More Than Less

[Pandora point of view]

"What shall I do now that Li Jun left? Huh..." Arthur signed deeply. I definitely could say he was not fine with what just happened, but not even he knows why. It seemed like Asami would not be there for some time. "Why don't we go back in, Arthur?" I suggested to him.

"Let's wait for a little more. If he doesn't come then, let's head inside?"

Not long after that and before we go in, someone's steps were coming from inside the shop toward the door. "It must be Alden." Arthur was convinced.

"You guys are still here" It was Alden's voice, but when we both, I and Arthur, turned towards him... It was a young guy; in his 20s probably. He wasn't the old man, Alden Silver, we saw not long ago. From the shock, we kept on blinking constantly while looking at him. Who was he? He did look familiar though.

"Hahe," He knew he took us with a surprise," You guys should see the expression on your faces. I told you I was in my 20s. Now you believe me." He pulled his hands out of his pockets with a cigarette between his fingers. He lighted his cigarette with a lighter he was carrying in his other hands and took a deep breath then blew the smoke out of his lungs. "Would you like a smoke?" He invited Arthur.

"I don't smoke." Arthur's eyes were filled with mixed feelings: sadness, pity, and some other feeling.

"What about you Pandora? You'd like to join me, don't you?"

"You know we, KEYs, can't smoke."

"Look at me losing my partners one by one. That Asami... Where did she and Ain go?" he took another breath.

"He left after 'Lloyd' and Ain is with him" Arthur replied.

"'Lloyd' who?"

"We don't know. She said said "It was him. Lloyd" and ran" [Pandora]

I just could not stop looking at Alden Sliver. Was that really him? He looks years younger than what he was an hour ago.

"I know you really would like to have your time now. But how did you get younger?"

"I don't mind you guys speaking to me while..." he moved his hands to point out his cigarette," And the question is how did I get older? I didn't. It's just what I can do; adapt to what I think is more fitting to my situation. I did not want Asami to see me this way now. I'm saving it for the special day when I will meet her in the Golden House." He started dreaming about his visit to the Golden House once again.

I sometimes wondered if he really was wise, or was he just an idiot acting to be who is wise.

"He knows more than what you think Arthur," Asier answered my inner thoughts.

"Arthur... B-Pandora" Alden slowly rotated his cigarette on the surface of a solid stone he had beside him, "Let's go inside. I have something to show you guys."
