Liam entered his room, the soft glow of the moon filtering through the cold night into the window casting shadows across the floor.
He took a moment to catch his breath and let the tension ease from his muscles before taking off his black training outfit that was soaked with sweat, then went into the bathroom and took a quick bath, feeling refreshed again.
Coming out with a relaxed expression, he selected one of the numerous night robes inside the closet and wore it before retiring to his bed.

'The rewards are all tempting,' His eyes shining with interest at the option display before him.

There was an increase in some of his stats, which he was delighted about. His strength, agility, and stamina were enhanced due to his training. His body was getting filled with more energy each day as he tempered his body with training, receiving a reward for that in return.
'They are important but increasing my strength and defense would be more important especially for the unexpected.'

Under the dark cover of night, a figure, entirely cloaked in black, stealthily entered one of the buildings within the Qiao Family Residence.
Silently, the figure approached a large room illuminated by candles placed at each corner, providing light for the room.
"Why the night visit?" a voice resounded in the figure's ear.
Though the figure had yet to enter the room, its presence did not escape the notice of a shirtless young man seated on a grand bed with closed eyes. Beside him, a lady slumbered peacefully after rounds of hot sex battles.

"Wait until my cultivation is complete," the young man's deep voice interrupted.

The figure went down on his knee and bowed his head in respect.
"What urgent matter required you to disturb my meditation?" The young man's inhumane eyes, a chilling shade of red, bore into the figure, his tone devoid of warmth.
"My lord..." the figure began, trembling at the thought of his next words.
The young man remained composed without any change to his expression, waiting for the message to be delivered. He was Chaoxiang cheng, a member of a prestigious family residing within the Qiao household as an important guest.
He continued. "Milord, it's about the young boy that you requested dead few days ago."
"Don't tell you dare disturb me this night because of that dead trash. What business do I have with the dead!" Chaoxiang cheng barked furiously. His previous calm state replaced with anger. "I believe this isn't the so-called important news, go straight to whatever it is."
They felt secure in the room, knowing that Chaoxiang cheng had cast a soundproof barrier, ensuring their conversation would remain private and unheard by anyone outside.
The figure on the floor, quake in fear at the reaction of his master. What if he revealed the main news? How would his master react then?
"My lord, he isn't dead, he was spotted around the clan."
"How? That's impossible when you already confirmed him dead to me."
Chaoxiang cheng inhumane eyes spark with confusion as he asked.
"It's strange because the poison added to the food was a strong one, the antidote can't be found around. The maid who carried out the task reported to me that she watched him eat half the food and died before she left the room," "Shockingly, our entourage informed me today that they saw him with Miss Qiao Mei and he was perfectly….."
Before he could finish, a surge of powerful energy emanated from Chaoxiang cheng, pressing down on the figure with crushing force, accompanied by a cold voice.
"What!"

The figure coughed out blood from the pressure on him, making his knee violently plunged into the ground.
Crack…!
The crackling sound of the broken bone in his knee ranged out, but he didn't let a single cry out of his mouth. He endured the pain silently, knowing his master's ruthlessness.
"I gave you a task to carry out and you gave it to someone else to accomplish. Just to eliminate a weak brat and you failed!" Chaoxiang cheng yelled.
"What is the need of having you when you can't carry out such a simple task?"
The figure continued to vomit blood from his mouth also from his nostrils, his heart felt heavy at the last statement of his master. Those word means only one word. DEATH.
Next moment, a powerful kick connected with his body and sent him landing heavily against the wall, causing many bones in his body to break on impact.
"I give you two days to eliminate that bastard and you fail again, consider yourself dead."
With that Chaoxiang cheng angrily left the room leaving the figure groaning in pain on the ground in broken bones with just a tiny life remaining in him. He was lucky to be left alive.
Chaoxiang cheng went to continue the night on top the lady.
