42 Chapter 42
(Warning: I will change the sound effects according to your damage. So now the *BOOM* and other sounds will be simple, but the real damage caused will be described more. If I had to explain it, then see it as the rise of "Deathwing" that caused the cataclysm in Azeroth... that's how powerful the attacks should be to be worth using. I flew quickly and it took almost nothing to put the "Guardians" back near the "Elemental Lords".
"All right, this is your stop."
I said with a barely contained laugh.
-I know it's bad timing and the joke is bad, but I can't help it.

-It's so relaxing to finally be able to joke again. I just want to be me.
"Not that you plan to help us?"
Tyr said.

We walked away again and both of us threw a fireball at each other. Both exploded into each other, though.
I spoke again in Kalimag.
"Hahaha, that's all you got, Ragnaros? ..."
I looked at him defiantly.
"I'm not as weak as I used to be. You won't be able to walk all over me anymore."
"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, you're just hiding your true self, are you afraid your new allies will know what you really are!"
Again I rushed forward, closing the distance in an instant. But even so, Ragnaros fought back.
"I'm not hiding from anyone!"
*BOOM* X7
I threw multiple mudballs. Attacks I had prepared specifically to deal with Ragnaros.
"Aaarggg!"
"What's the matter Ragnaros, did those little attacks hurt you?"
I scoffed.

"Ha-ha-ha, you attack me with borrowed powers, "Traitor". Your attacks are nothing, BEFORE MY FIRE!"
Ragnaros soon began to burn more intensely.

And he quickly sent towards me, some lava balls. But don't block his attack.
Still, the attacks were blocked by Tyr and Odyn. Both had come back into the fray.

But soon the land began to sink again and the water began to move toward everyone.
"Suffer the fury of the storm, Traitor!"

"How dare you, you treacherous insect!"
Ragnaros' fire burned brighter and brighter with every moment. And soon a rain of lightning rained down on everyone. Forcing the "Guardians" who were already on the defensive to retreat further.
Many hit me, but were easily absorbed by me.

I said without turning my eyes and feeling how the wind lord's anger only increased and increased.

The water began to flow downhill rapidly. Filling the place with more and more water.
-It's getting worse all the time. Now we're even lower than the water level, I'm sure the same wave will be crashing down on us soon.
"They have to stop the water. If this continues, a lot of water will fall on us."
Now that the "Guardians" were free from Al'Akir's continuous attacks, which were becoming more and more frequent. Now they could begin to deal with Therazane and Neptulon.

However, Ragnaros pushed Tyr and Odyn away, approaching me. I was standing, acting as a lightning rod.

I mocked the fire lord.
"I'm so glad to be so important to you."
Ragnaros charged towards me with a pillar of lava that rose up just below me, bringing me closer to him. All the while lightning continued to strike towards my location.
-This looks familiar.
And before he hit my head with his hammer, I blocked his arm with a tentacle. And I lashed out with a blow of my fist on his chest.
"AARRGHH"
Cry of pain.
"How dare you touch me, you insect!"
He roared at me.
"I dare and what will you do about it? "
I told him with a smirk after he walked away from me.
"You will be purified!"
Again a large amount of lava shot out at me. But this time I was prepared, so I simply absorbed the attack by fixing myself to the ground.
"Die insect!"
Ragnaros had approached quickly, but before he arrived, two attacks struck his back.
"AARRGHH... You slaves, stay out of this!"
And he sent multiple fireballs in their direction.
*BOOM* X8
They were easily blocked and their fire resisted.
And taking advantage of the fact that Al'Akir was now busy dealing with the "Guardians" again and his attack had stopped, I took the opportunity to cut Ragnaros' back with my sword.
"AARRGHHH!"
-That must have hurt a lot.
I could feel his pain and anger, which was increasing with every moment.
"Watch out, it's going to explode!"
I shouted, before continuing to slash at his back. Although after I made a second cut, a huge amount of lava rose up around Ragnaros and forced me away, pushing me away.
*FWOOSH* (rising swell)
-They haven't been able to stop Neptulon yet.

Then spikes of earth appeared, forcing us to move and get away from Ragnaros.

"Actually, I know I did make you angry. You're just an arrogant fool who doesn't know how to accept defeat."
I told him with a big smile.
-Aaah *sigh* I feel a great weight lift from my shoulders. I didn't know that wanting to tell someone the truth to their face could put so much pressure on me.....
At my answer Ragnaros only smiled and kept silent.
- Why isn't he attacking?
And I turned quickly to see how a huge amount of water began to fall towards us. I could only watch as Loken and Mimiron created magical defenses and earthen walls to stop as much water as they could.
*SIGH*
I turned to Ragnaros with a smile.
"Very good."
And flying at high speed I lashed out at Ragnaros.
*BOOM*
Clashing our weapons again.
"Don't worry Ragnaros, this time you're coming with us."
And with my tentacles I grabbed his being and rose quickly towards the huge amount of falling water. And I shouted.
"Lift a mountain to where I am!"
Soon a large pillar of earth was rising below me.
"How dare you!"
Ragnaros shouted. I had grabbed Ragnaros and was preventing him from escaping, forcing my sword into his chest.
"You felt the damage my sword was doing to you, didn't you?"
I smiled at him.
"If you don't want it to consume your being, you'd better fight for it."
*Laughter
"Besides, don't you enjoy our dancing in the air...? It's too bad our date is destined to be ruined by a storm."
It had reached the water and crashed into the falling tons of water.
I could see and feel how Ragnaros was resisting and raising his fire. At the same time he was trying to break free from my grip. But this time I used my tentacles to pierce the areas where they were holding on and consume their elemental energy.
"AAGHH" (underwater scream).
And I laughed as I allowed us to fall towards the pillar with all the weight of the water pushing us down.
"Dirty insect Traitor!"

The battle with our new ally had started to get a little out of control.
-I can understand that it's pissing off the enemies, but I honestly don't think it's helping much.

-The fight is getting faster and faster and the attacks are dropping all the time. This doesn't seem to be working.
Soon we were forced to block the lightning strikes. And the provocative shouts of our ally.
"Come on Ragnaros, Fight!"
*BOOM*
"I will force you to kneel before me, traitor!"
*BOOM*
"Hahaha, you're too weak for that Ragnaros. But if you really want to make it then, try harder!"
"How dare you, you treacherous insect!"
We could all hear their interactions. And we understood that this battle was not just any battle. The hatred and rancor we felt in them was great.
-Even so, our ally is powerful. The attacks don't seem to affect him.
"They hardly do anything, Al'Akir."
And soon he called me.
"TYR!"
I listened attentively to his call, and before I could ask.
"I will defend them from the storm, help me defeat Ragnaros."
I hesitated for a moment.
-This new ally is too bold... but I like him. And with a smile I left my defense and ventured against "Ragnaros", as I called him.
But before I could get close enough to join the fight.

"They have to stop the water. If this continues we'll get a lot of water coming down on us."
spoke our fast ally. But now we could move again, although the water did not help us to get closer. And when we managed to start attacking "Ragnaros", the amount of power he had accumulated pushed me and Odyn away. Who had also risked to approach the enemy.

I watched as "Ragnaros" quickly approached our ally.

Then I saw how he was thrown by an attack. Forcing him to approach "Ragnaros" who was now awaiting his arrival with his weapon at the ready.

I thought in awe and in praise of his fighting ability.
And watch as with one of his tentacles, he avoided being attacked and using the thrust he hit it with his fist.
"AARRGHH"
-That's quite a fight.
My blood boiled at the sight.
"How dare you touch me, you insect!"
Ragnaros roared.
"I dare and what will you do about it?"
-Fearless and bold.
A smile was on my face as we approached to help.
"You will be purified!"
Again Ragnaros tried to push it towards him, but failed.
"Die insect!"
He tried to hit it by coming closer, but we were close. We had managed to reach them despite the increasing amount of water that prevented us from moving quickly.
"AARRGHH... You slaves, stay out of this!"
Angry, he sent some fireballs that we blocked.
*BOOM* X8
-Their fire is not powerful enough to do great damage.
And before Ragnaros turned around, he cried out in pain.
"AARRGHH!"
-That was a good attack.
Soon I could feel his fire increasing and his power surging.
"Watch out, it's going to explode!"
The new ally warned us. Who just kept hitting it, until a huge amount of lava and fire erupted, pushing us all away.
*FWOOSH* (rising swell)
-They are not managing to contain all the water.
I thought as I watched everything get worse.
*CRACK* X15
Then, earth spikes appeared, forcing us to dodge.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, you're still a mere minion, Traitor, do you really think your taunts can anger me, you're nothing."

-Wow... he really likes to mess with them.
And as we tried to approach again, I watched as "Ragnaros" did nothing..." ...
-Something feels wrong.
I looked up and realized why. A huge amount of water was falling towards us.
-Neither Loken nor Mimiron could contain so much water...
"Very good."
I listened and turned to look at our ally. Only to observe how he had approached swiftly towards "Ragnaros".
*BOOM*
Their attacks were crushed.
"Don't worry Ragnaros, this time you're coming with us."
He said, before clinging to his enemy and flying quickly towards the approaching water.
Clenching my fist, I thought.
-I also want to fight now.
"Lift a mountain to where I am!"
I shouted, so I just looked for someone to help, but it was Archaedas who quickly raised a large pillar of earth.
"How dare you!"
Soon the cries of Ragnaros sounded high in the distance.
After a while the pillar shook.
*BOOM*
And then it started to fall apart.
I readied my hammer, for I felt that the battle was just beginning.
-This ally does everything at his own pace, but he is undoubtedly a brave warrior.
I was ready and excited for what was to come.
Author's Note: A small survey. It's inevitable that the MC will have a Harem now. I hadn't planned for it to happen, but that's the way things are in life... nothing ever goes quite as planned... So, I ask you. How many wives should the MC have?... Below are the options.
And I must warn you, I don't want there to be too many of them, so I will simply take this as a way to "study" you... XD.
Conclusion. I don't know how many there will be, but there won't be many, at least more than 2 if there will be... probably.

By the way, Sylvanas is not much to my taste... I don't know why others like her so much. But maybe it's because I need to do more research on her. Although honestly, she's not ugly and I understand that, even being a vengeful spirit, she has a very attractive shape... I like her eyes and her voice. Her voice attracts me a lot if I'm honest... XD. Her personality... well, a little bit.
(One last thing. The MC won't be SIMP... I mean, I'm not even sure what it means XD. But I can imagine it, so I'll say. The guy has been "lonely" for a long time, so it's probably not as easy as everyone and himself thinks, that he can comfortably and relaxedly approach someone... Do you know that a person who has lived alone for a long time can get used to loneliness even though he wants company...? That, together with the fact that sometimes people just don't know how to live with a different person, with different tastes and actions, is what can cause divorce... Besides, the MC is not stupid, I think he should be able to know if being with someone suits him or not... Otherwise, he wouldn't have talked about being clear that he has an obsession. Keep that in mind.
In this chapter I tried to explain some things. Like that the MC really doesn't know how to work as a team... And that again, not all his plans go perfectly.
