Double date - Part 1
At a normal Country Club in Los Angeles, Inna and with Esteban have been teleported there thanks to this system. These two friends have come today here to do a double date, after the discussion they had yesterday at the Bar. Inna and with Esteban are dressed like how any Country Club members are dressed, the golf players to be precise. These clothes are just "uniforms" which the system are putting automatically on them in order to join the Country Club. You cannot go in underwear and play golf. This is a VR Game, not a game made by Rockstar Games.
As they are waiting for the two people to come and play golf with them, Inna sees that Esteban is shaking up. Inna goes at him, and she tries to fire him up, and it works, it made Esteban feels calm, but then, he starts to shake again after he sees the girl she is going today on the date, or a double date because she brought a man with her.
Tanya is the girl Esteban is dating, and the person she come with, is a man. Esteban is glad that Tanya decided to take a man with her, and not a girl. Plus the man she brought along, he looks quite attractive, but Inna sees the man.
"Hey!" she says normally yo that man.
"Hey!" says the man, and he shakes Inna hand. "My name is Ulric!"
"Inna." she responds to him.
"This is Inna?" says Tanya to Esteban, which Esteban only nodded. Tanya looks at Inna she shakes her hand and tells her. "Nice to meet you."
"So... Are we all ready for some golf?" says Esteban to the three players.
"Sure." says Ulric spawning on his hands a golf club he bought from the interior shop of that Country Club.
The other three players are equipping their free golf clubs they've got for entering the Country Club. They then go to a Golf cart, which it is driven by an NPC. Why? Because it is not a good idea to let a player drive it, especially since the texture here are extremely expensive and much more fragile, like that coconut file that it is still making Team Fortress 2 work after many years of being neglected.
At the first hole, they decided to start from the ladies to men. Inna is the first one. She puts the golf ball into the position, and she prepare her golf club. She takes a swing and she hit it. The ball flies to the hole, but it lands at a distance of twenty meters. Just to clarify, she shoot a golf ball from almost Sixty meters, and she is a beginner at this sport. She goes after the ball, and she hit from where it has stopped. The ball rolls to the hole, but it did not enter it. She walks to that ball, and she sees the ball it is only at three meters from the hole. She proceed to hit it slowly, but the ball stopped, at ten centimeters from the hole. She let out a "Fuck!", and she hit much more slowly. The ball goes into the hole. The players are clapping for her, to show it she really did a good job for a first timer. This hole required only three shots to get a good score, and she only did four shoots.
Next turn it is Tanya. She shoot the ball, and it landed in the hole. She only did that on only one shoot, which is impressive and truly amazing for newbies at golf, but to the experts and people who casually plays it, it was only a great shoot on the easy mode.
The boys did it good there too, Esteban and Ulric managed to hit the hole by only using two shoots. Then, a holographic scream appears on the sky. It is huge, and it shows the name ad faces of the players who are playing on this Country Club. Inna sees she got the most points, and she whispers to Esteban.
"Does the most points means I am good?"
"Nah. You are bad." says Esteban whispering, then he sees her looking at him with a bad look. "No hard feelings?"
"Maybe not on this server." whispers Inna to him.
"Good job, everyone!" says Ulric. "Not bad for a first game."
"Agree." says Tanya and she looks at Inna. "It's this your first time here."
"Yeah." says Inna walking with the other players into the golf cart who will deliver them to the second hole. "I've been joined this server for almost a month."
"And you manged to get the hang of it?" asks Ulric toward Inna.
"Yes. I started to get a use of it."
"Great." says Ulric. "Are you excited about the new update? It will come tomorrow?"
"Update? What update?" asks Esteban.
"What? You guys do not get the e-mail they sent it to you?"
"Probably." says Inna to him. "I did not checked the e-mail, but what is the update about?"
"They say they are going to select nine players to make them testers of a new server. A server where you can race with cars, bike, parkour, anything."
"That sounds cool." says Inna happy. "I will most likely join if they would select me."
"Don't get your hopes up." says Tanya toward Inna. "Selecting only nine players from thousands of players registered, the probability isn't so high."
The players arrived at the second hole. They get out of the car, and they start to swing their golf clubs in the order they started.
