Coffee and paycheck
When Gus was disconnected from the game, cause of the capsule running out of power, he quickly put the capsule on recharge, by putting a charger from the left side of the capsule, situated on a table next to a mug with Mountain Dew. He takes the cable from the charge, he inserts the part is using to flow the energy into the capsule, on the left side which is written with big letters "Charging Zone", next to the "Massaging zone" (this capsule has an also a function to do massage the players, but it requires a big amount of energy). After he did that, and he puts the charger into the snuff, he waits a bit until the computer of the capsule will say.
"Recharging in progress... The approximate time of complete recharge it is... three hours."
"Three hours? It should have been faster, but eh. At least I got time to take my coffee and paycheck."
Yes, today, our first main character will get his monthly paycheck which consists of the amount of one thousand dollars. A short salary, but Gus he doesn't mind because at least he got a capsule which values thirty or forty times his salary.

After he finished taking his new clothes, he takes the keys to the house, his phone and leaves the apartment. Then, he locks the main door, and he goes to the closest "Cafe" to buy a nice coffee.
Gus will not have to go to a bank to withdraw a check or go to the company he is working for. He has got his money right on his credit card, like always.
After he left the building, he walks to the Cafe which is three blocks away, and he looks around because today it is a sunny day. But he saw on the streets not many people, which is something quite weird because at this time it used to be plenty of people, but then he remembers what was happening in the video game is testing. The NPCs in video games are walking around the streets like the ones with the same behavior from GTA, Saints Row, MDickie games, Assassins Creed, and any other open-world games. They are walking to make the area much more populated, and sometimes making the missions much harder because some missions in the game require to protect the civilians who are with their eyes on the phone and ignore a dragon who is spitting fire on the streets or a naked Viking-girl who wanted to kill any civilians because his husband has cheated her to a cactus Viking lady. This game is getting quite wild when the developers are smoking or listen to some random 80s music. And don't even start me at that time when a developer was watching Jojo and he thought adding an army of Dio on an Apocalyptic server will be a good idea... It was an awesome and terrible idea at the same time.

Gus enters the "Cafe" and he saw there three people besides the cashier, who is a lady in her twenty with a ponytail, dressed in usual cashier uniform, wears a pair of big glasses which looks like the one Mia Khalifa is wearing when she is doing her... thing... Gus ignores the rest of the people there, and he goes to a table where nobody was sitting and he is waiting for the cashier to come at him and take the order.
When the cashier has come, he asks Gus.
"The usual?"
"The usual," replied Gus because he is going almost every day to this place to drink a coffee after he completed a hard-working day in the other world.
The cashier notes the order of Gus and he goes to this coffee station, preparing a nice black coffee for Gus, which will enjoy while he is going to read a work from Webnovel. When he opened the Webnovel app with his smartphone, he saw an interesting work in the recommendation tab, called God of Immortals, the one series that will be about to gain a television adaptation, due to the popularity of this novel. He got interested, and he decides to read the first chapter of the story. It seemed good, so he checks the second one, he likes it, and right when he was about to check the third one, the cashier appeared at his table, he brought his coffee.
"It costs you three dollars." responds the cashier to Gus who is putting his phone down and he is checking his wallet to see if he got three dollars bucks.
"Sure," says Gus handing the cashier three dollars.
"Enjoy your coffee." says the cashier in a monotone voice and going back to her place, the coffee station.
Gus takes a sip of the coffee and he likes it. It tastes like always, not too sour and not too sweet, it has a balancing taste. Gus drinks the whole cup in a few seconds and he continues reading. He was drinking that fast because the cashier knows he doesn't like a hot coffee, he rather like a cold one cause the hot one is always making his teeth hurt.

A few minutes later, he leaves the Cafe and he is going to the park where he will just stay there, on the bench and looking around, or reading "God of Immortals". And while he is walking to the street, he got a message from his friend to log into the game and help them fight against a monster, but he will check the message when he arrives at the Park. You know it is not safe walking on the streets and looking at your phone at the same time.

Meanwhile, on the Virtual World, in Texas, in a zone called Hostyn, three players, are dealing with a few zombies who are coming to them, and the three people who are there is also one of his friend, George, and this one is going to have a hard time fighting one of these zombies because this is the first day working as a developer to this kind of video game, and he is level one. But the other people there are good co-workers and they are level twelve, so this will not be that hard, but fighting against fifty zombies is still a hard job.
George was trying to call him, and even gave him a message but he did not pick the phone, so now, he is going to fight those zombies with other people instead of the one who really helped him get into this job.
