“…The new student government President is primarily concerned in raising awareness for physical fitness through sports and for promoting all year-levels solidarity through team-building activities,” Christine read the newly distributed Wrenchplains Youth Gazette.

“You made her sound like she’s running for senate,” Elaine commented.

I rolled my eyes. “That’s what she told me.”

“Guys, it’s the words from her school government advisors, you know? She doesn’t talk like that before,” Christine perceived. She’s always the rational one.

“Anyways. I have something to tell you both…We’re finally dating!” Elaine announced.

“How? When!” Christine asked.

I couldn’t fork my Caesar salad, and Christine spilled her grape juice.

It seemed like my freshman year unfolded events as early as now, and every day seems like there’s something going on.
