White Divine Crane
LOL got to 444, got bored because, I never thought I would ever say this, but this guy is TOO OP. Even for me. I don't think I got to the crazy nationalist stuff, or I skimmed over it so it's whatever, but then I skipped to the end.. and there is no end.. Idk how this translator managed to stick to it for so long tbh
you know when I started this novel I expected multiple different world with different power system, connected yes but the story and power progression should be different but the power progression among all simulation is the same and the connected universe connect in a weird way.there is also a too much patriotism as always but that's fine for me. anyway it's not too good not too bad but not what I expected from it.
The first simulation world (2nd for MC) was interesting. Goes downhill from there. Second simulation world was literally- spoilers… Chapter about MC not dying as a baby. Chapter about being fed by a grandma. Chapter about beating up the tyrant city ruler. Chapter about recruiting a girl and getting her treasure. Then surprise years long time skip. MC now rules a country. And somehow MC with his girl imported china’s culture and laws word by word and I kid you not, “in 10 days everyone was a completely happy citizen of a modernized, civil, respectful, blah blah blah government.” This is a corrupt medieval world where the citizens have been tortured for decades. Their mindset isn’t going to change on the flip of a dime Anyways. MC needs resources. Girl brings up absorbing lava. MC says “no, your fire dao bones haven’t awakened yet. And it can’t awaken with the tiny almost nonexistent quantity + quality of spirit qi right now. Wait a few years.” Author uses “If I can explode a moon with spirit qi, I can explode a moon without spirit qi” logic to brute force it. Also magically gives the girl the ability to convert fire/lava qi into spirit stones with attribute-less qi to give to MC with no reason. Surprise! Girl is heavily injured! MC heals! Girl escapes in the middle of the night! MC completely didn’t notice despite their years of being besties and having a much higher cultivation level! Wow, it’s almost like they’re complete strangers! Which is impossible since the author keeps telling us how close they are, because the author can’t be bothered to show it by actually writing scenes. It’s like the author planned out the first world, then decided to toss drafts out the window, get high, and face mash the keyboard for the second world. It goes from nicely written scenes with details to “She absorbed lava. She grunted in pain. Her fire qi increased. She gathered more lava. She groaned in pain. Her fire qi increased more.” It’s like its written by a robot that’s trying to speedrun a novel with all the time skips. I don’t know if it improves later on. Chapter 30 is where I stopped. Midway through the second world.
The ending ruined a good book. characters are one dimensional, all best friends of MC either die or disappear from the story, having no more show time. no resolution for the promises or wishes of the MC to restore those who have died, or even the plot of the demon race. the ending switches up terms as well, making it confusing if he reached supreme realm and then the realm above that, which was the Sage realm. do you want to read it? yes, just imagine before reading the final chapter that the MC was caught by a supreme instead and was killed and refined. much better than this ending.
The novel is just constant acceleration. It's weird; because of the premise (you get to first simulate the life, get the major events which always seem to involve a bad start and a quick, tragic end, then you get to actually live out that life attempting to change your fate) the story can't be as quick and empty as a typical simulation novel, but it also doesn't go as indepth as something like 48 Hours A Day where each simulation is practically its own story. The result? The MC speedgrows into an adult by 6 years old, entire cities are built in a week, the entire world is conquered in a month, and in 4 years the world goes from late-stage capitalist hellhole to a thriving worldwide kingdom of science and cultivation. As for the cultivation, it's the boring kind of generic. At one point the MC gets a choice between 3 physiques, but they are all just different ways to say "you are invincible". A few different realms are mentioned and the MC catapults right past them. He randomly goes from referring to himself as a king to referring to himself as a god, and the whole thing is just kind of poorly done and generic, like a bunch of boxes get ticked for Sim/Cultivation/Character tropes but nothing gets enough attention or care.
Hello !! How many floors should a bag of rice have, how many floors should a bag of rice have, how much should you pay for a bag of rice, how much should you wash a bag of rice, each grain is muddy, to whom you gave a bag of rice! Spicy Tiansai! ! ! Jiraiya swimming in the sea of dragons and angelica, popsicles melting under the street lamp
i don't what up with everyone saying it's racist and all that. it's entertaining and what more do you want. and there is no racism if there is only one race. this novel mentioned the other nations in the first life. the rest are Chinese or have chinese names. its the multi verse why can't there be world's with just Chinese in them. we haven't fully explored the mainworld. right now novel is just starting to explore the mainworld. so just sit back, enjoy and stop nitpicking everything.
