1 ~Awakening~

A title that carries power, people who awoke to a new kind of strength, sitting at the pinnacle of this world , they are the Awakened.

But their are also people who are even more of an elect few, born without the ability to even use [Mana]. The [Ungifted] they are looked down on and shunned in the society as worthless, a title that you can never escape from once you've been tagged as one.

And he was one of them and what was worse was that he was the only one in his family who was an Ungifted. You will think that is was bad enough, but no, it wasn't that they where just ungifted but also awakened and talented ones at that.

Growing up in that kind of family he got a title that as shadowed him all his life.

"Cane Family trash"

Bearing the title of the family trash he grew up timid and weak, developing a fear for people. By the time he was starting high school he already shut himself from the world and his family.

the only thing he did was to spend his time dabbling in Mana techs, Unknowing of his tremendous talent,

by the time he was supposed to be in his second year of high school, his knowledge of Mana based technology already reached a master level, he later found a research on force awakening and immediately started creating a machine meant for force awakening.

Knowing that what he was doing was dangerous, kelvin was reluctant in using it but remembering all the suffering he endured and also the suffering he caused his family kelvin strengthened his resolve and without any hesitation he connected himself to the machine.

As he activated it a large amount of energy surge through his body causing him a great amount of pain, almost losing consciousness due to the pain a gold light shined brightly from a mark on his body for a moment then diming down leaving him unconscious.

*huff* *huff*

"What happened..."

Looking anxiously around him. In a white room which seemed to have no end.

"what his this place?"

"Am i drea... Augh!!"

All of sudden a great pain erupted in his head, he then started seeing memories he never had experiencing a life he didn't live, all in mere minutes he a lived a second life, but the that life was completely different in many ways, the experiences he had, the life's that where lost to him, his unending regrets, his strengths, his fears and the strong hatred he had where all different. The only thing that was the same was his life of solitude, blocking any form of relationship, he lived a lonely life to the very end.

A flash of light suddenly swept the room, the next thing he knew when he opened he was looking up at a ceiling wall, looking at his surrounding he figured out where he was.

"ah... A hospital? How did I get here"

"mom! mom! kelvin's awake"

shouting from the far right corner of the room he saw his little sister waking up his little brother and his mom. As he looked at his mom's haggard face shine with relief, bent up emotions bursted out, with tears coming down his eyes kelvin regretted every thing he had done to cause worry for his family.

"Kelvin are you ok? is anything wrong? do u feel pain anywhere?"

Seeing his mother flustered worrying about him like this even with all the problems he caused he smiled at his mom.

"No mom I'm okay, I was just happy to see you"

"oh my"

flustered, his mom hugged him out of happiness of those words.

"my son, you know I'm here for you whenever you need me, so... please don't shut us out anymore"

he knew from the expression she had that she has always wanted to say those words but couldn't. At that moment he decided it was time to change and live completely different from the way he had been living in the past and that the mistakes he made in his past won't be repeated.
