66 Promising Leads

I have no idea what to feel. Should I be ashamed or laugh at the situation, and my hecking answer. Alpha Atlas cleared his throat, breaking the silence.

"I'll get you water," he stood up and left the room, disappearing into an adjoining door if I wasn't mistaken.

The moment Alpha Atlas was gone, I had ample time to roam my eyes around the spacious room. Maybe, it was spacious looking because of its less than minimal interior decor. There's no frames or accessories adorning the walls. Not even a single piece of picture.

Practical. The whole room screams practical with only its simple sofa intended for visitors, and the huge shelf behind Alpha Atlas's wide table as the furniture. Even his table has no personal touch. It was a stark contrast to his old office. Maybe this office is a spare? Looking at the bulk of files on the shelf speaks the opposite though.
