1 Chapter I:Restart.
---XENITH---
The full dive virtual reality game that completely revolutionized the world in 2 years of its release.
It was supposedly the unachievable dream of gamers,which became reality on 2020.
A new company was born on that very year with the collaboration of Sony and some other game companies,Anime Studios and a small group of genius webnovel,light novel,manga etc. authors.
It was named 'EONEXUS'.
It had as expected,exploded.Big companies now decided to manufacture capsules and other accessories for this game.
It released when I was 13.I played it right after release and managed to climb up to a position within the top 2000 rankers of the game.
However,my best friend suddenly died mysteriously.It was supposedly a murder.His death was a great shock to me and I was unable to play for years.
I wished that the last words I exchanged with him were not cusses and threats...
But it was all in vain.
Eventually I left gaming and lived an ordinary life as a monster virgin.And I died one day succumbing to my old age.
Or so did I thought.
The next thing I saw when I opened my eyes was the monitor I had in my drawing room,which had a video playing about XENITH.
Yes.I regressed.
It was a strange feeling,I was rather excited than shocked.While regression was out of my expectations,it was still a golden chance.
And today was the day I would be greeting the brand new capsule in my room.
I looked at the nearby mirror.
Black short hair with ordinary brown eyes and a thin physique.I was considered average looking.And my height was average for 13 year olds.
As the doorbell rang suddenly,a shiver of excitement ran through my body as my eyes gleamed and my lips shaped into a grin.
It had been 5 years....
I could never forget the ecstasy of XENITH.But my trauma never allowed me to return.It was only during my death that I regretted my choice.
As the workers finished setting up the capsule I closed the door.My exams were long over and my results were top so parents gave me the freedom.Otherwise forget the capsule.I would be out of my house by now.
It was a glossy black capsule in the shape of a strange alien spaceship.I went inside it,close the capsule's lid and put on my head gear.

My eyes no longer saw the lid and was instead meeting with a holographic figure.

2.Goblin:A weak race with low stats.Has immense stamina.Has low intelligence.But,
they have a very unique evolution tree.Later evolutions are very powerful and unique.Rather easy to level up in intitial stages.
3.Elf:Long living race with very profound wisdom.Have racial talent in archery,scholar arts and magic related to nature.Also have unique evolution tree.Best for archer and shaman classes.
4.Slime:Unique creatures with low stats.
Have a 'metamorphosis' skill that allows them to evolve according to what they eat.They have a unique evolution tree as well and may transform to another race,with the price of losing their metamorphosis skill.
5.Raceless:A race with no definite form.Their behavior,karma,character,diet and other works dictate how they evolve.Have almost no stats.Can not level up without evolving once.Recommended to not select unless player likes challenges. >
Well,I was already familiar with this.I previously chose goblin.It was hard initially,but once I evolved to a rare variant of hobgoblin due to luck,I could level up faster than most.The evolution I reached was a rare variant of ogres,called 'Oni'.Were fairly strong to be honest.
I was not choosing it this time around.This time I decided to go with raceless.Has the most vague description among the races to choose from but....may be the best choice of them all.
In my previous life,only two people out of billions actually played this one,due to the fact that many who selected raceless had to delete their account and buy a new capsule as the race was almost impossible to level up or evolve.
The two who played it were actually within the top 100 rankers.One evolved into an extinct dragon species and the other into a count level vampire.They stated that it was very hard to evolve and they were in fact,extremely lucky to evolve.
The company eventually erased this race as this was just ignored.The two players did not lose their characters however.So,this race was forgotten later on.

What do you think a bacteria-like race lacked the most?Strength?Maybe.Agility or stamina?Yes it did but not the most.
In fact,it had bullshit luck.So I shall invest all in luck.People would call me crazy if they saw this.Luck was ignored most of the time as it did not aid in fighting at all.People who thought they could gain better treasures or quests ended up disappointed.
However,the main reason it existed were to aid in evolution and production classes.

3.Wildlands:Location of beasts and elves.Have almost zero technology.Neutral to others.Heaven for shaman and archer classes.
4.Wuxia:A unique place restricted to only humans.Other races can get in with special permission.Heaven for martial artists and cultivators.
5.Malum:The location for any kind of fallen races.Hostile to other races.Is at war with Enamour and Wildlands.Extremely mysterious. >
I liked challenges.Extremely so.And I have had experience playing dark classes and races.Oni was also a dark race.Hence I was to choose Malum.Strangely enough,almost not a single player chose this location.Those who did instantly deleted their account after 2 days.
