33 Mad man

In the mountains, Wang had taken up residence in a cave, and beside him were a few bodies of wolves.  But he was in a bad shape so he took out some medical materials and applied them on his wounds before looking towards the dead wolves. Barely supporting himself, he went outside the cave and collected some dry wood, and dragged the bodies into the depths of the cave.

As he practiced recovering quickly, the aroma of meat was spreading in the cave, and with every bite,  Wang could feel warm current cursing in his veins. He was very excited at the moment. From the cave, Wang's eyes were cold as he looked into the distance. He had read some information and only now did it come to him. This method of attracting beasts seems like the work of those with enough knowledge and resources and it seems like someone else had set their sight on him as the perfect bait, so he was not in a good mood.

In fact, he did not even have any idea what they were trying to attract but his act of roasting meat seemed to be disrupting their plans. In a way, the only thing that could be done now is to come out of the shadows and solve Wang or things could develop beyond their control, he had already seen some pits in the field he was standing in, that seemed to have been set up as a trap, this also forced him to retreat from the place.

When he escaped he managed to have some wolves follow him due to the blood that was dripping from his arms, but the figure he was fighting with seemed to have been followed by the strong aura he felt back then. That figure seemed stronger but not enough to make him anxious because he knew that it would not be capable of stopping him from leaving.

But it did not take it too long for the sound of footsteps to be heard, and looking at the door to the cave, some people seemed to be approaching.

"So fragrant! Brother, do you mind if we came in and share the meat with you?" The sound came from the entrance of the cave but Wang could feel that the man was not asking at all considering he had already stepped into the cave.

When the fire from the middle of the cave reflected on the man's face he could see a grin, but his heart was more relaxed since his injuries were already okay and he felt that he could fight the guy. But Wang did not respond he just looked at the group in the back of the group, he felt this guy one step ahead in the cave was the most threatening, as he had the same sense as when facing Ruruo's maid, obviously, the guy had not made much progress in the blood forging realm and still standing at the first level.

He, on the other hand, seemed to have not only healed his wounds but the energy in his blood was surging as it moved from the heart to other areas. Thanks to the heat in the building, the man did not discover any weirdness with the place.

After a period of unspeakable silence, the middle-aged man seemed to have finally made up his mind.

He raised the hand and pointed towards the huge wolf meat being roasted, "Us brothers came in just to have a taste of this meat, by the way, the wolves over there are also not bad, considering your skills how about you work for us?"

Wang narrowed his eyes as he observed the man and those behind him knowing he was the only one that could prove a threat to him. But he was sure that some of the were armed with bows which might prove very unfavorable in this place.

Seeing this Wang narrowed his eyes, and looked at the man with some coldness in his eyes, "What are you saying? Make it more clear?" As he spoke this he had his eyes checking everything and did not look at the man kindly anymore. He had killed people and not the same as when he had just come to this world, so he also knew that this person was obviously here for his life too. After all, he seemed more like a bandit and such people would want to have everything on Wang. The best way to ensure that would be to kill him.

"I already thought you could be smart but since this is the case I suppose you can be left behind in this cave, it is a good place." He indeed had already made some plans for this kind of situation but in the end, he was just panicked. But his blood forging had stepped into the second level thanks to the resources he had and thus he did not need to be afraid of the man.

Since he could feel that the greatest threat to him was those that were standing outside the cave, he could only go out there, and the man in the cave can be used to divert their attention. He had the confidence to resolve this issue in the fastest possible way but the situation on the outside might be beyond his control. But he did not delay any longer as the situation might change and he kept feeling a threat from the outside intensifying.

As he had just guessed the sound of something piercing through the air sounded and he barely reacted moving to the side, he felt a huge part of the rocks in the back being hit hard and collapsing.

"Boom!"

With this, his hesitation was gone and his feet seemed to have exerted force in the ground making it sink and some stones thrown to the side, as he dashed forward. He arrived before the man at the entrance of the cave instantly and his arms seemed to bring about the roar of tigers in the man's mind before he knew it a palm landed on his chest, resulting in the collapse of the chest.

Katcha!

The bones on the chest were fractured and the man was thrown back some distance but he did not follow to finish them off but rather shuttled to the nearest trees. He took advantage of the shock the people were feeling and took cover beside the trees. In the same way, the guys with the bows seemed to be scared but continued to shoot toward where he was hiding. After leaving the cave he could now guess the exact locations of the archers from the sound of arrows. But this did not cloud his judgment as he could already seem to know they were capable of threatening his life.  All that nonsense about the skin being impervious to weapons is only when facing those that have no martial arts.

Since he knew where they were then all he needed was patience and when the consistency of shooting was no longer the same he planned to also make his move. He did not think that the group had inexhaustible arrows, and thus kept throwing stones further from the tree confusing them with the thought that he was fleeing into the distance among the trees.

The archers had some headaches, as they were not sure whether to chase or tend to the leader that had blood flowing from the mouth. The archers started cooperating trying to intercept and deal with Wang, but he could feel their movements and made a target for himself. In this way, he started to sneak around out and seemed to have discovered someone to step on. Wang rushed out and struck out towards the throat, taking the guy's life before he could do anything.

After that when the movements were heard, the sound seemed to have changed direction heading towards the leader that was collapsed on the ground the remaining archers targeted the direction the movement was going but by the time the arrows stopped, another three archers were dead. Approaching the dead body, the archers turned pale upon realizing this was one of the, they had not even managed to hurt this guy. But this did not take long for their turn to arrive.

Katcha!

The last man standing from the archers only heard his shoulder being destroyed and before he could even make a sound he was thrown in the distance, his arm incapable of holding an arrow anymore.

"Boom!"

Wang appeared before the and the sole of his feet crushed the man's skull the only one left alive was the leader of the bandits, in the full moon, his pale face could be seen.

Seeing the development of things he cursed silently, as he seemed to regret messing with Wang.

"This is a madman, he had the chance to escape but came back at the expense of risking his life just to kill all of us." The man was frightened at this time as he could see Wang approaching him and it was as though a vicious beast was staring at him.

"How about it? There is meat everywhere now, want me to cook some for you?" Hearing he cold indifferent tone the man shuddered.
