Without saying a word, he brandished his sword, ready to double tap. Suddenly, his instincts went haywire, and without missing a beat, he sidestepped as the supposedly dead Red Python lunged at him, managing to dodge in time.
Screech!
The Red Python let out a shrill and strained cry, its eyes burning with rage and hatred. Its wounds also began to close at an alarming rate.
"Berserk state! Dammit!" Bai Yu cursed.
Berserk state. An extremely rare state where monsters push past their limits and get even stronger. In the game, it was the second state of boss monsters, and they received an all-around buff.
