"There is a big difference between your Scissors claw armor and the Righir armor obviously but since there are very few treasures from the other world in circulation at the moment I'm willing to buy it from you at 100 000 US dollars. What do you think ?"

The world started spinning around Elliot, he had already lowered his expectations to 10k$ after he saw the Righir armor's stats and attached skill but it was actually 5 times higher than his first expectation !

"I'm sorry young man but I can't go any higher, the value of your armor lies in it's rarity but if similar or better armor starts appearing then it's value will fall to nothing in no time."

"It's ok. I'll take your offer."

That was a sum Elliot had never owned ! After high school he had started working small jobs to help his dad pay for his mom's hospital bills and every month he gave almost everything he had to his dad, together they could barely keep on living and paying for his mom's hospital bills. Now however ? The hospital bills were 2000 US dollars a month, with this money he would be able to pay for his mom's hospital bills for the next 50 months !

"Very good choice young man, leave me your bank account informations here and the money will be deposited in the next hour."

After saying that the old man and the young man still wearing the armor left the prefab building and were left inside only Elliot who didn't know how to react, the smiling second-lieutenant Yale and the flabbergasted Oliver. The guy in front of him had just made 100 000$ in a week since the breach has been opened!

"Elliot your luck is insane ! I wish I could make money as easily as this... and then I wouldn't need to stay in the ar—"

Suddenly Oliver seemed to remember that he and Elliot weren't alone here and didn't know how to avoid finishing his sentence, his superior was right there and he was about to curse the army...

"Uhmm... excuse me I forgot I still had something to do !"

As fast as a lightning bolt Oliver left and Elliot was left alone with the second-lieutenant, he didn't want to leave until he got a notification about the money being transferred so he left his phone charging and sat down there.

The second-lieutenant also didn't care and went back to his stuff, he sat down on his computer and started typing.

Just like this an hour went by and Elliot who was dozing off was woken up by the loud sound of his phone vibrating atop a table.

Elliot didn't need anymore and bid farewell to the second lieutenant who just smiled, he didn't know yet but he would have more and more contact with Elliot in the incoming months.

Elliot picked up the charger that Oliver had lent him and left it to his superior, finally he could make the call home that he had been waiting to do for as long as he had been out of the breach.

Beep beep beep

After three rings the call was answered and he heard an immature voice on the other side.

"Big bro ? Is that you ?"

"It's me Timmy, how are you doing ?"

"DADDY IT'S BIG BRO !!! I'm doing good ! What about you ? Are you coming back soon ?"

The first yell of his younger brother surprised him and he couldn't help but laugh out loud, he didn't release it until now but he really needed to realize this pressure that had build up inside him during the last few days.

His life had been really fast paced during this week as he wanted to take advantage of his early discovery of the gaming system behind the breach but hearing his brother's voice helped him relax.

"Hey Timmy, shouldn't you be sleeping ?"

As Elliot was calling around 3:30PM in Sydney, in his hometown In Canada the time should have been around 11:30PM.

"Hehe it's ok daddy said I can stay late because school is closed tomorrow!"

Elliot checked what day it was and he realized he had completely forgotten about week ends and stuff in the other world, he had left on Sunday and today it was Saturday, in the blink of an eye 6 days had went by.

"Pass me the phone Timmy."

Elliot heard his dad's hoarse voice talking to his little brother and he felt bad for a second, he had left home for 6 days already and had worried his dad and probably his mom too because he knew that his dad couldn't lie to her so he had probably told her everything.

"Big bro come home soon okay ? Bye bye !"

"Take care of dad Timmy, I'll talk to you later."

"Okay I'll pass you dad !"

"Hey Elliot, I'm surprised you're still alive."

"Hahah don't joke around dad, who would die so easily ?"

"So how did it go inside ? Did you give and up your stupid idea ?"

"I didn't dad, I sold a treasure I found inside for a good sum of money. I'll transfer it to you and go back inside."

"How much is a good sum of money ? With 4000$ we would be able to release some pressure and live in tranquility for 2 months so how about you come back already ?"

"Don't worry dad, it isn't as dangerous as you think inside there. Wait for the money to come in I'll be going back inside after I eat and sleep."

"Elliot... be careful son."

"Okay, take good care of Timmy and mom dad. I love you."

"Love you too son, don't die."

The next day Elliot woke up from his first tranquil sleep in a week and felt completely relaxed, in the breach he was never able to sleep comfortably because monsters could come at him anytime but here he could sleep as deeply as he wished.

He picked up his phone and saw a text from his dad.

[Son what's all this money ? Did the bank make a mistake ? They sent us 100 000 dollars !]

Elliot laughed and unlocked his phone to answer

[Don't worry about that and use that money to make mom, Timmy and yourself comfortable. That's the money I won in the breach.]

Hmm...?

When he was done answering Elliot realized that the three small dots of the menu were still in his peripheral vision.

He focused on it and just like inside the breach the menu appeared !
