10 Memory File And Memory Folder

Alister commented as he discovered that his simulated self seemed to have hit the jackpot in his love life.

But before Alister could envy the self in the simulation, a notification sound rang in his mind.

"What's a memory file?" Alister asked the system as soon as he read the text displayed on the system screen.

Alister noticed that there was an added feature in the system's display menu. Before, there were only buttons which were [Simulation], [Status], and [Inventory].

But now, a button called [Memory Folder] has been added to the system's display menu. When Alister pressed that button, a file manager-like interface was displayed on the system screen with one memory file which was his recently acquired memory file.

As soon as Alister finished checking up on the new feature of his system, the system replied to him.

[The system will ensure that the host won't feel as if his simulated self cheated on the host.]

[It is worth noting that the host's self in the simulation is not that much different from the host and it is like the host seeing the future events of traveling to another world but in the form of texts.]

[So the system will create memory files whenever the host's self in the simulation performs any romantic advancements and it will be saved in the memory folder.]

[Of course, if an event such as the host's self in the simulation is going to have sex with a girl, the system will allow the host to have a partial full-dive simulation. During the partial full-dive simulation, the host's consciousness will enter the simulation and replace the self in the simulation.]

[During partial full-dive simulation, the time in the host's real world will be stopped so the host can have as much fun as he wants to. Not to mention, even after the host finishes the deed, it will still be recorded as a memory file in the memory folder so the host can still replay it if he wants to.]

Hearing the system's explanation, Alister was moved to tears after recognizing the system's thoughtfulness.

To test whether the system's words were true or not, Alister went to the memory folder and viewed his first memory file which was titled 'First Kiss With: Lynn Conway, Zombie Girl Edition'.

When Alister viewed that memory file, a bunch of memories flooded his mind. Whether it was the time he flirted with Lynn and kissed her or the time their tongues battled against each other and exchanged their saliva with each other, Alister remembered all of it.

"This is quite interesting. It is as if I was the one participating in it and the memory file is just a way to recover such memories of mine. Even the sensation felt so surreal."

At first, Alister was envious of the self in the simulation. But now, he didn't need to.

After all, from his system's words, it seemed that both he and the self in the simulation were identical individuals. Just that, the self in the simulation was from the future and that future was when he was transmigrated into that world.

In other words, Lynn doesn't necessarily need to eat human flesh but just needs to recover the energy consumption of the zombie viruses in her body by taking more zombie viruses.]
