Sneasel, there are 7 who stole the food, are assigned to the water area to make sure nothing clogs and help crying kids. 5 Eevee that are there are assigned to help kids stuck in the fun house. 2 Persian and Luxio will prevent any bullying from happening. 5 Venipede are tending to the garden together with 4 Ferroseed. Another 2 Ferroseed are looking after the steel area and creating a changing maze inside it. 4 Bunnelby help with serving the guests. Of course my parents Pokemon are supervisors and also take part in all those jobs.
A week down this new addition a few people request to groom one of the Pokemon. As long as the Pokemon are ok with it they can use the tools we have for grooming. If the Pokemon accepts they themselves will bring their own grooming tools to said child. Eevee are particularly popular for this, they also enjoy being groomed all day. Those who haven't been groomed by a kid that day get groomed by either Mav me or our parents.
Something else entirely Meditite has taken some inspiration from what I did during the battle between Absol and camp organizers and is working on creating a permanent sense bond. He notices that it is easier if the subject is willing to connect to this permanent bond. After a month of trial and error, there is a link between all my Pokemon and me. Even though I had the least amount of time to spend on this project my mind was the first to be added into this link.
Now you have to be wondering why I would study even though I should have a lot of knowledge about Pokemon already? Well that is easy, only 1000 children of age 10 are accepted into trainer school per city. Of course sometimes exceptions are made (donating the worth of the school in money for example helps) but theory exams do count for 50% of the points you can gain. The other 50% is practical, 25% is battling and another 25% is recognizing live Pokemon. Scoring in the top 1000 is very hard, about 10.000 kids will take part in the entrance examination, just in our city.
On august 20th our city starts the theoretical entrance exams. Those exams are done on a computer and checked by a Porygon. If you pass, meaning you beat half of the students, you can come back on the 21st of august to do the practical exam.
The theoretical exam was hard mostly because it was an exam of 3 hours and 10.000 questions. I however did manage to pass it, Mav did too. At the practical exam Both Mav and I saw a girl who was part of the first group to be tested. She dresses in skin tight pants and a sporty shirt. She has red hair styled like Hermione has in her first year in Harry Potter. She has a cute face and both Mav and I are attracted to her a lot. This girl comes outside of the room in about 20 minutes. Since both Mav and I are only in the 6th group to enter we decide to talk to her.
She has an easy going personality. We talk with her about who we are, who she is and what we like to do in our free time. We learn her name is Kira and that she currently only holds onto 2 Pokemon, both rare ones. She holds a Swablu, flying dragon type but will evolve into a dragon fairy type, and a Frogadier, a water type that adds a dark type when evolving. Froakie is in my opinion the best water starter Pokemon you can gain in the games. Kira seems to choose her Pokemon based on how she sees them, cute ones get priority but she will also try to have all typings in her team. Last thing we learn is that she come to this town about a year ago and bought a small mansion, where she lives together with her butler. We invite her to our house after the exams and she happily agrees after calling her butler.
Just when we try to get to know her on a deeper level we get called to do our exams. I enter a room and here is a teacher, he asks me to release my Pokemon to check on their health. Instead of pulling out any Poke-balls I just whistle. The teacher seems to get annoyed at my lack of action for 10 seconds till all of a sudden Houndoom slowly emerge from my shadow, a Pidgeot flies to the window which vanishes suddenly to allow entrance for Pidgeot and a Meditite teleports together with a Nidorino to my side.
"My apology teacher, but I don't keep my Pokemon in their balls unless I have no other option, and as you can see I can summon them anytime." I say while bowing my head.
"No problem Vailein, isn't it?" I nod in response to this "I just didn't expect that someone has this well trained Pokemon before the age of 10 that is all. Now all you have to do is battle one of my Pokemon."
The teacher pulls out a Poke-ball and releases a Tyranitar, it looks very sturdy and tanky. Since it is a pseudo legendary Pokemon it requires a lot of food, but at the same time grows into peak pseudo king strength naturally when it is just fully grown.
"If you can beat this Tyranitar you basically pass automatically." the teacher encourages.
'Houndoom I know it is risky but we need to attempt dark fire, that is the only attack that can break it's defence' I send over the mental link.
