The group fell silent as Lucius shared the news. They didn't have a deep relationship with the individuals involved, apart from meeting them a few times.

"We're finally back," Charlotte muttered, her eyes shining. It was already afternoon, and they looked forward to a much-needed shower and a comfortable sleep.

"It was quite a journey indeed," Kevin sighed.

Seeing their tired faces, and feeling exhausted himself, Lucius spoke up, "We will gather in two days and have a talk. For now, let's rest."

"Sounds good," they all nodded in agreement.

After giving a big stretch, he began to walk away from the group, with Lily and Kevin following closely behind before catching up.

As they walked through the city's streets, Lucius couldn't help but notice the significant changes. The people seemed stronger, bearing the marks of battles and fights on their bodies.
