1 The Shinigami
In the year 5600 of the Blue Wind Empire's calendar, in a forest, a gate was opened, twelve feet tall and six feet wide.
The gate was shrouded in pitch darkness, with a looming sense of deathly energy emanating from within, as if the Grim Reaper himself lurked inside!
At that moment, two mysterious figures flew swiftly above the forest!
"Old man Chian, what should we do now?? I'm tired of hiding for years. Let's come out and show the world our strength. With my cultivation at level 3 and yours at level 5 from the world of the Deep Emperor, I'm sure we can rule the Blue Wind Empire!"

"Dark energy?" Old man Jin looked at him puzzled, then also activated his detection technique. After three seconds, he felt a dense dark energy that made him feel afraid!
"What!!!! I, a level 3 Deep Emperor, trembling in fear?? What the hell is the source of this dark energy??" Then he turned his gaze towards his companion.
"Old man Jin! What do you think about following this energy to its source?" Old man Chian said, sweat dripping from his forehead, indicating his own fear as well!
"What...what? Are you crazy?? Even with your strength, you're still trembling in fear and want to go to the source!" Old man Jin said with a surprised look.
"Shut up!! What do you know? The greater the danger, the greater the rewards. Perhaps there's a treasure beyond compare waiting for us. It will change our lives. We can achieve our dream of ruling the Blue Wind Empire!" As he said this, a wide smile formed on his face, a smile that revealed absolute greed!
Old man Jin remained in place, shocked by his companion's expressions. "Tell me, old man Jin, do you want to miss this opportunity or seize it?? Let me tell you, opportunities like this don't come twice!!"
Old man Jin stared at old man Chian with a hesitant look, then gritted his teeth and said, "Damn it! Let's go. If it's something good, it'll be great, but if not, I'm confident in my speed. I'll escape in the blink of an eye."
"Good, let's go then." Old man Chian flew at lightning speed, as if chasing after heavenly treasures, leaving old man Jin hesitating behind, but he didn't linger on his thoughts and quickly flew after his companion.
After several minutes, the two arrived at the source of the energy, where they witnessed a scene of wild animal carcasses and monsters from the earth and even the sky!! But the most terrifying thing was that they had been killed without a battle, not even a drop of blood on any of them, as if the Grim Reaper had taken their souls!!
Old man Jin then turned to his left and saw a winged tiger lying on the ground with its eyes wide open. He stared at the beast for a long time then said with a faint tone, "Hmm, the wings of this tiger indicate it was from the sky realm before its death. Who could kill it without resistance??" After saying that, he heard old man Chian laughing, then turned to him and said.
"Old man Jin, maybe it was the work of the Grim Reaper!!"
"The Grim Reaper?? That's impossible. There's no such thing as the Grim Reaper. It's just the delusions of mortals who know nothing about the cultivation world," old man Jin said disdainfully, expressing his denial of this nonsense!!
Old man Chian looked at him with a slight smile, then pointed forward with his finger and said, "So, can you tell me what's up with that gate?"

And so, old man Chian took a step forward towards the gate, followed by old man Jin, eager to enter and achieve eternal peace.
"Hehehehe, humans? What fools they are, easily lured by the temptation of death. Hahaha, how weak!!" A strange voice was heard from inside the gate, or rather several voices laughing and mocking the pitiful duo, Chian and Jin!!!
"Silence!!!" Amidst the hysterical laughter and madness inside the gate, a majestic voice spoke, forcing everyone into silence!!
In a silence like no other, no sound was heard from inside anymore, not even from Chian and Jin, who were still tempted by the gate, unable to hear anything. And without further ado, they entered the gate directly, after which the entrance was closed!!
"Owei Ryuok! Release them," the majestic voice spoke again. One of the shadows moved forward and produced a black memorandum, then began to write something!
In the next moment, the consciousness of Chian and Jin returned to reality. They were sweating and trembling with fear!! Each of them began to wonder, "This is impossible. How could I lose consciousness? What happened? Where am I??"
"Damn, what is this place?? All I remember is seeing that cursed gate!!"
"Yagami Light, this is my gift to you on the occasion of the end of your punishment in the Shinigami world!!
