chapter 1: reunion after death

Do you know about the legend about the 2 strongest characters that are named Diablo and Lucifer that can rival the Gods? Lucifer keeps on striving to overpower other strong creatures but he rarely sees being online, on the other hand, Diablo is more active than Lucifer but he's not interested in defeating strong creatures. The identity of the player that controls these characters is just a normal shut-in Era Of Warriors player and a certified otaku named... '' Touma please save me save me!!!" Touma woke up and said "another bad dream huh a dream about my girlfriend that is a victim of Raped and Robery, well for the change of mood I'm going to log in." He logged in at his Diablo account and noticed that someone is trying to pose a threat on his tower. He said "oh, you're a couple? Well there is no such thing as everlasting love so die!" They all disappeared. Suddenly the game system sent a message saying "to all players of Era Of Warriors we've been through a lot of hardships, adventures, Joys, and happiness. The creators decided that we need to shut down the game for good. It's due to a certain reason that put the game to an end. I know a lot of players will be mad at this news but this is our decision. It's for your good farewell warriors, it's nice having a great adventure with you." Touma said "what?! They are going to shut it down?!!" The system sent another mail and this contained the schedule of the shutdown and Touma said, "it's 3 weeks from now huh?"

A strange shadow shaped like a human appeared at the game and he said "at least the players are going all out to defeat me… Wait, he's not a player. He's a sword user but he's just a shadow and I can't see his profile, well maybe it's a game event for farewell." Suddenly the strange shadow stared at him directly through the screen the computer screen turned white and the shadow that he saw inside the game forced its way out of his computer. Touma couldn't believe what he was seeing and said "am I dreaming?" He tried to wipe his eyes to see if he was just hallucinating. After he did that, the computer screen went back to normal and he said "it was just a hallucination huuuh. It almost gave me a heart attack." Suddenly there's a voice that can be heard on his left side saying "die!!!" In a demonic voice. He noticed that everything was spinning around and he said "wait why is everything turning around?" Suddenly his vision stopped turning around and he saw his headless body laying down on his computer desktop he said: "I see, I was just dreaming huh?"

Suddenly he woke up in a dark place and asked "where am I?" He heard a voice echoing saying "master your awake at last!" That voice rushed towards him and he saw a crying girl in front of him and he said "please stop crying" and the woman said, "since it's my master's order I'll stop crying." She did her best to stop crying and she stopped.  He saw the face of the woman and said to himself "she looks like Rose 1 of my maids at zirius tower. Wait, they have the same body figure and voice is this for real? Maybe I'm dreaming." He slapped himself and said, "this is all real." He was curious about the woman so he asked "what is your name and why did you call me master?" The woman said, "my name is Rose the goddess of demons and I came from the zirius dungeon that was created by my master Diablo." He said "wait what?! You're lying, right? There's no way that my maids exist!!" He said these things with a surprised tone and the girl said "that's mean master, I'm telling the truth I'm real!" He said "there's no way that you are real. Rose just exists in the game." Rose was about to cry and Touma saw it. He wanted to stop her from crying and he said "alright if you were able to give a correct answer to my 2 questions I'll believe you." Rose said, "bring it on master."

Kazuya started and asked "First in real life what is my real-life full name? If you are Rose you'll be able to give the correct answer since Rose is the one that I've told about it." Rose immediately replied "it's Touma Kazuya am I, right master? You told me about it in secret after you gain the title of the king of the demon lords." Touma said to himself "it's all correct I confess to her everything about me behind my character just like how pathetic I'm in reality. I couldn't even protect what is important to me." He noticed that he was crying and he asked himself "wait, I'm crying but why? I thought I'd already moved on?" Rose noticed that he was crying and Rose asked "master why are you crying master?" He said, "oh it's nothing I just remembered the reason why I tell to Rose about it." Rose said, "I see." Touma said, "for my 2nd question, on my previous birthday celebration what did Rose wear at the show?" He said to himself "if I could remember at the show she is wearing a maid's outfit and it looks cute on her, wow." Rose answered "that time I was wearing a maid's outfit. I was trying my hardest to make you do some kind of things to me, you know what a man and woman do as for my birthday gift to you but you never made a move and just gave a strange look." He said to himself "wait for what?! Is that what Rose was thinking at that time?" Rose added "I was making your eyes stare at my melons but you're not staring." He said to himself "it was me who was staring that time not my character Diablo." Rose asked "is my answer correct master? Tell me Please!!!" While making a cute face. He answered "your answer is correct but I still doubt your identity as Rose." Rose asked "why? What should I do to make you believe me?" Touma said "I don't know. It's up to you to find out." He said to himself "actually I already believe her I just wanted to see how she would address the issue about it." The Rose said, "I'll let my master touch my body for inspection and find some clue about my similarities with Rose." Touma agrees to it while already thinking something perverted.

They did the inspection and Touma enjoys it a lot and said to himself "this is the best it's every man's dream to touch the private parts of a very cute sexy woman." Rose said "master can you please stop now? I'm not feeling comfortable." Touma said, "it will be over soon so don't worry." Touma said to himself "the way she moans is so cute too. Wow, you are the best Rose!" Rose said, "master I can't take it anymore!" Touma said, "it's done now I've already decided that you and Rose are the same, you are one." Rose said "hey!" Touma asked "by the way Rose, you said you're a God. How did you end up being a God?" She said, "my master surpassed the powers of the Gods, it's only natural for your subordinates to get stronger but not at the same level as you." He "I See" and he asked "by the way Rose where are we? Why is this place so dark?" Rose answered, "we're at the heart of your spiritual master." Touma said "heart of my spirit? Wait, I don't understand. What do you mean by the heart of my spirit?" Rose answered "heart of the spirit is the place where things that a person cherishes the most, except for the things that you can touch exist," Kazuya said, "so things that are important to me are stored here?" Rose replied, "yes master, you treasure only a few things and this is the game and your family so that's why it's so dark here." Kazuya said "family? I thought I can only store things that I can't touch and feel?" Rose said, "but your memories." Kazuya said, "I see I only have my memory of them huh, by the way, why do you have your m?" Rose said, "it's not just me who has my body form." Kazuya said "you mean Rory, Janna, Sebastian, and Rengar are here too?" Rose said "no master, all of them have returned to their realm after you mysteriously disappeared. A few years after that, a group of adventurers conquered the tower and slaughtered each one of us." Kazuya got mad after hearing this and said "I'll make them pay for what they have done."

Suddenly the ground started to shake and Rose said "that annoying dragon is coming." Kazuya said, "what do you mean by the dragon?" Suddenly a monstrous voice can be heard saying "master you're finally awake!" Its bare hands carried him whole and Kazuya saw the whole body of the creature that was carrying him and said "you're a dragon?!!" Rose said, "yes master, the one I'm with is Keros the shadow render black dragon or Bahamut." Kazuya remembered him so he asked: "Keros you're not angry at me right?" Keros asked, "what do you mean?" Kazuya said, "you know I'm Lucifer too, the one that defeated you so many times." Keros said "oh, about that, the reason I'm here is that I want to serve the creature that overpowered me. From now on you are my master." Kazuya was relieved about it. Kazuya is curious why they have access to his spiritual heart so he asked "how come you guys are here?" Rose said "I'm important to you master so that's why I was able to access this place after I died and besides I have no home or place to go after I die. After all, you're my creator master." Kazuya said, "I understand but Keros how was he able to get in here?" Rose answered "I pulled him here after he died.'' Kazuya said "you both died? How did that happen?" Rose said "the Gods found out that we were investigating your death master so they exterminated us after we kept on ignoring their warning." Kazuya said "that sounds fishy, why the hell do the Gods want to ignore my death?" Keros said "actually master, you're not the only one who died.'' Kazuya asked, "what do you mean not just me?" Keros answered "all the players and the creators of the game died at the same time you died, master. That's what we found out from our investigation." Kazuya said "the hell?!! Millions of people lost their lives and they wanted to ignore it?!"

Suddenly Kazuya realized something and said, "what if they are the mastermind of these mass killings?" Rose said, "maybe they are the masterminds but we don't have enough evidence to blame the Gods." Kazuya said, "can you guys tell me what you found out about your investigation?" Rose and Keros said, "yes master." Rose started the discussion and said, "after you died master, I stop gaining strength and power since you are my source." Kazuya said, "so how did you guys find out that I'm a player?" Rose said, "I found a book that gives us a lead about a certain portal that can be opened by any world regardless of the magic it possesses." Kazuya asked, "what is this book?" Rose said, "I can't read the book so I have Keros read it since its language is from old civilization and that is the time he was born." Kazuya asked Keros and said, "how old are you Keros?" Keros replied,  "I'm 1800 years old." Kazuya said "I see, I'm not going to ask Rose since I already know your age. If I could remember correctly you're 8 years old am I right?" Rose replied, "that was 10 years ago since you died, master." Kazuya was surprised about it and said "what?! I died 10 years ago?!!! I should experience a lot of things that long like s*x or just touching women's b**bs and pu*sy." He said these things while panicking. Rose said, "at least you were able to touch mine master." Kazuya said, "look, what I wanted to touch is the woman that I love but I never got the chance to do it since I'm dead already." Rose said, "so you don't love me, master?" Kazuya said to himself "I can't tell her that I don't love her that very deeply while she's giving me that kind of eye looks." Keros said "stop bothering our master it's already clear-" before he finish his words Rose said, "do you want me to give you a lecture?" She said this while giving a murderous aura. Kazuya asked, "What did the book say about the portal, Keros?" 

Keros answered, "the portal that we discovered was opened in your world and that was the time the game was created, master." Kazuya said, "so you're saying the game was the one that opened the portal?" Keros answered "yes master," Kazuya said and asked, "it's too good to be true, did the game creators find out that there is off about the game?" Rose answered, "yes master, the JSDF informed them that creatures from the game suddenly pop out in reality." Kazuya asked, "how did the creators react to it and how did they respond to the situation?" Rose answered "at first they didn't believe it until they've seen it with their own eyes. So as countermeasures, they cooperated with the JSDF but the officials told them they should just shut down the game before it gets worst so they did it. They've schedule the shutdown and slowly shutdown the servers." Kazuya said "that explains the mail that i receive it wasn't a fake one." Keros said "but the shutdown didn't make it because someone from our world discovered the portal and cast a large scale dark magic." Kazuya asked "and that attack was on a level of a God?" Rose said "yes master so we have the suspicion that the one that cast that magic is a demon lord or a God that is under the control of Seia." Kazuya asked "who is that Seia guy?" Keros said "he's the supreme God of darkness." Kazuya said "so this is the God that killed you guys?" Keros said "no master, it was the supreme God of light who exterminated us." Kazuya said "that's weird, why the Gods from the good side wished to stop you guys?" Rose replied "we don't know master but it seems that they are up to something too so that's why they stopped us." Kazuya asked "is there anything more i need to know?" Rose answered "right, after all of us have died Shera told us that the whole world plunge into chaos master." Kazuya was surprised and become speechless. Rose continued " few years after you died master. The population of monsters increased, zombies rises from their graves every year and the demon lords falls into a state of chaos due to your mysterious disappearance. " Kazuya said "the demon lords were the only creatures that I rely on and have fallen into such a state. I hope Vanitas can handle the situation." Keros said "let's just hope for the best master" Kazuya said "yeah but the time is so much short. I hope they managed to put this world back into its peaceful days" Rose said "there are a group of heroes that is led by the sword saint Aphelion that finishes the problems about the world except for the issue between the demon lords." Kazuya asked "what are this hero?" Rose replied "they were summoned by the churches to give aid to the humanity." Rose added "but in reality, their goal is to eliminate all the enemies of the Gods including you master." Kazuya said, "but I'm already dead though."

Rose started the discussion about Kazuya's reincarnation "since you're already awake master soon you'll be reincarnated. We planned to reincarnate you at your tower as Diablo." Kazuya asked, "why?" Keros said, "your equipment was all transferred to your dungeon as Lucifer." Kazuya asked, "what is the connection of that?" Keros answered, "we have a theory that the one that kills the players might be targeting you master and it might have the ability to track you." Kazuya said, "so it's for security purposes."

Suddenly the golden particles started to cover Kazuya and said "what is going on?" Rose answered, "your body starting to get you." Keros said, "master please don't be mad at us no matter what." Kazuya asked "why?'' Keros said "just don't be mad at us." Rose said "master please give our parting gift to you a good name." The golden particles took him away. Rose asked, "should we tell him that he will be reincarnated as a girl?" Keros said "Nah let him find it out on his own and besides Seraph will explain everything to him." Rose agreed and said, "you have a point we will just let Seraph do the explaining."
