Epilogue- Looking Into The Future

10 years later

For the tenth year anniversary of Ryo Nozomi's defeat and the eradication of the demon lord, Kyona had invited all her friends to join for a tea party at the newly rebuilt kingdom of Larginia in the castle, while everyone was having fun, Kyona and Lyonlu went out to mourn the deaths of the people and friends Kyona knew, that died that month of March, ten years ago.

"Kaito, Mimi, B00K3, Babylone, Celesta, Brother." Kyona cried as she listed off her deceased friends names over their graves. Lyonlu was there to comfort her and said "I'm sure they are in some place like a heaven of sorts, having fun like we are now."

After the party, everyone else went home, Klawe included, she went back to Maplee.

Then Kyona rested her arms on the castle balcony and Lyonlu asked "What are you thinking about?"

Kyona responded, "I'm thinking about what the future has in store for us. I wonder if we can ever have automated machines and become like a virtual character, like our virtual reality, if science advanced that far, it would be very amazing!"

Lyonlu said as she began to shout, "Maybe. Maybe the future holds such a thing and we will become virtual and our lives would become easier with the automated machinery, instead of manually having to turn the fuckin' cranks, breakin' your fuckin' back! Who knows, right?"

Kyona said "Yep! If we did, I would want Klawe and the others to be there with us too! Then, we can all have fun together and we can look at the amazing advancements of the country!

"That would be a fun future huh? Well, Kyona, one day it might just happen."

"Yeah!"

A figure was watching by in the distance at the two, she had bright red and yellow highlight strands medium-length hair, up in one ponytail, with a big black hairband and straight cut bangs and red eyes. She wore a black t-shirt with the sleeves ripped and bottom of the t-shirt, as well as being singed slightly and over an orange flame it read in red, Kaji in Kanji, the Japanese word for fire. She wore black wristbands with silver studs on them and black knee-high socks that exposed most of her thighs, they were also ripped and slightly singed at the top. She wore a black skirt which was slightly ripped and also singed at the bottom as well as a black belt with spikes on it. She had amber fingernails and her horns were not very big. Her name was Homura Mochizuki, an Oni. She watched from afar at the two, admiring them and she chuckled to herself.

"Guess I gotta get stronger to be up there with them, 'cause they ain't gonna notice me otherwise." She thought as she headed into the underground dungeon with her massive axe to train.

And so, our story of how Kyona won against the notorious enemies, Ryo Nozomi, the commanders and the demon lord has come to an end. What is the next chapter of Kyona and Lyonlu's story? Only time will tell.
