25 Called out!

" Agh!" I jerked up from the ground ready to fight. The last thing I remembered was helping hope fight Scott and then nothing. I looked around at the dark room and then felt a pain in my chest. I grabbed at my stomach and looked at the bandages that covered them and knew someone had patched me up. " I guess we're still alive."

" Hey, you're finally up." I looked up and saw Tony stark and Captain America were watching over me.

" Ugh, what's with the royal wakeup call?" I asked.

" You know, kid most people wouldn't have such a serious sense of humor after getting beat like that. You're not like most kids I know your age." Steve stated.

" Well, I've always been different. I just like to fight. Fighting is fun." I told the man. And it was true. I enjoyed fighting more than most of anything else." I told the man.

" That's all? Come on kid, surely there's something else you want in life." Steve asked.

" I don't really feel like talking about this with you." I responded.

" Why not? You need someone to talk to. You can't just bottle everything up. It's bad for your health." Steve explained.

" Well, I mean we wouldn't be going through all of this if you avengers just stayed out of it." I told the man. And it was true. Scott and the others started out simply helping the world. Using their powers for good. Even Magik and Namor were helping. It wasn't until Captain America and the avengers attacked us did, they start fighting. And even then, they didn't go to far. But the Avengers just wouldn't stop attacking them. Over and over again Scott and the others let it slide.

" I'm sorry? Our fault? We've been trying to prevent all of this." Steve spoke.

" But it wouldn't have come to this if you guys hadn't just left well enough alone. Scott and the others were helping the world. They were doing good. We were transforming the entire planet into a utopia. Free energy, clean water, and food for all countries. They made places in Africa, which suffered from starvation, into utopias. But now those places have fallen back into slums." I explained to the man.

" They were and still are a ticking time bomb. None of those things would have lasted in the long run." Steve argued.

Tony stayed quiet the whole time; I don't know why. But maybe he knows I'm right.

" You know, Captain. You seemed to be quiet the hero. But I noticed something. Whenever the world is in danger, the mutants are always there to help. They don't have to be asked. They don't need compensation. They help out because they want to. When the Avengers need help the X-men are there for them. But... I've noticed, not once. Not a single time, that I can personally think, not once have the Avengers ever been there for the X-Men. Not once. And I think the only reason you really wanted to stop Scott and the others is, that you knew that if they did transform the entire planet into a utopia, the world would no longer need heroes. Would no longer need the Avengers. It would no longer need you. And I think that scares you more than anything, because if you can't be hero, then you have nothing. And if that is true.... Then that's just sad." I told the man. I didn't mean for anything to come out offensively, but It's the truth. The sad sad truth.

Can anyone think of a time the Avengers showed up to help the mutants? And I mean out of the sheer kindness of their hearts?

" I don't mean to be offensive, Captain. But you're the last person I want to talk about my potential problems with. In fact, I'm quite happy. I enjoy life. I'm surrounded by friends and frenemies. And... Well, she's a bit weird. I'm not too sure. But I have no problems. I'm not stressed out. I'm not angry. I'm just me. So, do me a favor Captain, and stay the hell away from me. Because I have no respect for you." I told the man I rolled out of my bed and got to my feat. " Well, you got what you wanted. Scott's gone crazy and he needs to be stopped. So, let's go stop him."

" I'm so glad you said." Tony spoke up finally. " Because you my friend, are a part of my plan to bring him down." Tony spoke.

" What do you mean?" I asked.

" Well, you, Hope, and Wanda anyway. See Wanda's Hex energy can hurt scott. Somehow, Hope can copy that power. And whatever it is you hit him with actually managed to hurt him. So, the plan is to get everyone together and use you guys to beat Scott and Emma into submission." Tony spoke.

I simply stared at him. I couldn't believe that was the plan he'd been working on all this time. He must have caught on because he immediately laughed.

" I can see you're confused. Don't worry we've worked out the small details. Just know that you guys are the big guns. See we'll attack Scott and Emma at their base on Utopia. We've managed to procure the help of one Professor Xavier. He's going to keep scott busy in his mind while we attack his physical form. A handful of us will assault Scott and everyone else will take on Emma. Of course, we'll have those who are telepaths protect us from her mind attacks. Leaving her open to only one form of attack." Tony explained. " It's genius!"

" Okay, so, big gun huh? That sounds like my style. I like it. Let's go save the world. Wow, I get to save the world and I'm only a teen still. I can't believe it. HAHA! All right, Ruthie, watch over me. Cuz I'm about to run wild!" I exclaimed. I raised my fist to the sky and marched out of the room.
