50 Subtle It Seems

It was fine back in Sterling Pack. It was easy to keep my secret of already finding my mate. There's not much complication. I could command everyone back there to keep their mouths closed and locked. The situation at hand is definitely of a different league.

Alpha Rohan was perusing me in a somewhat sympathetic manner. It made me flinch. Out of everything, I never wanted to be pitied. 

"Alpha Rohan," I bowed my head in greeting. The Alpha was still staring at me. It would have been funny seeing him looking at me without blinking at all, but, this is the wrong time.

I checked our surroundings and found no one that could spy on us talking. 

"Do you want me to kick Luke out of the pack?"Alpha Rohan said with this unnerving blank expression. It was inappropriate, but I can't help but burst into giggles when he said it like he owns the pack. The blank expression and his fierce tone was also a funny combination.
