Takashi included, has some medical checkups and it wasn't something normal. Hit by a dodgeball, but the injuries are equivalent to being punch.

Nene is worried about Minami's issues with Kurono. She witnessed firsthand how much Kurono's strength differ from Minami.

Junko, is worried about the same thing. But for different reasons. Kurono is here to be her bodyguard, yet she's the one that has to look out for him.

Then, recess arrived. This time, Junko waits for Nene and both of them go up to the roof again as usual.

"Itadakimasu."

Junko was enjoying her meal like normal, but something that's been bothering Nene ever since the morning, decided to ask Junko, hoping to clear it up.

"Say Junko."

"Mmmm. What?"

"I've been thinking about it since the start of PE class. Before the dodgeball started. About Kurono."

Junko gulped, not sure if it's a good thing. But judging from Nene's expression and the topic is regarding Kurono, it's nothing good, only bad or worse.

"Wha-what about him?"

"Why do you called him Shun instead of Kurono?"

"Ah..."

'Father called him Shun and it's stuck with me. Come to think of it, except for Sato, we called everyone by their real name. Reiji, Kiba, Aiba...'

"Hello~Junko~. Are you there?" Nene called out the dazed girl, bring her back to reality.

"Hmmm. Ah. That.... Hehe. It's a funny story actually but..." Junko is stunned.

'Damn it. You idiot. How come you never thought about this!?'

Flustered, confused, Junko has to lie to her friend.

"Actually, it's crazy but, I just found out that... Shun and I....are actually friends. Yes! Childhood friends." It's getting even worse for her.

"Childhood friends? You and Kurono? How come I never heard of it?"

"Yes. Well, he...moved away. So, I don't really remember him much."

"Seriously?" Minami asks, startled the two.

"Whoah!! You scared me."

He overhead their conversation, so he decided to understand more.

"You're childhood friends with that Kurono? I can't believe it."

"Bakaboshi stay out of this. I asked her first."

"I wanna know more too Nene."

"Clearly you're looking for an excuse to have your revenge."

Now the two childhood friends are both interested in the backstory.

"But, it's... In the past. And I'm not that close to him anymore..." Silence came after Junko's statement. They continued the focus on their respective meals until.

"Ah. Speak of the devil."

Kurono has arrived at the roof, going to the same spot yesterday, with the same kind of bread and bottle water.

'Didn't Sato prepared any lunch for him?' Junko is curious. He's the bodyguard, so he needs better nutrients than just bread and bun.

"How about I properly introduce you guys to each other this time?"

This idea came to mind after having flashback of Kurono defeating Minami at that very same spot.

"Eh... But I don't wanna." Minami protest but Nene punch him by the back of his head.

"Yes. That would be wise."

The idea was for Minami and Kurono to let bygone be bygone and hopefully no more misunderstandings between the two. Then the next steps would be the whole class. Friends is out of the question but, no enemies is much preferable.

"Shun. Come here." Junko called out to him, and he approaches them.

"Let me properly introduce these two friends of mine. Kageura Nene."

"It's good to make your acquaintance Kurono-kun." Nene greeted him.

"And this, is Minami Akaboshi." Minami reluctantly held out his hand, offering a handshake. But only silence are given to them.

"Shaking other people's hand during introduction is crucial Shun." Junko told him. Kurono thought for a moment, then turned towards Junko.

"What?" She knows that he's gonna say something unnecessary stupid again but can't stop it.

"I wasn't allowed to be anywhere near your friends or talk to them. That's wha-"

"Stopppp!!!!" Junko covered his mouth, silencing him.

"Not allowed? By who?" Both Nene and Minami are curious, looking at the embarrassed Junko.

"Hehehe. It's another long story. I just don't want anyone to know that I'm friend with this idiot that's all. Sorry." She turned towards Shun, giving him the look of disapproval.

'That mouth of yours is gonna be the death of me you idiot!!"
