Xu Yue part 2

Looking at the number of paintings inside of her spatial bag made Xu Yue sigh. She did not want to even begin to count their number.

For the past few months, Xu Yue had not left her cave abode at all. As a cultivator at the Foundation Establishment realm, she could survive a few months without food, but even if she couldn't, she had discovered that someone had given her a large amount of pills to satisfy her hunger.

This discovery made Xu Yue swear to herself that she would organize the entirety of her spatial bag. Aside from her training or painting, this is what she had spent her time doing for the past few months.

By far the largest amount of wealth inside of her spatial bag was composed of scriptures, as both her grandfather and mother were at the Dao Saint rank, and they could easily copy scriptures.

Inside of her spatial bag, now organized, stood around one thousand Earth Rank techniques. Most of them were sword techniques, but around two hundred of them were not. These included techniques that focused on all sorts of branches of cultivation.

There were also fifty-three heaven-ranked techniques inside of her spatial bag, all of which would be considered priceless in the outside world.

"This is way too small," said Xu Yue, looking at the mountain of low-rank spirit stones that she had personally organized.

In the past few months, Xu Yue had grown to appreciate the shininess of spirit stones.

Inside of her spatial bag, the mountain of spirit stones from before was separated into a slightly smaller mountain of low-rank spiritual stones, a pile of mid-rank ones and a few high-rank spiritual stones.

High-rank spiritual stones are extremely valuable. Major Trancendance cultivators from outside the sect probably have about as many of these as Xu Yue.

Enhancing the size of the spiritual stone mountain had become a high priority for when she became stronger.

When Xu Yue tried to calculate the worth of the treasures inside the spatial bag, she somehow managed to get a headache.

"I should at least make an estimate," mumbled Xu Yue under her breath, knowing that how much money she actually had was something Xu Yue felt was quite important.

Xu Yue took a deep breath, looking at the number she had gotten, around three hundred million low-rank spiritual stones.

A large majority of that came from the worth of the scriptures and the number of spirtual stones that existed in the mountain.

"I need more," thought Xu Yue, looking at the number. Since her grandfather and mother could give her such gifts, they should be much richer than this. A frown appeared on Xu Yue's face as she thought of this.

A moment later, Xu Yue took out a pill to replenish her energy. She had grown to love the convenience of not having to spend a large amount of time eating.

After relaxing for a few moments, Xu Yue's eyes shone. She had just gotten a brilliant idea for a painting after remembering something.

Taking out the required material, Xu Yue began painting zealously. After a few hours, the painting was completed.

"I should do this sometime later," mumbled Xu Yue, looking at the painting.

The painting depicted Xu Yue swimming inside a limitless ocean of liquified spiritual stones. Liquifing spiritual stones is something that can be done with a formation, it's main use is in alchemy and talisman refinement.

"Swimming in spiritual stones," thought Xu Yue as she became excited.

Inside Xu Yue's sea of consciousness

Yue's eyes shone as well, looking at the painting the main body had created, Yue's eyes shone as well.

"I should do this," mumbled Yue as she imagined herself swimming inside an ocean of spiritual stones while holding the main body by the waist.

Greedy, prideful, prone to wrath, envious of those that are even temporarily better than her, and sometimes lustful, these were the things that could best characterize Xu Yue.

As a heart demon, Yue had the same characteristics as Xu Yue, only she was even more, emotional and her desires conquered her more easily.

If she was inside of a traditional Taoist sect, Xu Yue would have to suppress her desires, but since the Origin Sword sect was a swordsmanship sect, the only thing that matters if emphasized inside of the sect is the sword. Nothing else matters. Suppressing her desires could even cause Xu Yue's improvement speed to decrease.

Unknown to most cultivators, one of the false-immortal ancestors of the sect is actually a demonic cultivator. Something even more shocking was the fact that two of the immortal realm ancestors of the sect are Demonic Cultivators.

As such, as long as they were talented and had a heart focused on the sword, the Origin Sword sect would accept even Demonic Cultivators.

After admiring the painting for a few minutes, Xu Yue put it into her spatial bag and finally exited her cave abode for the first time in months.

The first thing Xu Yue did when she exited her abode was go towards her senior sister's abode.

"Senior sister," Xu Yue said lightly.

A moment later, Xu Yue found herself next to her senior sister.

Looking at Xu Yue made Liang Xiaoling feel an ache in her heart. When her master had discovered her desire, her heart demon had managed to resurface, causing her to scare her little junior sister into staying locked inside of her cave abode.

After defeating the heart demon, she checked up on her junior sister, but when she saw that Xu Yue was busy, Liang Xiaoling did not want to interrupt her.

"Senior sister," mumbled Xu Yue lightly as she felt herself being hugged tightly by her senior sister.

Xu Yue's mood dropped a little when she found that she was almost as tall as her senior sister.

As Liang Xiaoling stopped hugging Xu Yue, she remembered why she had not hugged her for such a long period of time.

Ignoring those thoughts in the back of her mind, Liang Xiaoling started leisurely talking with Xu Yue.
